Elena and Bernard were the perfect hosts. The Barn was very easy to find, a beautiful peaceful location next to St Andrews Church. Everything was spotless, one of the best equipped kitchens we've had with Air B&B. Such a comfortable bed, plenty of space to put your things away. Beautiful bathroom, lovely hot shower and fluffy towels. We had a problem with the Internet and Bernard came round straight away and sorted it out for us. We enjoyed sitting in the private courtyard as we were lucky with the weather. Would definitely recommend staying here, and hopefully we will again in the future. Great beds, wonderful bathroom. Quite well equipped. Very useful hotplate for cooking simple meals if you don't want to to spend money eating out. I would recommend, if you are a light sleeper, that you bring earplugs for the occasional night travelling HGV that goes passed on the A38 - but you can't hear the traffic from the M5. If we were coming to the area again we would not hesitate to stay there again.

There's not alot I can say about Birch Cottage except...absolutely amazing. The cottage has been done to a 'very' high standard & all the fixtures & fittings are all high quality. Its a definite 'home from home'. The beds so comfy you don't want to get out of it. The kitchen has got everything you need in a kitchen & more & the same with the shower room. & if there's any problems or questions you need answered then Chris replies within 10 mins. A definite 5+☆ host. Oh, & the views...well they're absolutely amazing! On a clear day you can see for miles. You could just sit on the outside chairs with a bottle, or 2, of wine & just breathe it all in & fuss Chris's kitties, Bertie and Piccolo, who are lovely. So in short, an excellent cottage in an excellent location with excellent views & 2 furry friends to fuss & cuddle! What's not to like?!! 10+☆

Had a lovely 3 nights stay in a very comfortable cottage with beautiful views across open countryside. The cottage is well equipped with everything you may need and was very clean . Lovely sunny conservatory leads onto garden and patio . Comfortable bed with lovely comfy pillows. Excellent location for travel to many of the popular tourist locations all within easy reach. Good instructions from Chris and Natalie for directions and check-in as well as secure gated parking . Would stay again if we revisit the area again.
