Marvellous apartment at Monterosso

In the heart of the historical centre of Monterosso al Mare, only 100 metres from the sea located inside a typical historical building you can find the incomparable "BELLAMBRA: first class rooms and vacation apartment". The inside of the building has been completely restructured in 2012/13: On the second floor are four beautiful double/triple bedrooms. On the first floor a spectacular apartment has been created which can sleep up to eight people. The apartment is designed and furnished using a fusion of traditional Ligurian and modern Italian design: original chestnut wood ceilings are combined with creamwhite terracotta tiling. The elegant bathroom is decorated with Bisazza mosaic tiles and effective LED lighting shines throughout. The built-in kitchen has been had-made by Liguraian craftsmen. The apartment is furnished with a large double bed, a bunk bed, two single beds in an extra room, a sofa bed, another large sofa, WIFI, two TV, air conditioning, heating and hairdryer. The kitchen is furnished with a dishwasher, a large fridge and freezer. There is a parking avaiable nearby in Monterosso's car park (payment). Children are gratis. The apartment is situated in a quiet, sunny , pedestrian street. On one side the windows look out onto a romantic square with fountain and old plane trees and on the other side the view is of a garden filled with lemon trees. A few metres from the apartment you can find excellent resturants serving local specialities, typical bars and a variety of shops (food, ice-cream, hand-made gifts and pottery, ...), the newly designed park and main square, the departure point for boat trips in the Cinque Terre, the bus stop for the local bus and the spectacular beaches of Monterosso al Mare. KiaOra (Hello), Francesca’s little home was cute, detailed, pristinely clean, perfectly located in Monterosso and appeared newly renovated. Love the little personal touches, like bottled water in the fridge on arrival, beach towels to use, proper shampoo and conditioner, detergents for the Washing Machine and even make up wipes and house slippers! This home away from home was the perfect abode to rest and relax in after trekking and sightseeing in the Cinque Terre. The pictures posted of this home are exactly what you’ll see. Although we could hear the residents at times from above, (it’s not sound proof) it wasn’t a problem. Francesca was prompt to respond, was amazingly helpful and allowed for an earlier check-in, as it was not occupied. Grazie Mille Francesca

Laura is an excellent host - she couldn't do enough for us and gave us so much useful information. we had a slight problem with the electricity and hot water which was dealt with quickly. Her communication and response time are excellent. The apartment is small but clean and comfortable, and well placed for everything.

Blanca’s airbnb was fantastic, right in the centre of Riomaggiore with an amazing balcony view and equipped with all the necessities. Blanca also organised for a cohost to meet us at the train station and take us to the apartment which was a huge help. Would highly recommend a stay here!

I had a wonderful stay at Valentina's place in Lerici. It's a cute cottage in the garden, recently refurbished, and very calm. The location is also great, you can walk to the centre of the village or take a bus to La Spezia. Highly recommendable :)

Enchanting and Strategic location for visiting the 5 Terre, Quaratica is a small village 10 minutes from La Spezia nestled in the countryside, where you can relax after the intense daily trips that this beautiful region of Italy offers... from the terrace that faces the view of the Apuan Alps you can see the sunrise every morning...and it's just fantastic... the accommodation is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need to feel at home, last but not least the Host Marisa, also supported by her son Francesco, know how to make you feel like one of the family with their care and responsiveness, a highly recommended place to always have beautiful experiences to remember. We just spent 12 days at Lucio and Marie's. We particularly appreciated their warm welcome, kindness and small touches that really touched us, we felt at home. The apartment and terrace (not overlooked) are larger than in the photos and the apartment is clean and perfect for 3 people. It is located in the owners' villa with a separate entrance in a quiet and residential area surrounded by lemon trees, flowers and greenery while being close to the city center (20 min walk), bus stops, shops and the train station for the Cinque Terre. Street parking is free of charge. We'll be back without hesitation!

This home base was an excellent location to explore all of the Cinque Terre. Montorosso was by far our favorite village out of all 5. It is nice that this home is an easy walk from the train station. Also great to have Il Gigante just steps from the door and a sweet little beach right there. There are a number of delicious resaurants to choose from. Be sure to enjoy the beach boardwalk area and also head inland to more amazing restaurants and shops. Totally different vibe and neighborhood. Miky was a lovely fine-dining experience and a great value for the experience. (Make a reservation a day or two in advance.) We hiked the entire Cinque Terre - a bucket-list experience for us. It was very easy to hop on the train and go from village to village. Our host was very responsive anytime we reached out to him. The home was comfortable and clean. We didn't spend much time there other than to sleep though.
