The place is great! Amazing location, Walking distance from 2 “natural” pools and a very nice promenade where you can watch an amazing sunset. Right across from a shopping mall and super market. Practical access to a great sized parking spot. Very fast wifi (I managed to work remotely through several video calls without a glitch) and amazing ocean views. Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely apartment with amazing views from the balcony. Spotlessly clean. Lots of extras, hairdryer etc. Kitchen very well kitted out. Good selection of local shops restaurants and bars/cafes in walking distance. Beach close by all with lifeguards. Great selection of activities on the doorstep particularly diving Easy to catch bus to and from Funchal , wanted to do lots more but ran out of time. will definitely be back.

The host is very kind, helpful, and responsive. Everything in the apartment was exactly like the photos and the apartment was very clean when I arrived. The views are spectacular and the neighborhood is very quiet.

It is a nice apartment in the perfect location. Plaza Madeira (shopping mall) is literally around the corner. Everything in Funchal is within walking distance. And they also provided a bed and bowls for our dog. :)

The apartment was quiet and comfortable, and the location to Old Town was fantastic!

Communication with Luís and Joanna was prompt and informative. The unit was light, airy, private and very central within Funchal. It is spacious and catered really well for our needs. Very nice place, swimming pool was great and very spacious and clean appartement. The dogs barking in the morning and the rooster was little downside.

We had a lovely stay at the place! Spacious, quiet and well-equipped apartment. Fabio was very responsive, accommodating and friendly! Beautiful terrace with views to enjoy Funchal, in short I recommend it without hesitation!

Perfect room within walking distance from the old and new town!

We were so relieved to be able to find a place within walking distance to the NYE fireworks. This place worked out perfectly, and while it was expensive, considering the size and popularity of the event, it was very affordable. It was very easy to get into the main door and it was nice that there was a lobby area with some local wine and snacks to sample along with chairs and a pool table. Our room was easy to find and we got comfortable quickly. There was so much space and everything was clean! We also had a nice view from the living room window. The only struggle was that we had a rental car and just wanted to drop off our bags before returning our car. The road is narrow and it was challenging to pull over to just run in quickly. We managed it, but it was tricky. I'd recommend getting dropped off, if possible. Marcia was helpful and accommodating, but slow to reply, and sometimes needed a second message, but don't give up. The place is great!

Highly recommended! Very spacious and convenient apartment, offering a stunning view on the ocean. The apartment offers all necessary amenities, like washing machine, coffee machinę and a free parking space nearby. Great location, close to the old town, restaurants, cafes, shops, port. Great contact with the owners.

The location of the apartment is great. The port and old town of Funchal are also within walking distance. There is a supermarket nearby for meals. The apartment was very clean and the size was ideal for two people! By rental car you can quickly get out of town to explore the rest of the island.

I really loved my stay here – everything was super clean, the apartment was beautiful, and the surroundings were lovely too, with a great view. The host was amazing and very helpful, always willing to accommodate our needs. I would definitely love to come back!

Quinta Torrinha was above and beyond our expectations. The grounds and property are absolutely stunning, the view and location is phenomenal, the accommodations made us feel right at home, and breakfast each morning was superb. I cannot sing its praises enough. The staff made us feel right at home and were always at the ready with fantastic recommendations for things to do and places to dine. Whether you want to explore Madeira, or simply take in the sun and relax poolside, you will not regret booking a room or an apartment here. It is state of the art, beautifully decorated, well-designed, but still has the restored charm of the original Quinta. There are many nooks and crannies to get lost in and admire. This is by far the best Airbnb experience I've had, and not simply because of the gorgeous estate, but because the hosts were gracious, kind, and made sure we could enjoy our vacation without a care in the world!

Stayed for 6 nights in Madeira, Funchal downtown at this place, which is well located and close to everything desired (grocery shops, shopping mall, restaurants, beaches/sea side). Communication is flawless with the hosts, they use Whats-App for even smoother communications. We arrived early, but it was still possible to check-in before 4PM. Overall we had an amazing stay in a well equipped apartment at a very central location. Both the apartment and the hosts are recommended if you wish to have a worry free and comfortable stay in Funchal :)
