Had a great stay. House on the Hill is in a lovely location. It had everything we needed and more. The night sky was amazing! Boomer and Angie were really helpful when we had a puncture and with advice on where to visit and hike in the area.

Fantastic location, couple of minutes drive to downtown Custer which has some incredible restaurants. The host are great, friendly people who have the best rock collection I have ever seen. The property is huge, plenty to see and explore including their garden.

We booked this place with very little notice and we we pleasantly surprised. We planned to use this place as a central location that would allow us to see and visit areas within the surrounding areas. To our surprise there was actually a lot to see in Hill City. The home is beautiful decorated, it has up to date appliances and finishes and was spotless. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay and more. The hosts have gone above and beyond providing a lot of extras to make your stay special. We would definitely recommend this place.

This place was very accurately described, very peaceful and clean. We felt right at home. As described they do a young kids and dogs that you can hear but that didn’t bug us at all! It was super easy to find and check in. Would certainly stay here again if I’m ever in the area!

Jennifer was very nice and quick to respond. It was hard to find a place that would allow a cat, but fortunately Jennifer was accommodating. The place was really nice and clean. Loved the surrounding area, lots of food choices.

Mackenzie was very friendly and accommodating and her daughter Maddy was a delight … reminding us so much of our grandkids. Mackenzie provided very tasty and filling breakfasts each morning. Her property is immaculate and serene, with homely and interesting decor. We and our friends had the whole downstairs to ourselves, which included 2 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a huge meals and lounge area, with very comfy furniture. The surrounding areas are amazing and we could have spent much more time there. We would return in a heartbeat and throughly recommend Mackenzie’s Dakota Dream

Chelsea & Anthony are awesome hosts. Gave us so many suggestions of things to do for our next visit. They even came to watch our grand daughters snowmobile races and let her play with the goats. We will definitely be back! highly recommend this place. Great friendly & kind hosts.

Al’s place is very close to hill city but tucked away in a very private and peaceful area. His large log home is very comfortable and he made us feel very at home. We were traveling with two other couples to ride the Mickelson trail and hike. There was a large gathering area where we ate and played games. Al provided delicious muffins and coffee. The other couples commented about how staying in Al’s place was much more comfortable than they thought since we’ve all used Airbnb and had the place to ourselves in the past. It was a perfect weekend away!

Whitney is an amazing host! We loved our stay and can't wait to return to this peaceful slice of heaven.

We really enjoyed our stay at Meagan’s place. It was exactly as described. Good location. Had everything we needed and very spacious. Plenty of room for the three adults who stayed. Our favorite place was the backyard. The beds were comfortable. Was very pleased with this in all aspects. Meagan is a great host and very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend

Don't even hesitate, book now! We will return and tell all our family and friends. Very modern yet earthy with a great calm vibe. Nature is everywhere for you to enjoy, out every window and all over outside! Bighorn sheep, turkey, rabbits, peacocks, squirrels - simply amazing!

Patrick’s photos don’t show how bright, spacious and clean the apartment is. After a few nights in hotels, the bathroom is huge. We each had our own sink. It’s located so close to many local parks. We drove to Custer State Park and Devil’s Tower. Spearfish Canyon is 30 minutes away and we found amazing hikes there. This was one of our favorite Airbnb’s ever. It had everything you needed after a long day of exploring!!

This property was amazing. Way better than staying in local hotels. Very responsive host and always had great suggestions. Property was very clean. Very close to downtown Spearfish and less than 20 from deadwood. The hosts were amazing and made you feel right at home. Definitely recommend this hidden gem. The views alone are worth it. Thanks for an amazing trip.

The property was as described. The genius decor is cute. It is a basement apartment so there is some squeaking from the floor above. It is conveniently located to downtown shops and restaurants as well as I90. Good instructions made check in and out easy. Overall a good price for the space.
