Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. L' appartamento dista km 5 da Como, km 2 da Torno, km 40 da Milano, km 38 da Lugano. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Sehr schönes, gemütliches und sauberes Bergloft mit einzigartigen Charme und mega toller Aussicht von der schönen Terrasse auf den Lago die mezzola und die Berge. Ich wäre am liebsten dort geblieben 😊. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Renata und Giancarlo sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Giancarlo hat uns mit seinem Auto zum Wandern auf den Berg gefahren. Super schöne Wandermöglichkeiten! Mit der Fähre lässt sich der Lago Como gut erkunden. Am Lago di mezzola gibt es einen schönen Badestrand mit tollem Kiosk. Ich hoffe sehr, dass ich einmal wiederkommen kann.

Es ist ein wunderbares ruhiges und privates Haus am Rand des Ortes von Palanzo mit Blick auf den See und die Berge. Die beiden großen Fenster schauen auf die üppigen grünen Terrassen gegenüber. Die Qualitäten des Ortes und des alten kleinen Hauses wurden mit großem Können zu einem harmonischen Ganzen neu gestaltet. Wir haben uns hier sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Wonderful private and gorgeous retreat high up on the hillside. RENT A CAR. We did, but only last minute and initially had planned to uber to and from the Airbnb both for arrival and departure as well as just day trips; this would have been a mistake, it is 12-14 minutes up the hill from the town. If you have a rental car and are comfortable driving up steep roads, it is a fun adventure and the views make it well worth the trek. The space itself is second to none. Gorgeous pool with million dollar views, several levels of terraces with sun chairs, outdoor eating areas, and the home itself is inviting and comfortable.

Die Unterkunft war die wohl schönste welche wir auf airbnb je gebucht hatten! Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, wunderschön eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet. wir wurden herzlich von Joel und Patricia empfangen, sie zeigten uns alles und waren stets für unsere Fragen erreichbar. Es hatte frisches Brot, Sekt, Kaffee, Tee, Pasta, alles was man braucht und so liebevoll! Sehr toll war auch die wunderschöne Terasse zum verweilen nach dem Wandern. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)!!
