Great place to stay - beautiful part of the country

Amazing property in a stunning location. Very peaceful and perfect for walkers. The property was absolutely spotless and very well equipped for self catering. Really easy check in. Surroundings are picturesque. My parents had a wonderful stay.

Simply Perfect 5* 100% recommended. Very accommodating host, confirming reservation at very short notice. House was immaculately clean. Has all the necessary household items you could ever wish to have. Plenty of towels available. Great outdoor space and garden perfect for drying washing on the brabantia. Private drive, essential for us as we didn't want hire car damaged during our stay. Locals shops including Post office, pub, takeaways within walking distance. Tram easy accessible to get into Manchester and Ashton Under Lyne. Ticked all our boxes, and will definitely return if staying in this area again in the future.

Georgie is a great host very helpful and full of information. The accommodation is perfect has everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. very clear on things to do and places to visit like attractions, bar's and restaurants local public transport and even dog friendly places and walks. We had a wonderful stay at Dove Cottage! Located within the gates of the main house the cottage felt very secure and private! Susan was super helpful with local recommendations and what pubs etc were dog friendly! Upon arrival there was a loaf of bread, butter, some oat cakes, crisps, cookies, some cheese and milk waiting for us which was such a nice touch!! We brought our dog and Susan had even left some lovely treats for her!! For anyone wanting easy access to the Peak District, a cosy place to stay with the most lovely hosts, we would definitely recommend Dove Cottage!!

Excellent property, fantastic location, great local pub, lovely walks! Jo was an excellent host. The one hiccup was checking in, we didn't have access to the code for the key lock on arrival. The app said contact the 'host', so we did. The problem was, 'Jo' was on her hols too, so not immediately responsive. Jo said this was an issue she had not experienced before, but was able to sort the problem immediately. We couldn't have asked for more than that. Thank you for letting us stay at your home Jo.

A beautiful loft apartment located in the centre of Bollington. spotlessly clean, welcoming and warm. The host Nick was very helpful & available and willing to offer advice on the local area. The beds were so comfy and cozy with high quality bed linen. we would highly recommend the loft to anyone wanting to explore the Cheshire countryside.

Perfect for our weekend. The accommodation was perfect, in fact we were taken back with how there cupboards were full off useful things…. Condiments, sauces, toiletries and that’s just a few I can mention. Appreciated the milk, bread, butter, nice gesture and makes a difference to some places who don’t offer that. Host also helped us out when our car broke down whilst we were there and went above and beyond to help sort it out for us. Overall the place was lovely, more than I actually expected, clean, tidy and perfect. Would definitely stay again if ever visiting Wigan. Thank you

The place was exactly as described—clean, and very comfortable. And accommodated for everything needed for a short stay. The location was close to everything I needed. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the host was responsive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay. I’ll gladly book again the next time I’m in the area!

We were visiting Buxton for 2 shows at the Opera House & the apartment is perfectly placed for this, being just a few minutes walk away, also the Pavilion Gardens and loads of places to eat & drink. Apartment is beautifully furnished and very well-equipped with pretty, sunny little cottage-style garden to front. The main bedroom is lovely, really comfortable bed. Our friend stayed in the basement bedroom and did comment that it was cold BUT he was very warm and comfortable once in bed. Wish we had stayed longer, if only to take advantage of the huge selection of dvds and books 😊. Thankyou, Heather, Kim and Lorna for a really great (too short) stay.

Chris was a welcoming and friendly host. Her place was spotlessly clean and perfect for a two person stay. We loved the hot tub and the view of the field and hills. Great to be able to access the countryside right from the cabin. Pubs within strolling distance - a great choice for a peaceful break.

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.

Great place for a visit up to Manchester. Easily accessible off the motorway, easy to locate. Comfortable for both of us, just what we wanted. Highly recommended

Gina’s apartment was wonderful and in a fantastic location. It was spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of toiletries, cleaning supplies, towels, and more. We also appreciated the thoughtful provision of basic breakfast supplies, including milk. The internet worked perfectly, and there was a smart TV with free satellite channels and apps like Netflix, which we could easily log into. Gina was an exceptional host, offering great communication and a warm, friendly attitude. We even had a lovely chat before we left, and it felt like we’d known each other for years! I only wish I could have stayed longer to continue the conversation.
