Lovely home, private, beautifully decorated and cozy. We stayed as a stop-over on our way to holiday destination. Will definitely stay there again! Lorna is a great host!

Although brief, we had a really lovely stay at Jean-Luc and Marie-Claire's, we felt right at home in the old farmhouse and enjoyed the walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is huge, super clean with comfy beds and a beautiful and peaceful garden. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The house is huge. iIt looks tiny from the front side but everything is very large. 4 large bedrooms , 3 with big bathroom. very large kitchen, living room, entrence etc. Communucation with Jan theco-host was very easy and fast. He and his family live just next door. He gave us great insider information. We were welcomed with fresh bread. Definitely higly recommrndable place. Thanks a lot

I absolutely the house, the restaurant onsite was amazing! The private outdoor pool area was a massive plus. I loved the aesthetic of the house, loads of personality and made me feel right at home. The host was really friendly, I will recommend to anyone staying in the area

We had a lovely stay celebrating a friend's birthday. One suggestion would be to equip the kitchen with a few more platters and larger serving bowls to enable cooking and serving larger groups of people. Also perhaps some lamps in the lounge to create more ambience. It was either very bright lights while eating at the dining table / sitting in the lounge or in the dark with just the kitchen lights as lighting. Other than that we had a lovely stay and highly recommend your establishment for a comfortable stay for large families.

A super affordable 5 sleeper with enough space for everyone. Main bedroom sleeps 4 so more suitable for families or friends sharing. A sparkling pool and a braai area with some wood supplied. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk provided. Solar powered so not affected by LS. An aircon in the lounge plus wifi and TV streaming services for those hot days where exploring would be uncomfortable. The shower was great with plenty hot water. Ashlea is a very friendly hostess and on site in the main house in case of problems - although we had none. Seamless check in and out and we will definitely be back to Winemakers when we're in the area again!

I couldn’t have asked for a better spot for a solo retreat. The cottage hade everything I needed and nothing beats the peacefulness of the wide-open Karoo. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

As an artist who travels alot accommodation especially the bed and environment are important to me. Sleep is so needed when touring and this spot is a gem. The space was chilled and cozy, super neat and well taken care of, so I’ll definitely book this spot again. Madea is wonderful, very kind, sweat and an incredible host, she made sure we had all we needed and we’re settle and happy. And by the time we left Madea was like family. We stayed at Marisha's place for a few nights and really enjoyed it. The house is very spacious, functional and has great views. It is not too far out of Oudtshoorn. Communication with Marisha was great and she had plenty of suggestions for us to do. Nothing was an issue and she made sure we had a good time. We did the touristy stuff, Meerkats tour, Hillgate Ostrich show, trip to Prince Albert, etc and really enjoyed it. We definitely recommend this place!

Excellent stay! Very cool house. Had everything we needed. Frans gave us great recommendations for dinner. Pool was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back, highly recommend!

Incredibly peaceful and calm mountain-hiding experience in the Karoo, with all the facilities and necessities you'd need, and more. Thoughtful attention to detail and kind and responsive host. Definitely recommended for those that want to escape the city buzz!
