Loved the house and location. So peaceful and quiet. Great porch to sit and read or listen to music. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well!

We spent a week here for our kids’ spring break and had a wonderful time! The condo was immaculate and the hosts were incredibly kind and proactive in their communications. We loved the screened patio in particular for morning coffee and afternoon reading. The area is beautiful with tons of biking trails, beach and pool access just outside the condo, and a short drive to great restaurants, shops, mini golf, and other fun spots. The beach is amazing, with the tides revealing a unique ecosystem of local sea and beach life. We saw a bald eagle on the beach, too! Highly recommend for a relaxing, fun, and family friendly stay.

We spent five nights at Harbor River Cottage, and it's even more charming than the photos! The cottage provides the perfect Lowcountry experience, with beautiful furnishings and artwork and a peaceful location with gorgeous views of the marsh. The sofa and bed are wonderfully comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the screened porch is delightful. We loved watching egrets flying over the marsh and enjoyed the songbirds every morning from the screened porch. It's a birder's paradise! Sue and Jerry greeted us warmly when we arrived and thoughtfully supplied us with tasty breakfast items, fresh flowers, and Duraflame logs for the fireplace. We were lucky to meet their adorable dog Gus, too. :-)) We've stayed several times in the area, and loved this location for the proximity to Hunting Beach and the easy drive to Port Royal and Beaufort. Our only regret is that didn't take advantage of the fire pit and hammock by the marsh. Next time!

What a wonderful place to stay! It is tight quarters, so be friendly with those you travel with :) but this place has everything you need from cooking utensils to extra blankets. We never wanted for anything. Arlene and Nikki were quick to respond and made sure we had all the info we needed to make the trip smooth and convenient. We would 10/10 stay here again! The closeness to the beach and pool was the icing on top. Thanks for sharing your place, can’t wait to return :)
