We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Highlight was the unbelievable views from the pool and terrace. The villa and garden with pool & basketball/football court is completely private, perfect for small groups. There are some great local restaurants and river beaches, and Porto centre is only a short drive away. Be warned - there are lots of steep and narrow roads! João was a brilliant host - greeting us on arrival, and easy to reach throughout. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

What a lovely stay! We immediately had to take our own photos to show the family. The property is very well presented, and we were provided with fresh fruit and eggs on arrival. We also had access to the private garden (more like a forest), which led down to the river. An unexpected surprise! We recommend to anyone looking at this listing!

A great location in the countryside 45 minutes from Porto and 2 hours from Pinhão. Beautiful scenery , hiking around. Home is on a hill with amazing views of the Douro River. Beautiful outdoor space with outdoor kitchen and a small pool. Excellent for family vacation.

Beautiful villa, even more beautiful than in the pictures!! Peaceful and private place. Great for a family vacation, our children really enjoyed it. Great host, professional, friendly, very responsive. I recommend it 1000%

Maria and her husband's home is a wonderful retreat and oasis directly on the river beds. Maria treated us like family and went above and beyond an Airbnb experience. She welcomed us with open arms, spend a lot of time explaining all the options we have here, for us to choose from, invited us in her own kitchen to prepare pizza dough, showed us how to make pizza in her stone oven, provided us with home produced wine and friends wine, let us use their kayaks and stand up paddle boards. We were able to check in earlier and stay longer and she even bought us lunch that we could eat prior to our departure. Maria is such a warm, generous person and is trying to provide you with the best time in her home. We are so grateful for all you did for all of us individually and as a group. We can not wait to come back one day and the experience and memories will stay with us forever.

perfect place to stay in Amarante!

We experienced the people, culture, and history of Porto and the Douro Valley while staying at the beautiful accommodations at Heart-Tripe Mouzinho 32. The unit was impeccable in its decor and amenities, which even pictures can’t do justice. The location is also fantastic and allows easy access to restaurants, entertainment, historical landmarks, the waterfront, and the train station. Many thanks to our hosts for a wonderful time.

Staying at this beautiful place made my first visit to Porto truly memorable. The location was perfect—within walking distance to all the charming spots in the city center. It was also very quiet, which was ideal for a light sleeper like me. The view was absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend staying at Ani’s place! The host was very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout my stay.

Just perfect 2 min walk from restaurants and shops, just stunning views. They let us check in early at no extra costs, it was magnificent. Thank and will stay again very soon. Thank you once again.

Staying at Filipa’s was a highlight of our trip to Porto. In the lovely, very comfortable apartment looking out on the Douro with a balcony was dreamy. The windows closed tightly blocking all sound so any time day or night we need quiet to sleep or think we had it. If we come back to Porto we’ll go right back to Filipa’s apartment. So wonderful to stay in the historic district with easy access to all of Porto. Be sure to savor the welcome glass of port with their amazing chocolate mousse. Delicious!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely property in Porto's historic Ribeira district. Filipe was excellent with communication throughout our stay - very responsive and helpful! The loft is absolutely adorable - cute, cozy, and beautifully appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn't be better! We enjoyed stunning views and found ourselves perfectly positioned to explore the Douro River waterfront and all the major tourist attractions on foot. Being able to wander through Porto's charming streets and riverside areas right from our doorstep made the experience even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Porto and already planned to go back to explore north of Portugal again!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Porto! The apartment’s view was absolutely stunning and the balcony was the perfect place for morning coffee or evening wine. Cristina was incredibly accommodating and kind, and the apartment was very clean, comfortable, and felt very secure with the security codes. Cristina was very available for questions throughout our stay. We can’t recommend this apartment enough!

I stayed for 3 nights from the 5th of June 25 It wasn't a self-check-in, but one of the hosts came and gave me the key and explained the house.(You don't have to do it, and I think self-check-in would be more comfortable for each other..) First of all, the view was the best. The house was spacious, there were no bugs, it was clean, and the view of the Doru River was the best, so even if I didn't go to Moru Park, the view of the accommodation was also good!! If I visit Porto again next time, it was a place to stay again. The interior of the house was nice, clean, and there were almost no bugs (maybe because we opened the window, we caught 2-3 mosquitoes and 1-3 flies, but we were very satisfied because there were no crawling bugs). There was an elevator, and it was a place I wanted to come again. However, to mention the shortcomings in the accommodation description, it seems that there is no air conditioner (there are 2 fans instead), there are about 30 stairs to the first floor with an elevator, and the bed is very slightly stiff. It seems to be an Ikea product. There was a washing machine, but it took more than 2 hours and drying took about 2 hours.(I didn't use it because I saw water stains.. haha) But despite that, considering the location, view, and cleanliness, I will stay again if I come next time. Pedro was very responsive and also a great host. He came to meet us and tell us how everything at the place works. He is super friendly as well and gave us a welcome gift. He represents what Airbnb is about with his great hosting attitude

Nuno’s Porto studio was great! The location is perfect as it has various great restaurants and cafes right on the same street and you can walk to anywhere in the city within 10-15 min. The place was a modern studio that was very clean and had cool views. Nuno was very responsive and accommodating. I would stay here again!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Martha was incredibly polite and responsive from the beginning. Martha also recommended some lovely places to eat. I honestly didn’t realise how central the location was. We walked everywhere, about 15,000 steps a day and there was plentiful and good value restaurants and bars locally. Martha was extremely kind and accommodated us by letting us leave our things in the apartment on our last day as there were no new guests to check in and we had a late flight. There is construction immediately next to the apartment but this had very little impact. I would 100% recommend this location anf Martha for her kindness and attentiveness.

Daniel is extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and very quick responses. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend any of Daniel's private tours which are much more personal. if we return to Porto we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and comfortable apartment - we stayed 3 nights, and it is within walking distance of many sights and restaurants, but remarkably quiet given where it is. A small balcony overlooks an interior courtyard. There is a coffee machine/electric kettle for tea, and a laundromat around the corner. Highly recommend.

Great location right in the city center, within walking distance to everything around. Parking spot was very convenient and safe as it was in a private underground parking lot. The place was very clean, quiet and had everything that we could need! Would highly recommend.
