House vacation rentals in Porto Santo

We greatly enjoyed our one week stay at Quinta das Colmeias in Santo Antonio da Serra for its peace, tranquility, seclusion and wonderful vista. We had hired a car and the Quinta was easy to get to from Funchal airport. There were nearby grocery stores and coffee shops and a beautiful park in the town which is worth a visit. The grand old villa was charming, very spacious with a very well-equipped kitchen. Andrew had a few things provided for us in the fridge on our arrival which was much appreciated as was the coffee, tea and basic cooking items. All in all, we had a very relaxing stay at the Quinta and would recommended it to those who like peace and quiet and nature.

Jose and his wife are great hosts! Jose replyed quickly to my questions and accepted my late request. He also asked if I need something from a shop. I checked in late at night and he waited for me and explained how everything works. He upgraded my stay to a private apartment with open style kitchen. Jose's house is beautiful. The view is outstanding, overlook mountains and a valley. WiFi works very well. There is a snack bar and a grocery shop 5 minutes walking distance from the house. It takes about 45 minutes to walk down a hill to a sandy beach. I really enjoyed staying in Jose's house. Highly recommend!!!

The place is amazing! Suitable for families! Great pool ! Close to the beach and restaurants of the area.

Beautiful house! Amazing host, Paula makes sure everything is great. She even dropped by in the evening to bring new sheets when our baby threw up on our bed. Too sweet. Also the communication with her was the best ever. Big pool, great garden to have morning coffee in the sun, lovely village on walking distance. Good to know that the water pressure of the showers are a bit low, we were able to get a good shower anyway. Paula is super flexible, we were allowed to stay in the house until our flight left that day because there was not a guest coming that day or the next. All in all we would recommend Paula’s place 1000%.

Big kitchen, beautiful surroundings, peaceful area and private access to the beach. Depending on the wind, you might have planes fly overhead but we did not mind. Expect an oil tanker to dock itself in front of the house from time to time. Outside is well kept, big pool, lots of space and seating possibilities and great outside grill. Fenced in so very safe as well. A big recommendation!

Tolle Unterkunft in Porto Santo! 🌼 Zum Haus: Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Bildern beschrieben, sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Ein absolutes Highlight ist der Balkon im oberen Geschoss - man hat einen super Blick auf das Meer und den Strand (10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar). Man hat sehr viel Platz und alles Nötige vor Ort. Es gibt Nachbarn in der Nähe, man hat aber trotzdem viel Privatsphäre. Zur Umgebung: Bis zum Zentrum von Porto Santo sind es zu Fuß knappe 10 Minuten, 2 Gehminuten weiter beginnt der 11km lange Sandstrand. Wir empfehlen den Strand in Calheta (erreichbar durch Bus/Taxi) dort ist es aber etwas felsiger im Wasser. Zum Gastgeber: Für den Check-in ist uns die Agentur sehr entgegengekommen, die Kommunikation war sehr einfach und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. 👍🏽🌺

Casa fantástica, muito bem localizada, limpa e com tudo o que é necessário para passar umas ótimas férias . Recomendo.

Wij verbleven met 5. Het is erg ruim met 4 slaapkamers en 4 badkamers. Ruime keuken en woonkamer. We hebben vooral onder de grote patio gezeten. Veel stoelen en een hangmat. De bijgehuurde auto is een dik pluspunt als combinatie. Van harte aanbevolen!!

Casa excelente, com tudo o que é necessário para uma perfeita estadia. A anfitriã esteve sempre disponível para nos ajudar quando necessário. Com certeza um alojamento a repetir na próxima visita ao Porto Santo.

🇬🇧 Our stay at The Golden Villa hosted by Hugo and co-hosted by Paula was delightful. Paula greeted us promptly upon arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the house. She was always available to assist us throughout our stay. The accommodation was pet-friendly, which made our dog Nala feel right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return in the future. 🇵🇹 A nossa estadia na The Golden Villa, hospedada por Hugo e co-hospedada por Paula, foi uma verdadeira delícia. Paula recebeu-nos prontamente à chegada e fez um tour completo pela casa. Esteve sempre disponível para nos ajudar durante toda a estadia. O alojamento é pet-friendly, o que fez com que a nossa cadela Nala se sentisse em casa. Apreciámos imenso o tempo que passámos aqui e certamente voltaríamos no futuro.

The house is absolutely perfect. Opening the front door and seeing the sea would be enough, but on top of that, everything was sparkling clean, it had everything one may need, even for longer stays. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is an iron and an ironing board, the shower is massive... There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby and you can explore the island from there with ease. I went in the low season, in January, so many bars and restaurants were closed, but I didn't miss anything, I would really recommend going during the winter. If I ever go back to Porto Santo, I'm sure I'll choose Dina's house again.
