The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

Grandma Anna's house is a large and bright apartment in the historic center of Porto Azzurro: from the windows you can see the sea. It has a terrace of about 60 meters, a large living room, two large bedrooms and a large kitchen. The light and energy of the sea and the marina permeate all the rooms. In the past, La Guardiola was placed to defend the entrance to Porto Azzurro from the sea. It had two key features: an extensive and dominant view and immediate access to the sea. Porto Azzurro, the house, with beautiful view, has been renovated now in 2026. The house has good place for 4 persons. The beach, "Golfo della Mola", that is very close to our house, is perfect for who has a kayak or a small boat. To bath we recommend sand beaches that is 1-2 km away.
