Family-friendly vacation rentals in Port Alberni

We booked this place for a girl's weekend (and a local trail marathon) and were delighted with the house! Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room, EPIC patio with outdoor dining table and a clean, functioning hot tub overlooking the ocean. What more could you want? The place was quiet, a short drive away from town, and the hosts were friendly and responsive during the booking and check in process. Highly recommend!

The CQ was exactly what we wanted. Private cabin on a quaint farm. We had everything we needed and Henny knows exactly what she is doing! Great location 15 mins max to anything on the island. Great place with very nice host. the hous is clean, well furnished and beautiful. the hosts are super helpful, communicate well and overall great. we loved the beachside location with the beautiful view. I would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely stunning location - saw loads of wildlife from the terrace, and an amazing view over the water. Property was also very well supplied with a super modern kitchen and ample bed and bath space. Will be back!

We enjoyed a quite few days on the point. The property is beautiful with lots of options for accessing the water. We enjoyed staring at the strait from the hottub and looking for otters as well as plenty of other sea life post hiking nearby. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. The loft is cozy and well equipped. We will come back!

We loved staying at Michelle’s place. It was very clean and relaxing and the place had all amenities as described. The hot tub was a special bonus after hiking and water sports. Michelle is very responsive and friendly. We would definitely book again!

Katy and Dave were incredible hosts - they made sure the hot tub was warm for us each day and were responsive to whatever we needed. The place itself is GORGEOUS - we didn’t leave once and were entertained the entire time, even in the rain. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to be back at some point! Can’t recommend enough.

This is a true Guest House experience. Hans and Denise were just incredible hosts. Really thoughtful and personal. The location is top notch, and the cabin is perfect. 10/10. Can’t fault it.

It was such a lovely stay at Keitha’s cabin. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close enough by the ocean. The cabin was charming with all the amenities you need for a get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin is on her gorgeous property with access to a fire pit and yard space. We had a lovely stay here and would love return! Keitha was very responsive and kind and has two beautiful dogs who sometimes greeted us with wagging tails by the fence. It was wonderful! I stayed at Lauri's place for a week while working remotely, and it was exactly what I needed. The deck offers a great view - perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The area is quiet and peaceful, I could really focus during the day and relax afterwards. Even though it wasn't a vacation, I left feeling recharged. The cabin, though small, was well-equipped and comfortable, and the natural beauty around made it a memorable experience.

Wow! Attention to detail and ensuring we had everything we needed was amazing. Perfect place to have our dog with us. The backyard is private and an oasis. Perfect host, giving us privacy while ensuring we had everything we would possibly need. What a wonderful thing if all Airbnbs were like this one.

We had a great stay! The neighbourhood was very peaceful. We really enjoyed grilling on the Weber BBQ and appreciated the multiple fans available in the cottage. The pillows were some of the best I've slept on! My toddler said it was her favourite place that we've stayed. Thanks!

Everything was just easy, June is an excellent host and was helpful right from the start, communication was great also. If I could give more than 5⭐️ I would. The suite was spotless and very well equipped, we had everything we needed including a nice bag of coffee. We stayed with our 2 Boxers, June made us feel very welcomed. We had a wonderful stay at Chantal and Alex’s property! They’d thought of every detail to help us and our dog feel welcome. Would recommend this spot for a tranquil coastal getaway and an opportunity to relax and feel looked after!

We’ve stayed at the Inn Of the Sea many time and been lucky to stay at both of Tammy’s condos. We come and go from the area all the time for work and it’s hard to go back to a hotel after discovering the condos.

Nicole's place is amazing, great communication and everything is as she described. she was super helpful with anything we needed! The yard is quiet and private. there is a shared pool and hot tub not to mention mini golf was so much fun. I will definitely be staying again if given the chance.

This was a fabulous rental, it was perfect in every way. Every step of this booking was just a great experience, the host was so friendly and fun to chat with and thought of everything a traveller might need. All of the instructions were clear and well thought out, everything was as expected if not better, the place was spotlessly clean and everything was provided for. Donald was a very good host to work with. We were happy with the condo, it was spacious and had what we needed to enjoy a great time. So nice to have the pack and play for our baby. The upper and lower floors were so nice to give privacy when traveling with multi family. The grounds were beautiful and the heated pool and hot tub were really nice. A short walk to access Rathtrevor Beach, which is awesome We would book again next time we come!

We had a great stay! Grandkids swam in the pool most every evening, and it was great to have the beach so close! Accommodations were very clean, comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils needed for preparing meals and grilling. The grands loved discovering the box of toys too!

The cottage was great for our family of 5! Equipped with beach towels, toys, and even a mini cooler - this makes beach going easy. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beds and sofa beds were all comfy! Thanks so much for a great stay!
