A wonderful little cabin nestled off of Hwy 44 between Rapid City and Johnson Siding. A great stay, as always!

We loved our family weekend get together here. Sarah was very accommodating when we had to change dates of stay and add to the family count. She was a great host. Everything was wonderful and would so recommend! We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful oasis. Homey cabin feel in the woods, but minutes from all the local amenities. The photos do not do this listing justice. Much larger than we expected, could easily accommodate 2 couples or a small family. Eye to detail and thoughtful touches with the decor. Paul and Joann were friendly and were available as little or as much as we wanted. Really enjoyed getting to feed the horses, and interact with Lily. It was good for our dog to have a friendly dog around as our other dog had passed shortly before the trip. The sauna and hot tub were truly icing on the cake and made it feel like a resort. Everything you could need was available including parking in the garage. Centrally located to the local sights and we enjoyed the Spearfish Canyon Scenic byway seeing mountain goats and sheep for the first time. Can't recommend this place enough and already thinking about our next trip there. Merci Beaucoup!!

A very cute and quiet little place that was surrounded by lots to look at and enjoy!

Squirrel Hill cabin had us contemplating a cross country move from NJ to SD. The space was exactly as pictured, if not better. The play set in the yard was perfect for my two young kids (3 and 4); we enjoyed the hot tub in both 80 degree sunny days and during the snow; game room in the bunkhouse was a huge hit as well as the loft and board games - we played monopoly every morning while watching the wildlife. The house had very thoughtful touches throughout from high-end bathroom products to the welcome bag of popcorn. Megan is also the perfect host! She graciously allowed us to check in a few hours early to get settled and checked on us for anything we may need throughout our stay. Her local guidebook was a nice complement to our already planned adventures and was very thorough. If you’re looking in this area… STAY HERE! <3

A great spring break getaway! The wildlife in the area was an extra special highlight! Megan is very responsive. We had a wonderful stay!

This place was wonderful and the property was so beautiful. Every morning woke up to turkeys and deer on the property. The hot tub was amazing. 🤩 house was very clean and convenient to Sturgis, Deadwood and Rapid City.

Our family enjoyed staying at Nancy's place! The location was great, easy to get to stores and main highways. Lots of space for our family to spread out. Clean and stocked with everything you need. The kids loved the toy room! Would stay here again!

It was the perfect house for me and my friends for spring break! The distance to the ski resort you can’t beat it! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! Things were as advertised and very comfortable for our family. The kitchen, which we used often, was well equipped and clean. The beds were comfy and roomy. The children enjoyed the basement room, with its games and toys. We used the hot tub once. It was also clean with towels by the door. My only complaint would be the hot water & water pressure situation. Only one person could shower at a time and only for a few minutes until the hot water was getting cold. It was a minor inconvenience to not be able to shower while the washer or dishwasher or another person was showering.

Could’ve just sit there on the front porch and watched the wildlife for all three days, but we had places to go and see. Very peaceful and comfortable.

Absolutely Magical Stay in Rapid City!!! I stayed at this beautiful cabin for a few days and honestly didn’t want to leave. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by stunning natural beauty with tall pines and incredible views. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Thoughtful touches throughout made it feel like a true home away from home. I especially loved starting my mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise over the hills. Perfect spot for relaxing, recharging, and enjoying nature. I’d come back in a heartbeat!! Thank you guys! 😀

We just completed our four night stay and it was absolutely wonderful. We were pulling a trailer with two motorcycles so we needed to find a place to stay which could accommodate our trailer. Mackenzie’s place was perfect! It was just a little ways out of town, but so quiet and peaceful. The place was stocked with dishes, microwave, mini fridge, etc - but the fridge was the only thing we used. The bed was comfortable. We opened windows at night and it was really cool and comfortable. Our entire trip was perfect, until five minutes before we were ready to leave this morning at 6a and my boyfriend locked the keys in the car. I would absolutely book Mackenzie’s place again if we return to the area!!

This is our second time staying here - it’s just as beautiful in the fall as it is in the winter. My dog and I had a great time exploring, sitting on the deck, observing the wildlife (daily visits from many deer, turkeys, etc). It’s very peaceful. The deck is our favorite place to hang. The addition of the recliner inside is so great - as is the new deck furniture. Truly a little slice of heaven. Will definitely be back again!

This was our home base for 9 days while we explored all around the Black Hills and into Wyoming. The house was very comfortable for us , our friends who joined for the first few days, and our two pups. It was easy to find, easy to get into, and easy to feel right at home. Ryan’s recommendations for food did not disappoint. We were all craving a good steak dinner our first night there, so we decided to try Delmonico Grille. The food was amazing!!! We also ventured out and tried a couple places on our own. Ryan, if you haven’t been, you should go to these two places. Murphy’s Pub & Grille has a great atmosphere, and their bacon wrapped buffalo meatloaf is worth the trip! Next up is Neighbors Grub & Pub. Seriously, the best burger I’ve ever had!! All of Ryan’s suggestions for things to see were already on our list and were absolutely amazing!! This was definitely one of our most memorable vacations

The apt is in the bottom. When you walk in there is the twin trundle bed. Everything is liked pictured. The apt was clean and Chris gave us a walk through. The laundry is a shared space, but there is a door with a lock to separate the upstairs from downstairs. Chris was super nice and was even willing and provide us with seasonings if we chose to cook. We felt safe and everything was clean.

Loved my stay at Jamin & Jessica's place! Great location in Rapid City that is a quick drive to anything downtown, even a few hikes. Also loved proximity to nearly everything on my bucket list for the Black Hills. House was the perfect size and had everything I needed for a month-long stay: wifi worked great too for working from the house. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very nice, quiet place. A short drive to town but very doable. Short drive to most of the touristy spots. For us the trout fishing was close with several lakes to select from. Fantastic fishing, 19 trout the first day in less than 3 hours. It’s not real fancy but real comfortable, and lots of wildlife in the yard. Bob and Candy were great, helpful host’s and just two doors down the road.

We enjoyed our stay here. While it was mainly a home base while we explored the area, it definitely served its purpose and was comfortable to stay in. It was clean and spacious. The neighborhood was peaceful, but still close to the town. Raquel was quick with responses to our questions and proactive in reaching out about check in and check out. Also, check out was a breeze. The checklist was short and sweet, and I didn’t feel like I had to do half the cleaner’s jobs for them.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve stayed. It is 100% off the beaten path and we absolutely loved it!!! The surroundings were breathtaking and watching the sunrise/sunset over the hills was perfection. We had a small hiccup during our stay and Peyton and her dad were amazing throughout it! Great communication and kindness. She’s a fantastic host!

a wonderful place that we are simply delighted with. The house is located in the middle of the forest, a great place for seclusion. The furniture and floor were not completely clean, but these are not major problems at all. We will be happy to return to this wonderful house to enjoy the mountains and the forest once again.

We had a great experience staying here! It’s in a great location! You can easily walk to beautiful downtown and to Spearfish Park and the Fish Hatchery. The house was beautiful and easily accommodated our group. Scott was very responsive and flexible when we ended up having to change the date of our trip. I highly recommend for a great experience! Also, the kitchen was well stocked with all your cooking and baking needs! Thank you!!
