Cottage vacation rentals in Portugalete

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

We are very happy to have spent these days there. It was very relaxing, beautiful place. The welcome was really warm. The house is as described and very convenient. We are really happy. Small bonus for sharing with these two dogs and these 4 ducks. 😍

Fantastic hospitality the people of Catalan are very friendly and the property was amazing but you definitely need a car to stay here as there nothing around no shops

The stay at Carmen's place was great! Communication with her from the first moment has been very good and has clarified all the doubts that could have arisen for us! The house is great and has enough space for all the guests it marks in the description. We have gone with two babies under 2 years old and they have also really enjoyed the stay! The shame is that it has made us bad weather and we could not enjoy the garden but we did not have the bbq of which the accommodation has. All the stays are equipped with what you need and the heating in autumn winter works great! The environment of the place is beautiful so in good weather it has to be a joy to enjoy it! Great Peaceful Location, away from the usual crowded touristy places, but with lots to do and visit in the area, for interesting and fun day trips and beach only 50 minutes away.

Great stay, the house is wonderful with all the amenities and the perfect exterior...the pool, BBQ, everything in general is great. Olaf was very kind from the first moment, he explained everything to us very well. We went with our dog and were very well received with little gifts for him, a drinking fountain and everything!! The only thing is the noise from the road during the day, then at night there is not so much movement...but the area is super quiet and very close to the entire coast and surrounding villages.

From the first moment, Adela's service was very good, very communicative and she answered my questions. The accommodation is great, everything is very clean, tidy, it has everything you need (and more!) to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The fireplace is a plus at this time of year (December). The common area is spacious, two open kitchen and living room rooms, very comfortable when it comes to being in the accommodation. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds, everything was clean and in order. The bathroom is somewhat narrow (it depends on each person's taste), although the shower is wonderful. The window didn't open and it was the only drawback I found. Everything else was magnificent. The village is quiet, in a beautiful valley, with possibilities for sports around and tourism (Bilbao 30min, Vitoria 40min...) I would recommend this accommodation because I was very satisfied and because I would repeat if the opportunity arose. Thanks Adela, especially for accepting Baio and Lea ❤️

The house is very spacious, modern and with all amenities. There is space left over for 9 people. The area is very quiet with beautiful views. It is in a valley that has a very nice car route. Next door is a farm and they let the kids see how they milked the cows. Emelina was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it and will repeat if I go back to this area.

The place is beautiful and you have a lot of privacy as it is set back from the main home. It has everything you need to have a wonderful day. Thank you

This house was absolutely breathtaking. Although it is not in a main city it is definitely close by and worth a stay. This place overlooks a beautiful vineyard and makes you feel like you're in a little oasis. The outdoor entertainment was amazing with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue that allows for wonderful nights enjoying your time. The views are incredible, the town is peaceful. Hosts were extremely kind, helpful and gave great recommendations.

Joso and his mother were wonderful hosts! This is a unique house that fits perfectly with the vibe of the Basque Country! Highly recommended!

A wonderful accommodation in a beautiful area. Very much enjoyed the tranquility, the cottage and the area. Upon arrival, the fireplace was already on and there was a delicious homemade cake ready and fresh eggs. Communicated well with the host using Google Translate.

Our stay has been amazing. The place is great, in the middle of nature, an ideal and peaceful place to relax. A beautiful garden and a very chulo apartment. In addition, it is 10 minutes away from the beach. And what about Itziar, it's a charm, attentive to everything you ask for and even what you might need.
