We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and well-maintained home. The ocean view from the balcony was stunning, and the house was tidy and comfortable. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly, making the experience smooth from start to finish. It’s a great base for exploring the island—just keep in mind that having a car is essential. Fantastic stay - best place to stay on the Big Island! What an amazing location, with a fantastic view! Private and relaxing, looking out onto coffee trees and the ocean. The place is everything that's promised and more. Great kitchen for cooking dinner if you don't feel like going out, an amazing outdoor shower, a GIANT TV for the times you want to just relax, and outdoor space that's private and tranquil. Everyone I communicated with was immediately responsive, and had suggestions for places to go (especially coffee farms), and responded very quickly. I can't recommend this place enough - we may be coming back again and staying here if it's available again! PS - the frogs: some people may love them, some may not like the noise. I didn't mind them at all at night, and had a white noise app in case they were very vocal (especially after the rain). Never did see one. Oh! And considering it's in the upcountry, no bugs/minimal wildlife, nothing to stress you out!

Marc was awesome. He was a great host and we loved his place. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. I was able to really relax and unwind on our stay with Marc. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful 7 day stay. Our 3 boys (16, 13, and 10) spent hours on the diving board and in the pool. Sandra’s place had everything we needed for beach trips, including beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, cooler and beach towels. I was so happy to have a washing machine to wash out the sandy towels and suits after our beach trips. It was a 5-10 minute trip for Costco,-target and Walmart and a 30-40 minute trip to Hāpuna Beach (don’t miss the Malsada stand on the highway on your way). We would come back to the house to cook supper, swim more in the pool, and watch the sunset from the beautiful yard. We also got a lot of use out of the basketball net in the driveway, and volleyball net in the side yard. Sandra was extremely helpful with all aspects of our stay, including local recommendations. Would definitely stay again if on the Big Island!

Had a really enjoyable few days stay at the house. This is clearly a house with lots of love, history and almost feels like you're staying with family. Lots of character and very traditionally furnished with unique furniture, artwork ect. Very much suits someone looking for a true Hawaiian experience off the tourist trail. The outdoor area is beautiful and the view is incredible. The hot tub is a nice addition and great for star gazing at night. The kitchen is well equipped with all cooking equipment you would need and the bbq outside was a great. We were slightly worried about the lack of a/c but as the sun goes down, you get a lovely cool sea breeze throughout and we wouldn't have needed it anyway. There is loads of wildlife around the house and area, very pieceful. Thank you

Panoramic view was so nice and the location was good to travel around. Kids loved toys and sauces on the pantry and papaya from the tree on the house was amazing. My family had a pleasant time there, everything was peaceful and enjoyable. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Noelani’s house was the perfect home base for all our Big Island adventures. We loved having the main house space and attached guest house for travelling with our 3 kids for their week long school break. The space was beautiful decorated, Hawaiian themed and had everything we needed to enjoy our time on the Big Island (beach towels, beach chairs, etc). It’s easy to see why Noelani’s house books up fast and glad we were able to call it home for the week! Thanks for sharing your home with us! Aloha until next time!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The space was very roomy and perfect for our family. The sunsets on the lanai were magnificent. The welcome basket was a nice surprise! We truly appreciated the beach supplies, including snorkel gear. Great restaurants and beautiful town within walking distance. We highly recommend this space. It’s well worth the price!

While the roosters, frogs, and road noise were louder than expected, the provided ear plugs helped and the stay was comfortable. Kathy gave a nice tour of the property. We made good use of the snorkel gear at Two Step Beach, which is right down the hill and is considered the best snorkeling on the island. Hot tub was great and private. We appreciated the fresh fruit from the property every day. Tina’s bakery stand at the bottom of the driveway was incredible!

We really enjoyed Kathy’s condo. It was close to all of our snorkeling tours. Kathy is a very responsive host and gave great recommendations for food and activities. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Our stay was prefect and incredibly peaceful! it felt like staying with a friend or relative. There were so many wonderful touches. The major draw was the beautiful creek and waterfall and falling asleep with the windows open and the sounds of the jungle. It was tucked away and a wonderful glimpse of local living. A few notes for other travelers: there are other rentals on the property; however, we did not see anyone else besides Darrin upon arrival. Also, this is not one of those sterile, squeaky clean airbnbs that you might be useful. Its definitely super clean but has a "real house" sort of feel. Also, no AC as far as we could tell but it was very cool (and I run hot!) Also, the value for island accommodations was awesome and much appreciated! Darrin was extremely kind to ensure we had a crib for our little ones and even left fresh bananas on our doorstep in the morning - our toddler LOVED opening the door to see this surprise. Oh! and the bed was glorious! Mahalo!

I enjoyed my stay in Kona. This place was exactly as advertised and looked just like the pictures. Thomas was super proactive and responsive to all of my needs. Check in was easy and clear instruction for check in and check out were provided. Amenities included a wide selection of beach items which was fantastic. Location was wonderful with walkable access to several popular but never crowded beaches. Private parking was a plus. I recommend.

we loved our stay, Matt and Rose's place was the perfect getaway for our 'Baby-moon'. the space is so peaceful and so much more beautiful than the pictures let on. we loved it here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. we would stay again in a heartbeat. thanks so much Matt and Rose!

One of the most well-appointed places we've ever stayed. They've really thought of everything. Comfortable bed. Clear and precise driving directions. Incredible assortment of kitchen things if you'll be cooking. Beach equipment. Just so many thoughtful things. We chose it for the proximity to the airport to accommodate our late arrival. Very convenient, only about a 15 minute drive.

This was an amazing place. I wish we had stayed here longer. The space is immaculate, spacious, inviting, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful! Joyce was an incredible host who went above and beyond. Very close to town (beaches, restaurants, and tours). It’s in a suburban neighborhood, but feels remote and is very quiet and private. We will definitely stay here when we return to Hilo!

This condo was so refreshing. Close to town but no road noise! Peaceful and private, it had everything we needed. Immaculately clean. Really nice washer and dryer. Views of the mountains and stars out the back deck were a nice surprise. The beds were so comfy and the toys for our 1 1/2 year old were a huge bonus! She even offered to set up the pack and play for us. Denisa was flexible with an early check in and a late check out! We even locked ourselves out and she was so quick to respond we were right back in in seconds. Thank you Denisa! Definitely will be booking again.

Loved our stay here! Location & views were exactly what we were looking for. Discounted golf rates at the course and access to the pool were awesome! 15 mins from beautiful beaches. The beach towels/chairs/umbrella/ gear etc were a big plus. The place was clean. Host were quick to answer if we had questions. Two things to note- 1. the blinds are not room darkening so when the sun comes up you’ll know it!This was fine for us, bc we were usually up anyway but just something to note! 2. To get to the bathroom you have to go through the room with the bunk beds. Again this didn’t matter for us because no one was staying in the bunk beds. Overall we really enjoyed our stay & would stay again!

This place is exactly as described, quiet, clean, and close to everything in Waikōloa beach. The decor was nice and AC was wonderful. We enjoyed the pool and the kitchen was stocked with all essentials for cooking! One thing cleaning-wise that would have been better is if the floor was mopped… walking around with bare feet, our feet got dirty quickly. However we will definitely be back to visit Carlos’ place.

Lovely condo in a spectacular setting. Kitchen had everything we needed, bed was comfortable and the condo was spacious. We spent most of our time outdoors having adventures, and the condo was a very comfy home base. It was very convenient having the Tropics restaurant within walking distance. We also managed to catch a gorgeous and tasty sunset dinner at the Lava Lava Club.

Excellent location for all you may want to do in Kona. Beautiful view of ocean. All the amenities made our stay extra special. Davide has thought of everything. Sand toys, snorkels, cooler, telescope for dolphin watching, he has it all. The Green Flash Coffee right next store was super convenient to go to for breakfast every morning and was delicious. Would stay again.

place was beautiful! spacious and very well kept. location was great just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the strip down the road. host was responsive and helpful!

March 2025 The location of the unit was great, close to beaches, markets and restaurants. Cathy was easy to get a hold of if any info needed. Unit was comfortable for two couples. Appreciated all the info for site seeing and restaurants.

Beautiful condo right on the water. Had a very well appointed kitchen with good appliances. The deck is a showstopper- lounge chairs and a table and plenty of space. Would definitely rent again. Holly was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly.
