Monthly Rentals in Rangblang

We recently stayed at The Hesed House in Cherrapunjee, and it was a delightful experience. The cottage is beautifully done up, offering a cozy and warm ambiance, perfect for a getaway. With four well-appointed bedrooms, it comfortably accommodated our group of 6. One of the standout features was the lovely library, perfect for unwinding with a book after a day of exploring, it would be a great idea to include some board games and jigsaw puzzles for the benefit of ones who’d want to unwind otherwise. The kitchenette along with a nice big dining table was well-equipped, giving us the option to enjoy some light meals in the comfort of the cottage. The fireplace added an extra touch of warmth, making the evenings feel particularly special with superbly made cocktails. We also had the pleasure of trying the local khasi food, which was flavourful and authentic. Tracy, the attendant, was always courteous and greeted us with a warm smile, ensuring that we felt right at home. Thank you.

Good place for a short stay. Everything looks like the pics, it was spick and span, heater and geyser are available, there is a restaurant opposite. The kitchen is well appointed. Only drawback for me was the height of the bedroom ceiling upstairs. The low ceiling made sitting up in bed impossible,also had to bend down just to get onto the upper level. Batista is very helpful and recommended a great driver as well.He was also helpful in making guide arrangements for Mawphlang sacred grove and the David Scott trail. Be aware that Mawphlang in general seems very cold compared to the rest of Meghalaya, in my experience, as we visited Shillong,Sohra,Shnongpdeng etc all of which were much warmer. It was 7 degrees at night in Mawphlang and we visited in March,which I think is summer for Meghalaya.We struggled with the cold and were thankful we were there only for a night.

Tei is an absolute sweetheart and made us feel right at home. 3 days felt less cause she made us feel so so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. She also recommended a dozen of things that we could do around and we loved all her recommendations! Can’t wait to be back soon! 🫶🏼

The stay is too good and peaceful! The staff is very well behaved and very helpful! They helped us with suggestions to visit local places which turned out to be mesmerizing! Will be staying here on my next visit too! 🔥❣️
