Travelled for work. Lovely quiet and clean place, even had fire lit for my arrival. Wonderful host

This is a great place to stay. The property is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. It is in a quiet area a short walk away from Melton Mowbray town centre. The host, Adie is very friendly and check in instructions and directions were easy and clear. We really appreciated having tea, coffee, milk and even cereals and breakfast items provided for our stay which was a really nice addition. Highly recommend Adie's place for a stay in this area.

We had a delightful stay in Ivy Cottage for four nights. We came to visit relatives who live quite close We spent one whole day in Bradgate Park which was absolutely amazing – we were very lucky with the weather so we were able to walk all day there. The café in the park was good value and good food. Although there was no parking on the property, the parking outside was extremely easy and the road was not busy Very tasty home-made fruit yoghurts from the farm just over the road were a real treat Suz was an amazing host, very friendly and helpful As a dog lover myself, little Coco was a joy for me ❤️ What more can I say but a huge thank you to Suz for a lovely few days in Thrussington and we will certainly return in the future if we need to come to Leicestershire again, which is highly likely and won’t come quickly enough

We have just spent a great couple of relaxing, peaceful, enjoyable days at Woodside Cottage. This cottage is beautifully furnished, exactly as the photos and description said. It is well furnished , immaculately clean, warm, and bright with good quality bedding, towels etc. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We were welcomed with cup cakes and milk. Great to enjoy with a cup of tea after a long journey. Tony and Deon were very good hosts, friendly, helpful and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants. We are hoping to book here again, but, for a longer stay next time. Thank you both
