Rose Cottage is a stone built property built around 1830. The floors upstairs are all planked Elm and the downstairs areas are Flagstone flooring. The beamed ceilings and inglenook mean the property exudes character but with all the mod cons, including high speed internet. The cottage was recently upgraded with a Hand- painted kitchen with built in Dishwasher and fridge. Work surfaces are Kashmir white granite. The front garden is quite private & the bench is a perfect spot for a cup of tea.

Our cosy but contemporary 4 * graded Mill Cottage is over 180 yrs old. Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. You will love it in this quiet, friendly village. Easy access to everything. Surrounded by Mountains, Canals, Lakes, Market Towns and Activity Centres. Two local pubs and a shop in walking distance. Great place for couples or a small family having a King Size bedroom and a Day bed on bedroom/landing. Just be aware you have to walk through this bedroom to access the main bedroom.

The cottage is located just out of the centre of Hay opposite the beautiful St Mary's Church. It is slightly quieter here than in the heart of the town but is still only a 5 minute walk into the centre. It is very easy to access the river walks, simply taking the path to the right of the church. The cottage is full of character with wooden beams, a wood-burning stove, the original fireplace in the bedroom, wooden flooring throughout the downstairs, and a beautiful south-facing garden.

This one bedroom cottage consists of one double bed, one single bed and also has one very comfy sofa! With the Brecon Beacons on your doorstep there is plenty to do including lots of gardens, castles and mountains to visit. A car is ideal to get around although there is a local bus stop close to the house with a service bus travelling to llandeilo or Llandovery. The nearest railway station is Llangadog.
