Beach house vacation rentals in Porto

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Tiagos Haus! Die Lage ist wirklich traumhaft – in nur einer Minute ist man zu Fuss am Strand mit einer wunderschönen Kapelle und atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergängen. Das Haus selbst ist zwar etwas älter, aber in sehr gutem Zustand, super sauber und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Besonders angenehm: der grosse Kühlschrank, die Waschmaschine und die insgesamt gute Infrastruktur. Als wir den Föhn nicht finden konnten, wurde uns sofort ein neuer gebracht – der Kontakt war also auch top! Für Aufenthalte im Frühjahr empfehlen wir, die Heizung mit einzuplanen, da die Nächte noch etwas kühl sein können. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Liliana’s home is perfect for a family holiday. We had mixed age groups and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom is good for older generation with easy access. We were by the beach for walks and nearby was a cafe and restaurant for evening meals and morning coffees and cakes. We got Ubers into Porto which were very easy to get and reasonably priced. You can have busy days in Porto and quieter evenings in the house in Gaia which suited us perfectly. Liliana was a fantastic host who organised a cab for us from the airport. Any questions we had she provided quick answers and helpful tips. I would definitely recommend the house and host. Just for info - We took a bus tour in Porto for 48 hours would take the bus to the point closest to the house and grab an Uber from there which worked out cheaper.

A casa da Maria é maravilhosa! Além de muito bonita, é acolhedora e muito confortável. A vista para a praia e o mar é um privilégio único. A Maria é uma pessoa encantadora, muito simpática e muito gentil. sempre disposta a ajudar. Voltarei muito mais vezes a sua casa! Um Feliz Ano e beijo nosso.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruca’s place with our family. She was extremely helpful and friendly and we felt at home right away. The house is located literally on the front of the beach and there is a back door giving access to the beach. The place is spacious, the garden big and neat. Ideal for families. Thank you Ruca for your warm welcome!

La casita de Nuno es un lugar maravilloso para poder pasar unos días en paz y en tranquilidad. Desde la ventana del salón podíamos ver el mar y pese a tener restaurantes a ambos lados de la casa el ruido nunca fue un problema. La casa se encontraba limpia y ordenada y coincidía con el anuncio. De hecho, diría que incluso el anuncio no le hace justicia. El pueblo es muy tranquilo y tienes todas las necesidades cerca: restaurantes y un pequeño supermercado con todo lo básico para estar unos días. La estación de tren está a 5 minutos de la casa y Oporto a 30 minutos en tren. Además a menos de 1 hora andando por un paseo de madera y siempre frente al mar tienes Espinho, que es mucho más grande y tiene mucho ambiente. También a 30 minutos andando Miramar, desde cuya playa se pueden ver unos atardeceres increíbles. Cuando vuelva a Aguda la casa de Nuno será una de mis opciones donde volver a quedarme.

Vriendelijke host, zeer vlotte communicatie. Zeer ruim huis met grote tuin. Rustige buurt, probleemloos parkeren voor de deur. Speelruimte voor de kinderen. In de buurt is, buiten het strand en de zee, weinig te beleven, maar er is een gemakkelijke treinverbinding met Porto. Een aanrader!

Si vous aimez le calme et vous endormir avec le son des vagues vous venez de trouver le logement parfait. De plus, Paula est une hôte très attentionnée. À notre arrivée nous avons eu droit à des tartelettes portugaises et une bouteille de vin en guise de bienvenue. Nous avons séjourné avec notre fille de 10 mois et tout le nécessaire était présent dans le logement. Nous avons adoré notre séjour.

The house was great, super comfortable with everything we needed. The house was well stocked and close to amenities. We had a fabulous trip and would certainly book again!! Thanks André!

Wir waren für eine knappe Woche bei Daniel und Ana und wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön, die Lage total nah am Meer und da wir ohne Auto waren, war für uns die Bahnanbindung wichtig. Die Anbindung Richtung Porto ist einfach, nah und schnell. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Daniel und seine Familie sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Besser hätten wir es nicht haben können. :) Portugal ist zudem absolut eine Reise wert. Wir werden wiederkommen.

This place was a great find in a peaceful area. The house is private and secure. There is a nice stretch of beach that is walkable. Taxis were cheap to get into the city centre

Thankyou Afonso for a lovely stay at your home We had everything we needed there and really enjoyed our stay despite For future guests we recommend an early trip on Grayline sightseeing tour to get your bearings around Porto/Matosinhos Stop 9 just 5 min walk from apartment Locally : Just down the pedestrian lane from apartment there are good restaurants Camelia Garden for lunch/brunch and Paparoca and Arcadia for morning coffee/pastries Porto is easy to get to - could walk prob 20/ 30 mins but can get Infante tram from Camelia (€6 each one way ) but also found Ubers cheaper to get into town only €6 Didn’t really find a close convenience store nearby so just bear in mind for milk water etc Al Mare and Habitat for dinner is excellent

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cette grande maison très fonctionnelle avec cette belle piscine et la plage à moins de 100 mètres ! Merci beaucoup à Daniel qui est un hôte très aimable et réactif !

Wow I really enjoyed the stay. The place is impeccably styled and is very conveniently located. The host is awesome and we were fed a daily supply of crazy amount of bread and pastries. What is not immediately clear from the photos is that the place is in a vicinity of a big port, but that is actually a very interesting view to see so we're more than enjoyed the stay and would totally come back again.

We had a lovely stay at Francisco's beautiful home. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all that a family of 6 would need. Our kids really enjoyed the lower level playroom and the outdoor space and pool. The hosts shared local recommendations and even provided a few welcome treats and wine which we appreciated. Francisco was extremely responsive and came by within minutes when we had a question about something in the house one morning. The area is quiet but on the outskirts of many of the sights of downtown Porto. Something to be aware of if you're looking for an area that is walkable or closer to the activities around town. You will need to Uber (minimum 10-15 minutes) to get to most nearby Porto attractions. Great house and pretty decent location if you don't mind being a bit further away from the city center.

The house was perfect for our family holiday. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and there was a supermarket only 3 minute walk away. Parking was easy in the street in front of the house or in the driveway inside the gate. The kitchen dining area and living area were perfect for relaxing and family meals. The kitchen had everything we needed. All 5 bedrooms had their own bathroom which was super convenient. Great place to stay with a large group or family.

A big thanks to Nuno, a fantastic host - so helpful, responsive and welcoming! The studio was exactly as described, very clean and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome touches like wine and snacks. The bed, though compact, was very comfortable and the gated parking was a great plus. Nuno was always available to grant access if needed, which was really helpful. The street in front was busier than we expected, with some cars passing quite fast, which felt a bit unsettling at times. That said, by around 23:00, it got quieter. The studio had a slight earthy smell, likely due to humidity and occasionally we smelled cigarette smoke even with the windows closed. The Foz neighborhood is generally very nice and upscale and despite some small drawbacks, this apartment was a convenient base for exploring Porto. Nuno’s hospitality really stood out!

Vi var en familie på fire barn (6, 12, 14 og 16 år), to foreldre og to besteforeldre. Huset var supert på alle måter, - rent, romslig og smakfullt innredet. Med sine fire soverom og fire bad hadde vi alt vi trengte! Tre balkonger og en uteplass foran kjøkkenet gjorde at dette huset virkelig var noe for seg selv. Paulo gjorde oppholdet enda bedre, og han var svært hjelpsom og hyggelig hele tiden. Da vi ankom huset gav han oss gode tips og han hadde i tillegg ordnet med masse vann, kaffi, øl og epler. Han kom nesten umiddelbart da vi trengte ekstra sengetøy og handklær, og stod til tjeneste når vi trengte det. I nabolaget finner man bakeri, supermarked og restauranter/kafeer innenfor 1 minutts gange, og. Slik er det også med stranden. Togstasjonen er også bare tre minutter unna, men vi tok oftere Uber når vi skulle inn til Porto/flyplassen. Det var uansett enkelt å komme seg rundt, også til nabolandsbyene. Rolig atmosfære og er fint sted å være for å slippe å bo midt i byen.Anbefales!

We have had a fantastic holiday. Segio's spacious 6-person holiday home is fully furnished. Two bathrooms with a toilet are very nice. But the washing machine is also practical because we stayed for over two weeks. There is always a place in the sun or shade in the garden around the house. There is a private parking space at the house, but there are plenty of parking spaces in the street. Sergio is a hospitable host, he is helpful and easily accessible. During our two week stay the house was cleaned and all towels and beds changed. An extra service that we appreciate. The house is located in a quiet residential area within walking distance of the beach. On the dunes and along the beach there are kilometers of walking routes on wooden footpaths. By car you are within 20 minutes in the center of Porto and within an hour in places such as Guimarães, Penafiel or a recommended walking route "Passadiços do Paiva". The station is a 7-minute walk. The train takes you to Porto station Campanhã within 23 minutes. For walkers it is a 1.5 kilometer walk to the center. But you can also transfer to train or metro. During the summer months it can be very hot in Porto. On the coast it is much more pleasant and yet only 20 minutes from the center of Porto. In short, this vacation rental is a must.

Fernanda was very nice and we really enjoyed our time at her place. There was absolutely nothing to complain!

Der Check in verlief reibungslos, die Kommunikation war sehr gut und die Wohnung ist so wie sie beschrieben ist. Zudem eine tolle Nähe zum Strand.

We hebben een fijne tijd gehad met ruime slaapkamers en een heel ruim huis. Gratis parkeergelegenheid. Strand en boulevard op loopafstand.
