Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ramsgate

This is a gorgeous Airbnb and to be in the square at Chilham is wonderful. You could see others passing by looking enviously at our “house” 🤭 Massive beds that were very comfortable, wood burner that makes it really cosy and some delicious biscuits waiting for us. We had visits from Colt the dog from the pub which was lovely. Walking over to the pub and back was bliss. We didn’t eat in the village as we had a family get together elsewhere but we were made to feel very welcome at the White Horse. We didn’t do many of the walks that we did last time we were in the area but there are plenty. If you visit in May you must visit the woods where the bluebells grow. We will return to this place, it’s just lovely 🥰

The space felt welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to explore. Lovely quaint house in the heart of Sandwich. The house is really well kept, with absolutely everything we needed. Location is perfect close to lots of restaurants. Claire was very responsive and super clear about everything. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in south-east Kent.

Just back from a weekend staying at Kates lovely cottage. Fantastic location, super clean and great to find somewhere with 2 double beds when holidaying with a friend. Kate was great at communication and we really appreciated our generous welcome pack of milk, snacks and some bubbly. Great early checking at 12 noon too. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay in Whitstable. The house was clean and everything was as described. The stairs are very steep so we had to be very careful descending them while holding a baby Parking was limited in the streets around the house but we managed to find a space most days although had to use the pay and display car park at the end of the road on one occasion. The house is in a great location just a 5 minute walk to the high street where there are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. Would recommend to others.

An idyllic spot for a girls weekend, perfect for 12 of us. Well equipped kitchen, big dining and living space with a gorgeous sun trap of a terrace outside. We also loved the hot tub! Our host Ange came round when we arrived to welcome us and was really helpful with recommendations for the area. A lovely stay and I’m sure we’ll be back!

Fantastic visit! Great apartment! Brilliant Host! Everything was as described and my family and I had a fantastic weekend. The beach was right on our doorstep and we could not have asked for more. We will be back!

Amazing accommodation. Photos really don’t do it justice. Beautiful quiet home with absolutely everything you may need for a comfortable stay. Lots of supplies in the kitchen such as coffee, bottled water, salt & pepper, etc. Everything felt new and the place was spotless, bed and sofa comfortable. Jonathan the host was there at check in and talked us through everything. Location couldn’t be better, everything is walkable and right by the sea. Excellent value for money.

The accommodation was easy to find and in a great location to explore Margate. Check in was straightforward. Lots of recommendations on where to go in Margate which was really helpful. The accommodation was really clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for making our weekend away enjoyable!

I wouldn’t want to spoil the wow factor for anyone else so il do my best not to ramble on….. I personally love the East Kent Coastline and there’s so much to do and see in this particular area, as you are spoilt for choice with restaurants and plenty of activities. This Airbnb is conveniently placed right opposite Margate main sands beach, and right behind it you have Dreamland. The property is also not far from Margate old town where there are plenty more shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants, and pubs to choose from. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was found clean, and Amy was a pleasant host from start to finish with excellent communication. Every detail about this property has been carefully thought out and you can see and feel that the minute you enter.

Great stay. The accommodation is very close to bus stop for the Thanet Loop. This bus travels around Thanet and is regular.

The flat was full of light in the mornings, and directly above the wonderful Windy Corner cafe, so easy access to breakfast! The location was great, quiet but convenient for the main high street. Spacious and well maintained. The kitchen diner was really comfortable for family times and meals. Rooms were good sizes and had very comfortable beds. The host was very responsive to questions and all information shared was clear making our time very relaxing. I hope we can return again very soon x

We had a lovely stay at Appledown. The bungalow was clean and well-equipped. It should be very convenient for anyone with mobility difficulties. The views are magnificent - mainly open countryside and trees - and it's also only 20 minutes across the fields from the beach at Kingsdown via public footpaths. Comms were all good and check in very easy.

We spent a lovely Christmas here and had everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect, endless sea views and plenty of places to walk to with the dogs. The apartments are well stocked with everything needed to cook a beautiful Christmas dinner and Anthony even provided us with lovely Christmas trees. It felt like a home away from home. Anthony kindly let us check-in early and check-out late which helped us truly relax. This was our second time staying and won’t be our last!

We had a great Christmas. The house is a much bigger then the photos. Plenty of space for a large family and more then enough hot water for all of us!! The house is very clean, enough pots, pans plates etc. Lovely setting, loved the little church, which is open for visiters only, seeped in history.

As others have said, the photos don’t do this place justice. We were blown away by the location, the views and how amazing Linda was. She accommodated us at very short notice (booked the day before we arrived) and she met us to give us a tour. She even gave us some treats which was such a lovely touch. The area is so peaceful and quiet, even my kids enjoyed just sitting on the terrace watching the sea. I highly recommend this AirBnB. An amazing place to stay! Thank you again Linda for being amazing and making our last minute trip such a memorable one.
