Had a great stay, if i ever come back to costa rica i will def be booking here again!

What a fantastic location, with a great host. First, if you want to stay in a little slice of paradise, this is the place to go. A well equipped home in a gated community - which really is a community with everyone so friendly and helpful. The property itself is great, a real home away from home. It came everything we needed for a month in paradise. The property itself more than lived up to expectations - when we originally looked at the listing we were skeptical that the monkeys and other wildlife would be seen but the wildlife was abundant, the property extremely well maintained, and the common areas all very well kept. The location is amazing as well, especially if you don't want to be in a tourist town like Quepos or Jaco. Secluded, with a short walk to an amazing beach, a short walk to an amazing local restaurant, and a drive or bike ride into the town of Parritta where all you shopping needs can be met. Mauricio was a great host, very helpful and responsive. We have already recommended the location to our friends and family, and would definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jessica and Luis. Not only for the nice and quiet of the property, but also because of the good vibe and willingness of Jessica and her family. The property is very cute and located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Birds, monkeys, and the sea are part of the sight and constant sounds. The bungalow is very comfortable and has everything you need. And whatever you don't have, Jessica and Luis are always attentive to help with whatever you need!!

My partner and I had an amazing experience here. The accommodations are simple but plenty comfortable, and the property is incredible. The managers Tarky and Nicole showed us around the property (so much space, epic mountain views, so much food growing!), took us on a tour of the biological reserve next door (amazing organization, epic waterfalls and real jungle trails without tourists), and made us really good "comida tipica" for just a few bucks per meal. It was nice to have access to the kitchen, too. If you're looking for a quiet place to go deep with the land, experience the jungle/mountains and have a taste of the Costa Rican countryside, this is it. We also went home with a bag of coffee from the coffee plants outside our room and it's the best I've had in a long, long time!

The view from this Airbnb is absolutely breathtaking. We spent hours with our binoculars, watching toucans and macaws glide over the treetops with the ocean as a stunning backdrop. The price for that view is unbeatable. During our stay, construction started nearby, and it seems likely to continue through the year. The crew worked most of the day, so if you’re sensitive to noise, I’d recommend bringing headphones or another way to block out the sound. It would be wonderful if the city of Quepos considered limiting construction hours to balance development with the area’s natural beauty.

Beautiful space and surroundings, awesome pool, super friendly and responsive hosts, darling children, and big adorable (sometimes loud) dog. Short bike ride to beaches, restaurants, and yoga classes. All round a great place. We loved our stay.

It was our third stay with Noah and Maria. Once again, top notch service and very happy to be able to call them friends at this point. If you’re staying in the area, it’s def worth staying with them.

We had a very nice stay at this very new mid century style home. The beach had a nice local restaurant/bar that we enjoyed very much! The cool dipping pool and outside shower was great.

An excellent place, quiet and relaxing, highly recommended

Jenny was an amazing host, she was always attentive, the place is super clean and nice, it is private with the pool and excellent for pets, the location is amazing, super central, near restaurants and the beach. My pet loved the place and didn't want to leave, he got along well with the dogs in the area and Leo. I recommend Jenny's place, it's excellent and she's a top host. Thank you for your hospitality!

My family and I spent the new year on Doña Machelly's airbnb and everything was perfect! The house is just as seen in the photos, I'd even dare to say it's even better. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you may need, the space the house has is giant which our dogs enjoyed too much and also the pool is perfect. It has a perfect location since it is close to the beach but also has just a convenience store just on par for everything you need to buy. Doña Machelly helped us in absolutely everything we needed and answered quickly. In conclusion, my whole family was satisfied with the stay and we hope to be back soon, if you have the chance to book this airbnb definitely do!

Felt at home, it was a beautiful area, I do recommend getting a vehicle that’s a 4x4, the mountain is about a 20 min drive up it’s super bumpy but has some amazing views so it took us about an hour to get up only cause we stopped to take pictures 😂 100% recommend 👏🏼

Len and Vani’s place was such a dream to stay at, absolute paradise. The house looked exactly as pictured and was very clean. It was great to be able to relax in the hot tub and pool and we loved waking up to the sounds of the jungle each day. They also have the two sweetest dogs, and their pup Reina always lovingly greeted us whenever we would return from our daily adventures. Communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation! Thanks so much Len & Vani!

Beautiful stay in the heart of Manuel Antonio. Evelina was so accommodating and we had the best time greeting their awesome dogs every morning! Monkeys can be seen from the outside kitchen area and the location is perfect for getting to the bus stop/not far from the beach. I highly recommend and will be back asap!

Stunning location that is well worth the steep drive uphill (it’s doable). One of the most unique places I’ve stayed, with ocean and sunset views, your own pool, and jungle surroundings. Gelena is a very friendly host!

The place is nice. Close to a nice beach and surrounded by nature. Fatima is always ready to answer any questions or concerns that may arise.

We’ve been to 5 Airbnb all over, since coming to Costa Rica and this is by far my favorite one. Waking up to the feeling of being in the jungle while being in walking distance to everything including the beach was very convenient. It was very peaceful and watching monkey’s swing on the trees on the second floor was icing on the cake. I felt as though this Airbnb captured everything Costa Rica was truly about. The place was very clean and it gave the warm feeling of being a native, my children also enjoyed it as well. I’m gonna miss seeing his one chicken walking around dropping a daily delicious egg. Nick was very kind to us and I’m very grateful that I got a chance to experience this place. It truly is one of a kind and very generously priced.

We really enjoyed staying in the Castle in the Jungle! the sunsets and storm watching was perfect from the balcony. We really liked the location as it is close to both Dominical and Uvita with Dominical being a bit closer. It is on the north side of the road construction, which worked well for our purposes. You can hear a bit of the road noise, but it isnt that loud. The monkeys and jungle sounds mostly block it out. The space has everything you need, although it is very cozy. We appreciated having a washer and dyer. Overall, A great stay and Jim and Amy were great hosts!

rita was super nice and welcoming. the place has a nice little pool that the kids enjoyed very much. and sitting on the couch looking at all the greenery was great. the house has extra small things that helped, like usb splitters to charge all our phones (our appliances aren't with the local plug, so that helped a lot). the television is only in one room though. and can't be seen from the living space. if you decide on ojochal, i definitely recommend Rita's place. aside from that, about the location. it is quiet and pretty, but ojochal was a bit problematic for us. some water, and electricity cut offs (didn't have water for half a day), and the main bridge to ojochal sometimes gets swept away by the rain, only to be rebuilt in a few hours. there is another longer way around though in case that happens
