Three Wells Farm

LiamRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Ali was amazing from the off, answering all of my queries and always helpful. Booked this as a gift for the family (23) and it was perfect ! Plenty of space for everyone. The industrial size kitchen was perfect. Personally we could have done with some more oven space due to there being so many of us, but we will look to take some extras next time we book. Will definitely stay here again. The bar was a lovely touch with lots of lovely space to relax. Beautiful surroundings and lots to do close by. Supermarkets just a short drive down the road which was super handy for the duration we were there. Requested a later checkout last minute and Ali was happy to accommodate. Honestly, such an amazing place and memories made that will last a lifetime. The whole family loved it! Thank you !

Homely Bungalow in Rhayader

SarahRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Nami was a wonderful host. She accommodated our (indoor) cats upfront and when we added on my sister and brother-in-law she was super quick to respond and said it was no problem at all. The neighbourhood was really quite and super close by our family members, who were able to come over Christmas morning briefly before we all headed out to the main event. We would definitely stay here again in future.

A beautiful place, exceeded our expectations. We booked in order to go to the Hay festival, but were so glad we made time to explore around Treberydd, amazing house and garden and easy access to footpaths, lake and pretty church. Hafod has everything we needed, plus comfy beds and tasteful decor Lambs, goats and alpacas a bonus! Sally and Hugh are great hosts, would definitely recommend.

Tranquility

Dawn LouiseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our first stay at an airb+b, and we were overjoyed with our accommodation. It really is a home from home. The house is stunning, with all areas really well thought about. From the tv room, the snug with the real fire, to the well equipped kitchen. It's definitely a place to relax, forget your worries and recharge your batteries. The views are wow and particularly nice when dining. We were just in awe. We had rain on and off which didn't bother us, as our surroundings were wonderful, but listening to it whilst sitting by the log burner, playing scrabble was lovely, There's walks in all directions which our dogs loved, and things to do a short drive away. We went to lake Vyrnwy and did the nature trail. We did get one day that was really sunny and warm, so we had a bbq. Again the views whilst doing this are priceless. I can't emphasise enough just how peaceful here is. It was just what we needed and will most definitely be back in the future. Thank you John and Elsie.

The Old Smithy, country retreat

nAyeAhRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely stay in the Smithy! The owner created a wonderful place with many original features, and the accommodation was spotless clean. Dominique and her family are kind hosts, very helpful and reachable if needed. The market town Llanidloes is just a five minutes drive away, where one can find a superb bakery and shop for local products. All in all, a very good position to explore Mid-Wales and the bordering regions. Peaceful and calm, a truly beautiful place. Don't forget to book a tour at the Welsh Mountain Cider!

Brecon Beacons Getaway for Two

CharlotteRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I loved everything about this place, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect. The bath and shower are wonderful and so is the soap and shower gel and linens available. I loved the eco friendly toilet paper too. Two points to note: there was no chopping board I could see? Fortunately most of my food was already prepared so it was not a big deal. And I believe it is the hot water tank that makes a noise intermittently? So, if you're a light sleeper like me, you'll need ear plugs despite being in very quiet and peaceful countryside. I loved my stay here it was very special and I would stay again when visiting the brecons!

Waen Farm House

DeniseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
we had ana amazing stay at this house. Only issue we had on arrival was there were alot of flies (but the house is on a working farm so I suppose it is to be expected) we did find some fly deterants in the draw which eventually got rid of most of them. The hot tub was great but does take a while to get to the right temperature so would advise filling and lighting as soon as you arrive. Would definatley return x

Beautiful cottage next to Lake Bala and lovely hosts. Nice village 10 mins walk away and a reasonable drive to bottom of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Only disappointment—adjacent to quite a busy road.

Cosy Georgian lakeside cottage near Bala

HettyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A peaceful and relaxing stay with beautiful scenery and plenty of walks near by which was perfect for us. Bala is just a few minutes drive away which has all the amenities you'd need for a short or long stay. We took our fairly reactive dog with us and she settled in right away and slept soundly through the night. We cooked a roast on the first night and the kitchen was well equipped for this 🙂 Wifi was good in the lounge and we loved the DVD collection! The bedroom was downstairs and the bathroom upstairs, but this didnt bother us at all! Just something to bare in mind for those who aren't as abled. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting a break from the hustle and bustle and for those who love walking/water activities 😁

The Dairy, Collfryn Farm Cottages

Really lovely and spacious house. We felt very much at home in this very well-equipped place. Superbly comfy large beds! We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the late afternoon sun. Very peaceful with a view of an orchard and field. The front door is on a sun trap courtyard planted with a herb garden. For the cooler evenings the wood burner stove warmed the place through. We had a great time getting away from it all!
