Vacation rentals with breakfast in Praia Formosa

Wir haben uns in der „Villa“ sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Terrasse war ein Traum und das Zimmer verfügte über eine Klimaanlage – nach einer Wanderung wirklich angenehm! Zudem hatten wir stets warmes Wasser. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der Unterkunft ist absolut top. Ein Hinweis: Für die Unterkunft ist ein Auto erforderlich.

Wszystko było świetne. Czysto i klimatycznie. Piękny ogródek z hamakiem. Super opcją jest śniadanie w cenie. Blisko spacerkiem do centrum. Parking dostępny na ulicy przy domu. Bardzo nam się podobało. Dziękujemy za miły pobyt.

My stay with Marlize and Cori was absolutely wonderful. Marlize even picked me up from Praia Formosa at 8 PM at check-in day, which I’m truly grateful for — such a kind gesture! The place was spotless, and breakfast was provided, which was a lovely touch. There’s a fantastic view from the balcony, and two beautiful trees that Marlize planted herself years ago — they’ve grown tall and strong, and add so much charm to the space. The location is great, especially for those traveling by car. I didn’t have a car, but I still walked a lot and really enjoyed it — everything felt accessible and peaceful. Everything was simply delightful. Thanks a lot again!

Paul et Janett sont très accueillants, très réactifs pour la communication et sont de très bons conseils pour les activités à faire à Madeire ou des restaurants de qualité. La chambre et la salle de bain sont spacieuses et impeccables, tout le nécessaire est disponible. Les petits déjeuners proposés par les hôtes sont délicieux et copieux. Nous avons été heureux de passer une nuit chez Paul et Janett. Merci pour tout !

Le logement de Lili est très agréable, bien placé par rapport au centre de Santana ( centre ville à proximité, centre commercial ) et des départs de balades. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Lili mais elle a toujours été présente par SMS. très bon moment dans cet hébergement de la magnifique île de Madère

John et Sara sont très accueillants et amicaux. Ils portent beaucoup d’attention à ce que leurs invités se sentent à l’aise dans le logement et nous ont offert un petit panier d’accueil très apprécié ☺️ Nous avons pu partager quelques discussions très intéressantes et sur des sujets divers et variés. Prazeres est très paisible et proche de plusieurs lieux d’intérêt pour les amateurs de nature. Nous recommendons les yeux fermés !

We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed staying in Antonio and Jeorge's place.We felt more at home even than our own home.Everything was absolutely perfect.We wanted to stay for the entire duration of our vacation,but unfortunately the rooms were booked for the last 2 days.We left crying and so upset to go elsewhere.The house,amenities,the stunning view,home grown fruit and veggies are something that we never pick from the garden,but purchase in the shop and not to mention-the most tasty eggs ever we had for breakfast.We also met lovely like-minded people staying in the other room.I want to single out the outstanding hospitality of our hosts and want to thank them for making our vacation so memorable.We will definitely return,many times! Noted some silly comment from someone,that the house is in a steep road.If you cannot drive on steep roads,perhaps either learn how to or choose another country,as not many flat roads here in Madeira!

Amazing breakfast in the morning! We only stayed one night we arrived late and left for our hike and camping early the next day, so didn’t really get the chance to enjoy the room, but it is very well located, right next to the natural pools.

Amazing views! So nice to wake up to the Sunrise right outside our patio. It was also nice that the restaurant was walkable and the hot tub was an added bonus. The rooms were pretty basic but made up for it with the incredible views! The service at the restaurant is top notch and the skewers are so tasty!

Krásné ubytování s výhledem na oceán. Pohodlné postele, krásně se nám tam spalo. Hostitel příjemný, okamžitě reagoval na vzniklé mimořádné situace. Děkujeme za pobyt a určitě můžeme doporučit.

Jardim do mar ist ein wunderschöner ruhiger Ort mit kleinen Gassen. Das Auto wird am Parkplatz abgestellt.Zu Fuß sind es ca. 5 min zu Cecilias Guesthouse - in jardim do Mar gibt es keine Straßen😃. Frühstück ist inklusive, super lecker und mehr als ausreichend - Körnerbrötchen, Dunkles Toast, Käse, Kochschinken, Kuchen, Marmelade, Kanne Kaffee/Tee und Cecilias hausgemachten Saft. vor Ort gibt es nur einen sehr kleinen Lebensmittelladen, also besser vorher einkaufen oder sich von Cecilia bekochen lassen. Zimmer ist wie auf den Bildern. Küche ist inklusive, ausgestattet mit notwendigen Kochutensilien. Meerblick. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum und wird mit anderen Gästen, meist Surfern, geteilt. In der Nähe gibt es den Rundwanderweg via Prazeres nach Paul do Mar. Jardim do Mar ist ein idyllisches Dörfchen mit kleinen Gassen und vielen farbfrohen Pflanzen bewachsen. Wer Ruhe sucht und bei Meeresrauschen einschlafen möchte ist hier genau richtig! Obrigado für Alles Cecilia!!

Peaceful location with unreal views. Ideal to spend some days in a quiet area with a car

Wir waren 10 Tage in Funchal und haben mit der Unterkunft den perfekten Standort in Funchal erwischt. Wir konnten zu Fuß alles erreichen und waren trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück ist köstlich und die Mitarbeiter im Se Boutique Hotel sehr freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

The place is immaculate, sustainable, and a great base for exploring the island. #### The House Located between the mountains and the sea, this beautifully restored house is just twenty minutes from Funchal. It’s peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The main house has a suite, five bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room, plus a cozy “palheiro” studio. The rustic decor and shared spaces make it feel like home, offering a slow living experience. #### The Grounds The garden leads to a patio with comfy seating and great views. The pool is a highlight, surrounded by idyllic, tranquil nature. The staff are welcoming and make you feel like family. Fresh veggies growing around add a special touch. It's remote without feeling isolated. Solar dos Reis is a top-notch, peaceful place with breathtaking views and wonderful people. We can’t wait to return!

What a beautiful location in Saõ Jorge. The views of the sea, from the balcony, were spectacular and the room itself was freshly decorated and very comfortable. The whole accommodation has plenty to do, including a swimming pool and pool table. The breakfast is also good with more than enough choice to keep you going for the morning! Nearby, there are some fantastic walks and places to visit, including a water saw mill, ruins, traditional buildings and incredible miradoros of both the sea and the mountains. I highly recommend Teresa’s place for a peaceful stay and in such a great location. Teresa too is delightful!

Dziękuję Costa i Sitska za przyjazne przyjęcie. Dzięki ich wskazówkom dotarłem bez problemu a gdy miałem problem z lokalizacją czegokolwiek, dostawałem precyzyjne wskazówki. Pomogli mi także, gdy nie umiałem odnaleźć małej wioski na kolejne dni pobytu na wyspie - Costa omówił po portugalsku wszystko telefonicznie z właścicielką nowego postoju! Na miejscu jest dobrze zaopatrzona kuchnia i możliwość prania. Gospodarze zawsze z uśmiechem i życzliwością towarzyszyli moim planom zwiedzania, byli bardzo wyrozumiali wobec mojego słabego jeżyka angielskiego. Polecam gorąco każdemu to miejsce oddalone tylko dwa kroki od centrum, więc jest spokojnie i można odpocząć.

Wir waren 3 Tage bei Nelson und Paul und wären liebend gern noch länger geblieben! Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön in den grünen Bergen Madeiras mit Blick auf das Meer. Es ist sehr liebevoll von den beiden eingerichtet und vor allem der große Garten bietet mit seinen verschiedenen Sitz- und Ess-Plätzen viele Möglichkeiten zum genießen. Vorallem das leckere Frühstück mit frischem Rührei und regionalen Marmeladen hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter und kommen sehr gerne wieder! Vielen Dank nochmal.

Мені надзвичайно сподобалось перебування в номері. Нас кормили смачними сніданками і навіть зробили сніданок завчасно, коли наш літак був дуже раннім. Такого відношення треба ще пошукати. Дякуємо!

Hôte tres accueillant et a l'écoute de nos besoins ou d informations diverses. Buffet du petit déjeuner varié et gourmand. Merci a toute l'équipe !

La maison et le jardin sont superbes. Notre chambre dans la maison principale était très confortable, lumineuse, jolie, et sans humidité comme souvent dans les logements de l île et très calme. Le petit déjeuner était très généreux, bon, les hôtes se retrouvent dans la pièce principale, ce qui est très sympa pour échanger. Le village et les restaurants sont à 10 mn à pied, 15 mn au retour car ça grimpe! Je recommande le surf lodge, mon préféré de mon séjour à Madère!

I booked this place as my trip to Madeira was very last minute and there weren't many options in my budget. However, I was very pleased with the room and Margarida was very pleasant and accommodating. The location is a little further out of the heart of Funchal, but is an easy 30-minute walk downhill. The walk back on the other hand was quite the challenge due to how steep some of the hills are on the island but nothing a cheap Bolt or taxi can't mitigate. Highly recommended, I would definitely consider staying there again when I return to the island.

Wir glauben, es ist das schönste Fleckchen Erde auf Madeira. Der Tag beginnt mit einem tollen Frühstück. Jeden Tag gibt es neben selbst gemachtem Brot, eine neue Besonderheit, wie z.B. selbstgemachte Crêpes. Auch extra Wünsche, wie weich gekochte Eier, werden erfüllt. Nach aufregenden Erkundungstagen auf der Insel mit super Tips von Yves, kann man den Abend auf der tollen Terrasse mit dem ich glaube einzigartigsten, individuellen Pool und einer atemberaubenden Aussicht genießen. Man fühlt sich einfach nur wohl. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Yves und Julie geben sich die größte Mühe, dass es ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt wird. Wenn wir nochmal nach Madeira kommen, dann wieder zu Yves und Julie, wir werden es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank für Alles !
