Cabin vacation rentals in Puntarenas Province

Beautiful location. Cannot beat it. You can hear the ocean and are steps away from a gorgeous beach that is not crowded at all. My children loved the small tub on the back porch especially when it was raining. Our stay was magical!

Nothing new to say that has not already been mentioned - this place is beautiful, and matches the photos pretty accurately. would definitely recommend for a unique stay and amazing sunsets. We really enjoyed everything about our stay. it was peaceful, private but still very close to all the action of town. the kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to make breakfast easily. We stayed with our 5 year old daughter, and caution just needs to be used with regards to the outdoor space for little ones, which we understood prior to booking from looking at the pictures.

Perfect spot! Beautiful views

The house is lovely and cozy, and the view is amazing. The road there was rougher than we expected, but nothing too bad. Our second day was somewhat inconvenient, but Lauren kept communication open and solved the problems for us. Still thankful they accommodated us, as it was a last-minute trip.

Lugar as shown in the advertisement. Very well equipped. easy, clear instructions and many recommendations. Good privacy and peace of mind for clearing. Rustic site but with many amenities to enjoy the stay.

Stayed 2 months and 10 days at the wooden cabin, and I was genuinely saddened to leave. It was actually hard for me to leave this place. Abel is literally a problem solver. He jumps right in when problems arise to come up with solutions. Enjoy his sense of humor in Spanish, if you can. Spent Xmas dinner with this man and the kindest volunteer at the farm, and I wouldn't trade my end-of-year plans with anyone for anything. It was all perfect as it was. There's a beautiful community living there. Treat yourself to seclusion with a nice, clean, private swimming pool by a short walk to a waterfall and the river. Living here is a gift. Thanks, Brenda, for the humble care of the horses, the plants, and the garden. Thanks, above all, for sharing your property ;) All the best to you all!

beautiful place! Just for the city getaway for peace and tranquility. The cabin is small but has everything you need, I would definitely come back! The sheets, bathroom and everything was super clean. I'm just missing the Netflix, they don't have it available... Overall, I was fascinated.

Wonderful place, fantastic hosts!

We had a family weekend and everything was perfect! Sidney was always attentive to any need, however the place is so complete, with easy access to the property, it is easy to enter the cabin, his instructions and directions are so clear that it is not necessary to "bother" Sidney! It is a charming cabin, as soon as you arrive you notice the love that was put into every detail, surrounded by nature and with a beautiful view, during your stay you breathe peace and calm! We would definitely go back a thousand times! We made precious memories in this beautiful space!

This place was cozy and relaxing. A nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city while still being close. it felt like a private resort and the pool was well maintained. welved all the nature and plants around the Casita.

Large house with windows to all sides, only forest around, quiet place, good supply of firewood for fireplace well located and safe. Well equipped kitchen, maybe add 1 or 2 knives to cut. Nature included a nest in process on the terrace.

A place very close to the border, perfect for shopping and getting around. Everyone was always very friendly and provided us with dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended!

This place is so beautiful and serene— it really does feel like a fairytale. The surroundings are as depicted—lush green with rows of hydrangeas everywhere and the city in the distance. The place itself is modern and cute with everything you need and the little fireplace/heater was a nice bonus on a cooler night. Like other guests have mentioned, the animals on property were very friendly (my favorite was this little orange cat). Would definitely loved to have stayed longer.

Luis was a great host that went out of his way to help us when we had car troubles. His home is really cozy with an amazing view. The mattresses are firm and comfortable, and the shower had great pressure and really hot water (rare and so appreciated at airbnbs in Costa Rica). Thanks again Luis, we will come back when we fix the car 😆

Joe and Sue were amazing hosts! We arrived in the evening and immediately had an activity plannend early next morning. But breakfast was already prepared and was waiting for us in the fridge so we didn’t have to go with an empty stomach. They proactively arranged the taxis for us, another thing we didn’t not have to worry about. Joe and Sue are very lovely people with an amazing property and location. In the morning we did activities and in the afternoon we enjoyed the large swimming pool. Also a big shoutout to Ellie, she is the cook who made amazing 3 course dinners every evening for us. Definitely recommend this place!

The place was charming and eclectic. The decor was so fun! There was more space than the photos suggested. Two large bedrooms a large porch and a large great room, slept plenty of people.

Nice place. You can spot animals from the porch. There is no separate bedroom. The shower temperature is difficult to control. Furthermore, we had a great time. Host was helpful and quick to respond

We really needed a place to disconnect from activity and reconnect with our Creator and ourselves and Eden Atenas was the perfect place for that. The colors and sounds of all the flowers and birds gently refreshed would souls to that we could be completely renewed. What an incredible blessing!

Very nice place to stay in Dota. From here you can take great hikes and experience beautiful nature The place is very clean and cozy. Especially since the hot water and shower are great (good water pressure) The kitchen offers everything to cook simple dishes. The beds can be warmed up and this was definitely a highlight in the evening. We really enjoyed it! The only small note would be that there is no room for a dining table inside and when it is fresh, there is no way to eat together inside. The Wi-Fi was not always stable, but not a problem for us as we wanted to enjoy nature. We do not expect any direct houses/neighbors. This did not come out of the description so we were a little surprised when we arrived. However, the cottage still offers enough privacy and you can look nicely into the forest from the balcony. Definitely recommend :)
