Best Airbnb stay we have had ! Catherine/Kevin were great at communicating all about the check in and they were super flexible. When we arrived they had a care package for us with cookies and wine and a frozen pizza and a bundle of turf The hot tub was as a great addition. 3 minute walk to the local pub with trad music and great food ! This place is a true gem - we are definitely going to come back !

The Limehouse Cottage

EmerRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! We can't wait to come back, thanks so much Grace

Mollie’s cottage - 3 bedroom cottage with hot tub.

AlannaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place was absolute heaven! We had four people and two dogs staying and it was plenty of space for us all. The views are absolutely stunning even in the rain. Location is perfect for a quiet get away but plenty of things to do around the area! We went to both local pubs and would definitely recommend paying them a visit! Patrick answered all our questions quickly and nothing was too big of an ask! Will definitely be back again, highly recommend!

The Red Bridge Cottage

EmmaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A lovely stay in Mairead and Hugh’s beautiful cottage! The house is utterly gorgeous – comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen and a lovely, cosy, rustic vibe. The interior decor is stunning with lots of thoughtful touches like the giant claw foot bathtub and the big fluffy pillows. The view from the garden is phenomenal and we spent a lovely evening in the hot tub watching the sun go down! Mairead and Hugh were the perfect hosts – helpful when we needed them but never invasive, and the homemade wheaten bread and jam that was waiting for us was a lovely welcoming touch! All in all a perfect stay and we can’t wait to come back some time.

The location is beautiful, a short drive out of Bun Beag but close enough that you could walk in on a nice morning. Lovely, well presented home. The house is warm and cosy with very comfy beds. Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

We had an amazing stay at Harben Cottage. The view is beautiful and Nancys pub in the local village has lovely food and pints of Guinness. The cottage itself is very clean, cosy and homely. There is sticks and turf for the stove which you can relax in front of and the bed is extremely comfortable! The spring tap water is so refreshing we could’ve brought a bucket of it with us! 10/10 stay highly recommended ☺️

If your looking for the Irish experience Cecil’s cottage is the perfect setting, remote but all you need within a 5 min drive…. Unfortunately we weren’t blessed with the weather but we soon forgot about that when we arrived to a roaring peat stove and a view that you could never tire off… Communication with the family was very prompt and helpful…. If we plan to be in Buncrana in the future, Cecil’s cottage is where we will be….. Thanks to all the family….👏🏻👏🏻

Rosie’s cottage

JamieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved staying at Rosie's cottage for a family holiday in Donegal. The house is not huge but is clean, warm and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Carrickfinn Beach is a short walk down the road and is absolutely lovely, with white sands and bright blue seas. Mullaghderg Beach is also nearby and is also great. The tiny airport has a surprisingly nice cafe where you can get a toastie and a cuppa for lunch. There are only two or three small planes coming in and out each day, so these are actually highlights to watch out for rather than being a nuisance! Great food at the Caisleáin Óir Hotel in Annagry. Great music at the Teach Hiúdaí Beag pub in Bunbeg on a Monday night and good craic at Bonner's close to the cottage. Leo's Tavern is warm and friendly and apparently has good music too. Recommend climbing Mount Errigal and visiting Glenveagh National Park. All in all, a great place to stay!
