Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Porto

Cristina and her husband Joaquin met us at the apartment and welcomed us like family. Cristina's personal touches, fresh flowered from her garden, robes, slippers and her warm and welcoming energy were just lovely. Joaquin gave us an incredible rundown on the map of the area. Cristina checked in with us regularly and made us feel like we had family nearby. The apartment is quite spacious. highly recommend.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming house. It was spotless, beautifully decorated—just as pictured, if not better. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms to the local recommendations left by the host. The location was perfect—tucked away on a quiet street but still within easy walking distance of the river, shops, and all the best spots in the city. It felt like a real home away from home. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and welcoming, making check-in smooth and offering great tips on places to eat and things to see. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto!

Beautifully designed apartment with a great atmosphere and beautiful views of the river in a quiet neighborhood. It's an easy walk into the middle of town - about ten minutes for us. We enjoyed the pool too! Highly recommended.

Maria greeted us and had cheese and cold beverages and a few other amenities in the fridge , we were able to get some great information she was very friendly and helpful . The views were fantastic exactly like the photo’s . Went to the Espinho market on Monday it was huge great deals and something for everyone was easy to get there . Plenty of walkways all along the ocean you can walk for miles . The train station is very close that you can take to Porto just FYI if you do take the train to Sao Bento Porto which is the downtown you have to change to Train 2 at the main station. This area is easy to get around and parking was close and free. Would love to come back to this area to explore some more .

I would highly recommend this unit. It is a 5 min walk to the beach, less tourist, quiet and only 15-20 min away from the city center. For me it was the ideal location. The host are very friendly and they focus on a positive experience for their guest.

Ich hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem Tiny House. Die Lage ist super und das Haus ist gemütlich. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen und würde immer wiederkommen. Die Gastgeber sind super hilfsbereit und bei Fragen immer ansprechbar!

Eduardo and Elisabete were great comunicators as well as flexible for our arrival. They settled us in and felt very welcoming. The apartment itself was ideal for us, situated in a great place near to amenities. It was clean and modern, and included A/C which was much appreciated at this time of the year. The inside of the apartment block is also modern and clean with a lift to floors. Although busy outside at times during the day, we were not aware of noise once inside. We would highly recommend this apartment. In addition we would like to thank Eduardo and Elisabete for making us welcome, sharing tips for eating etc and ensuring we were comfortable and had a great stay. Hopefully we can go back someday soon and stay again.

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Porto. Josefa and Carla were absolutely wonderful, so responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. They gave us fantastic recommendations throughout our trip and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The flat itself was huge, spotless, and in a perfect central location, walking distance to all the major attractions. We were traveling with an infant, and they made every accommodation for us, which made a big difference. The building also has an elevator, which was a huge plus. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you, Josefa and Carla, for making our stay in Porto so memorable!

Staying at this beautiful place made my first visit to Porto truly memorable. The location was perfect—within walking distance to all the charming spots in the city center. It was also very quiet, which was ideal for a light sleeper like me. The view was absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend staying at Ani’s place! The host was very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout my stay.

Absolutely worth it for the view! It’s incredible. It’s also well located, right next to the bridge for easy access to Porto. Definitely recommend!

The view was beautiful. Loved waking up with a cup of coffee sitting on the little deck watching the boats and activity on the river. The location was perfect! Close to anything and everything you might need.

Insanely beautiful apartment that is furnished with a love for detail and aesthetics. Central location. Still a calm nice place to come down after an intense day in the city. even during saint Johns Festival not too noisy.

⸻ I really enjoyed my stay here while visiting Porto! The apartment is centrally located, making it easy to walk to most of the places we wanted to explore. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cristina and Paula were incredibly kind and responsive—they checked in on us during our visit and made sure we had everything we needed. I especially appreciated all their recommendations—we loved the chicken spot they suggested and Gazela, which we ended up visiting multiple times! I would absolutely stay here again.

nous avons eu la chance de disposer d'un logement décoré avec goût, très bien équipé, idéalement situé dans le cœur vivant et historique de Porto, tout en bénéficiant de calme. les commerces du quotidien tout à côté, les lieux les plus emblématiques de Porto disponibles à pieds en quelques minutes, d'excellents restaurants pour goûter les spécialités de la ville.... nous avons adoré le logement, qui nous a fait adorer la ville. nous reviendrons forcément dans ce logement!

Pedro was very responsive and also a great host. He came to meet us and tell us how everything at the place works. He is super friendly as well and gave us a welcome gift. He represents what Airbnb is about with his great hosting attitude

The apartment is a delight from the moment you walk in. It is beautifully decorated and feels like a home. Great bathroom with amazing rain shower and hot water. Bedroom and kitchen and living areas are all well presented and equipped with all you need and with lots of additional touches. Very quiet for sleeping, and great air conditioning in bedroom and living area. Great location to explore Porto, and don’t even have to walk very far at all, including a great cafe next door, to find lovely eating places. Pedro was a wonderful host in every way.

We had a wonderful stay :) Sousa was lovely and welcoming, and the apartment was clean, modern, and comfortable. The location was perfect - super walkable and close to everywhere we wanted to explore. A sweet bonus was meeting a few friendly cats in the courtyard, which naturally, made everything even better. Would definitely stay here again!

Nuno’s Porto studio was great! The location is perfect as it has various great restaurants and cafes right on the same street and you can walk to anywhere in the city within 10-15 min. The place was a modern studio that was very clean and had cool views. Nuno was very responsive and accommodating. I would stay here again!

Pasamos 4 días muy agradables en el apartamento, que está muy bien situado en el centro de Matosinhos y cuenta con todo tipo de negocios cerca (también la playa!). Está muy bien para una pareja o una persona sola. Y Fernando, el anfitrión, te dará toda la información necesaria para disfrutar de tu estancia, y estará pendiente para resolver cualquier asunto que sirva para hacer aún más satisfactorio tu viaje. En resumen, una gran experiencia!

Fantastic location: safe and close to great restaurants and public transport. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would recommend!

Martha was incredibly polite and responsive from the beginning. Martha also recommended some lovely places to eat. I honestly didn’t realise how central the location was. We walked everywhere, about 15,000 steps a day and there was plentiful and good value restaurants and bars locally. Martha was extremely kind and accommodated us by letting us leave our things in the apartment on our last day as there were no new guests to check in and we had a late flight. There is construction immediately next to the apartment but this had very little impact. I would 100% recommend this location anf Martha for her kindness and attentiveness.

Daniel is extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and very quick responses. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend any of Daniel's private tours which are much more personal. if we return to Porto we would definitely stay here again.
