Lymans Bay Hale: Surfer's Paradise - Views Hot Tub

AllisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Huge house and great location. The window air conditioners in each room do a good job of keeping the house cool. The views are great as long as you don’t mind the road noise ( we did not mind.) The parking for the surfers spot is right next door and there can be quite a strong “smoking” smell when you’re hanging out on the patio at times 🤣. Overall this is a great place for a big group to stay!!

Quiet Paradise on Bay w/Aircon

RoseRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This house was in a beautiful setting with gorgeous grounds. it was very well maintained and comfortable. The house has lots of basics in the pantry and condiments. We loved watching sunset from the lanai through the trees or walking 50 ft to the Pier for a Bayside view (with dolphins often making an appearance). Excellent snorkeling at nearby Manini Beach Park (some of us jumped in at the Pier, too) and by kayak at the Cook Monument across the Bay, or at 2-Step, a 5 minute drive down the road. The AC was good but not usually necessary with great ventilation and fans. The bugs are definitely hoping for snacks, so vigilance to keep a tidy house is crucial (but this is to be expected and wasn't a problem). Dawn was very responsive to a few small problems, and when we couldn't get the dryer to work she had a neighbor offer his so we could finish in time to check out (the dryer was a smart dryer and it out smarted us). We really appreciated how Dawn responded so quickly and helpfully!

Tropical Oasis Home with Pool and Steps to Beach

MaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the dream family trip of a lifetime. The kids loved the pool—morning, noon and evening except when we went off on adventures. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of a rocky beach. The house was roomy and well stocked with two large, long dining tables, one indoors and the other on an enclosed porch outdoors. Perfect for family dining. Joe and Anna were lovely hosts, pleasant and informative. We’d definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Steps to Beaches, 2 King Suites, Private Pool, AC

ShannonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an absolutely fabulous time in Kona, and Zhe & Sijie’s place was a huge part of it. It made for an amazing home away from home for our two-week stay. The home was exactly as described and as it appeared in the photos - if anything, it was even more perfect in person. Plenty of living space, the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and lunch at the house each day, and the three bedrooms and bathrooms were a perfect fit for my husband and me, our son and my dad. The elevated deck was perfect for reading in the sun or watching the sunset and then watching the stars come out. The pool is small, but a nice place to relax between activities or at the end of a busy day. The house is also in a very nice neighborhood, very secure and close to a grocery store and quite a few restaurants. Zhe and Sijie were fantastic hosts, super quick to reply to any questions we had, and proactively communicating info about check in and check out. 10/10, highly recommend!!

Oceanfront Home, Kealakekua Bay - Hale Hoʻolana

NicoleRating, 5 stars2 days ago
First of all, the area was amazing!! Manini beach was literally a 2-3 minute walk down the road for great snorkeling (gear is provided, if you need it) with a path for some amazing sunsets. There are a couple of fruit stands in the neighborhood, which was great for my mother’s daily banana stroll. You can see the bay from the amazing lanai that we spent so much time on to watch the snorkelers, kayakers and dolphins. The house itself was great! Split into half, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on either side, separated by an open concept living room and kitchen. The dining room is outside…where else would you want to sit down and eat? There were A/Cs in the bedrooms if you needed them, but the ocean breeze was usually enough for most of my party. There were lots of spices in the cabinets for cooking and some staples leftover from past renters. The long, winding and narrow roads make some great scenery, but also make your trip to anywhere else a bit long. I would definitely stay again.

Kona Surf Snorkel Paradise, Beachfront, Hot Tub

MaggieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This home is in a paradise location. We snorkeled everyday at Kahalu’u Beach Park across the road (we rented gear at Snorkel Bobs down the street.) The out side space/lanai and full sliding doors in the living room were wonderful to enjoy the ocean view. Sleeping space with our group was tricky. The house sleeps 4 couples. We 3 couples and had 3 grown boys. 1 got the extra queen bed. Additional sleeping space (trundle and roll away) was tricky and not comfortable for adult sizes. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The bbq was great to have and clean. There were e-bikes close by. Grocery, shops and many restaurants and beaches within a few minutes.

Exceptional Oceanview Home - Pool & Stunning View

AaronRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had an amazing stay at Lee and Courtney's place. The house was incredible and had everything that my family of five needed (to even include tons of beach/snorkeling gear and beach towels). The house is very convenient to many great beaches and activities on the Kona side of the island. We really enjoyed the lanai and all the amazing outdoor space to include the pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay at this house again if we come back to the Big Island.

Big House with ocean view and private pool in Kona

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Chelsea was out of town yet was immediately responsive to messages dealing with a couple of minor glitches; it helped that the owner lives nearby. Place overall was great. Lack of air conditioning (it was not hot, but the upstairs did warm up in the April afternoons) was offset by the private pool, a better way to cool off than by refrigerating the house. Nice layout for two couples, one upstairs with the larger bedroom and large en suite bath, the other downstairs with two smaller bedrooms and a bath, so we each had good private space. Only drawback was the downstairs rooms seemed a bit enclosed, although all had windows. Nice large lanai and the landscaping around the pool made it feel especially private. Be sure to investigate the pantry and shelves before shopping...the place was very well supplied when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if we're in Kona!

New, Stunning, 3 Bedroom Condo; A/C/Pools/ Hottub

EricRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Wow, just WOW. This should be at the tops of ANY list! Truly the most enjoyable experience we’ve ever had. These superstar hosts have thought of literally EVERYTHING. Every kitchen appliance, cookware, extra linens, cleaning supplies, working vacuum, pristine bathrooms, ALL the goodies for the beach - 4 new snorkel sets, chairs, carry-all bins (!!!!) for your car, towels, boards, umbrella, pickleball sets, 3 different coolers/go-bags…the list goes on. The home Is immaculate, tastefully (and functionally!) appointed, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a single flaw. Their ‘blueprint’ should be the new standard for vacation rentals! The community was quaint and perfect, nestled right above a beautiful bay, and complete with all you need in multiple pools, outdoor cook areas, etc. I traveled with my two kids and my cousins’ family - 3 adults and 4 kids in all. The 3 bedrooms AND 2 bonus beds in the living room were all very comfortable. I can’t say enough about these hosts!!

We had everything we needed.

Walua Oasis 2/2 Private Pool

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our group absolutely loved our stay. The host was extremely responsive and the pictures don't even do the place justice. We loved the view and relaxing by the pool until it was time to hit the beach. The location is ideal; it is not too far from Kona (8 minute drive) but you feel like you're in a jungle oasis.

Tropical paradise, heated pool, ocean views, AC

KaylaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I recently stayed at Justin’s Airbnb in Kona, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, Justin was incredibly welcoming, offering great recommendations for local activities and making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a perfect island retreat. One of the highlights was the pool – it was pristine and provided the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the island. The outdoor area was fantastic, with plenty of seating, and we enjoyed several evenings watching the sunset from the lanai. The location in Kona was ideal, with easy access to beaches, dining, and shopping, yet the house felt like a private oasis. We felt truly at home during our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. I highly recommend Justin’s place for anyone looking to experience the best of Kona in comfort and style!

Kahaluu Bay Get-Away

KindraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Amazing! We felt right at home. The perks were the beach/snorkle gear, outdoor shower, A/C in bedrooms, stellar pool, sunset view and closness to the best snorkling beach ($12 if you park). I recommend bringing water shoes or booties for snorkling. We went every morning just cause it was so easy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals and I appreciated the drip coffee pot in addition to the pod machine so we could enjoy local Kona coffee. The aloe garden was a lifesaver as well as the washer and dryer so we could pack less. The geckos are frequent visitors even indoors but my kids loved them and they leave you alone. The KTA grocery store is 4 min drive up the road so no need to buy anything ahead of time, til you see what they have- it was helpful to have the condiments, spices and oils etc. Jaima was super accommodating when last minute we had to change our sleeping arrangements and she provided a fold up mattress. I hope to be back soon and book here again!!!

Oceanfront Kona Beach House

ShayRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
From the moment we arrived, this stunning beachfront house in Hawaii felt like a dream come true. Tucked away on a pristine stretch of ocean, the property offers the perfect balance of comfort and that laid-back island magic. Waking up each morning to the sound of waves was a highlight in itself. The views are simply unreal – endless ocean and vibrant sunsets. Whether you're lounging on the beach chairs, snorkeling at a nearby beach, or watching the stars from the hot tub, every moment feels like a postcard. The house is spacious, airy, and filled with natural light. I really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen with spices and basic cooking necessities. Peng also has a supply of beach supplies including snorkel masks, coolers, beach chairs, umbrella, etc which came in so handy. Such a magical place I hope to come back to someday!

Kona Unique Natural Acreage Home

KenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My family had a very enjoyable week at Sasan's house in Kona... the location was somewhat remote and the grounds around the house were meticulously maintained... the house was roomy and well laid-out... there was no air conditioning, but opening the windows in the evening provided a nice breeze to keep things comfortable... the kitchen was very well equiped - practically everything you could need to cook at home, and the condition of the pots/pans/cooking utensils were very good - not all worn out and gross as we have encountered at other rentals... lastly the view off of the main balcony was beautiful - very nice atmosphere to have your coffee or an evening coctail... We look forward to returning again to Sasan's house and the big island... Mahalo..!
