Monthly Rentals in Rapaki Bay

First of all the stay at the tiny house was amazing! It was so cozy and felt like home. Also it always smelled so good. There were plenty of books. Everything was super clean and also Catherine offered to make a mid stay cleaning for free. The kitchen had although it was very tiny a lot to offer. The oven was for me a little confusing because there was a real flame on the back of the oven to bake. So I didn’t used it but that’s not a problem for me. The washing machine was the only thing which was a little disappointing. It was super tiny and didn’t really washed good. It could also wash just cold. I know Catherine also explained it like it’s just meant for underwear but I feel like a bigger and better washing machine would still be great. Also the lock on the door should be changed to a safer one because it was really weak in my opinion. Catherine was wonderful and communicated a lot. I would definitely recommend this place!

We just stayed at Sonja’s AirBnB for a month and were sad to leave as it really felt like home and Sonja is a large part of that along with her comfortable, welcoming, clean and spacious accommodation. The garden is a lovely extension of that space too and is even better than the photos!. We enjoyed interacting and having fun with Bobby, Sonja’s dog but you don’t have to when staying there. We would happily return to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sonja, as to us she’s a Superhost and now also a friend. Thank you Sonja.

What a wonderful little cottage tucked away in a beautiful garden with a great view of the bay. It is nice and private and full of bird song. The trailhead to the Allandale reserve starts just off the road. The place has all you need for a cozy stay and Rosie and Mark could not have been more welcoming. They made me feel right at home and graciously treated me to eggs and vegetables from their chickens and the garden. I would gladly stay here again.

The view is amazing! Lovely accomodation with comfortable bed and sofa. Very clean. Grab your provisions beforehand (milk, tea etc) from Lyttleton.
