The view was stunning and it was in a lovely area, close to the beach and restaurants. The house had everything you needed; a great shower, a washing machine, a nice kitchen and a comfy bed. Great value for money, comfy bed and a clean and tidy room with ensuite. Location was in a peaceful suburban street which we felt very safe in. Very central location to Newcastle and the highway. Nothing bad to say about our stay ☺️

Great property in a fantastic location. Close to shops, beaches & restaurants all within walking distance. The property looks just like the pictures. Even though it is in a unit complex it was extremely quiet & the verandah areas very private. Loved the quirky decor & artworks. Highly recommend this property.

Michelle’s place was in a fabulous location, a very quick walk to the beach and playground. The apartment pool and tennis court were fabulous and we loved the collection of DVDs, books and kids games and books. Apartment was very well set up.

Our family loved the place. It was very clean especially the bathrooms! The beds were very comfy and the kids loved the 3 singles beds in the second room. Would definitely stay again!!

I had a fabulous mini getaway with my family at Laura’s place and couldn't have been more impressed. The place is beautifully decorated with a modern beach vibe, it’s very clean and tidy. One of the best parts was the location. Just a short walk to the beach, and it’s also close to restaurants and cafes which made everything super convenient. This place is a fantastic, Laura and Insa were very responsive and friendly.

Deborah’s place is perfectly located, just a stone throw away from the Main Street of shoal bay as well as a very walkable distance to the beautiful beaches. It has allowed us to go for an early morning walk to see the sunrise from zenith beach and then up the tomaree summit which was very special☺️ Bathroom was especially nice and spacious and spotless! Deborah also let us know about a local food and wine festival that was on during our stay which was one of many highlights of our stay. Thank you so much Deborah & David!

We had a wonderful stay at Andi's apartment. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance to downtown Shoal Bay, the beach and walking trails. We appreciated the comfortable environment, great kitchen with BBQ and extra large television. The kitchen was stocked with cold drinks and a lovely bottle of wine, which we enjoyed! We also appreciated the "just in case you forgot" cupboard items. This Airbnb is truly a gem and we would recommend it wholeheartedly!

Fantasti location so close to beach, restaurant, supermarket & park. Very comfortable space. Loved the linen supplied & access to garage for the boat. Front yard had privacy screen & safe for kids to play. Plenty of on street parking. Just wish it had a tap or shower put in the front area for sand from beach & needs wifi. Will book again, great location & place on the ground level.

Such an amazing place! I would highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway! Nicole was such a great host, very responsive and added some extra special touches for us! The apartment is stunning and beautifully located! The rooftop private spa and deck was also a highlight! I’d come back in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic three days here even thought the weather was off and on. Kids still used the pool and hot spa during all weather types. Unit is right next to pool which was great.

A great place in the middle of Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay. Super easy to get around from here and a nice stay.

Great location close to everything in town, well equipped apartment with a great courtyard, very clean and tidy, the complex amenities are excellent kids loved the pool and water play. The host was excellent at communicating and very accommodating (early check offered) would definitely stay again.

Happy with the stay, will rebook for next visit.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment! The views of Fingal Bay were absolutely spectacular, and the short walk to the beach made it even better. We loved having the little grocery store and cafés just downstairs—so convenient. The underground parking and elevator access straight to the second-floor apartment were a huge plus. The large covered balcony was perfect for relaxing, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. We also appreciated how peaceful the area was while still being close to amenities. The only minor issue was sometimes the buses will idle at the bus stop near the apartment and if you have your doors open it can be a bit loud. But it’s only a couple of times per day we noticed it. Definitely recommend the apartment.
