Very clean and beautifully decorated annexe, the bed is really comfy and I slept very well. The area is quiet too. There’s was ample space to park so I wasn’t blocking anyone in. The bathroom is super modern with a fantastic shower. A great place positioned a short drive from the M3, easy to find and with good access to local woods for a walk or to Winchester and Basingstoke.

Beautiful and very clean property with use of outside space as well to relax and unwind, within a short walking distance of the village. The property was decorated and furnished well and was very comfortable and warm to be in. The kitchen had everything needed to cook simple meals and it was a lovely touch having the gin and breakfast foods ready for us when we arrived. Communication was excellent, Caroline has clearly thought carefully about everything and has a guide to the property available which was helpful too. I would definitely like to come back for another break in the tranquility of the garden studio.

Home away from home. I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 months when I first arrived in the UK together with my fiancee and our 10 month old daughter. Susie ensured we'd feel right at home from the beginning with all basic necessities provided. The fridge had some fresh food and juice in it, a thoughtful touch that just shows how much the host looks after her guests. The property itself is nestled in the beautiful countryside, offering peace and tranquility, yet it's just a 10-minute car or train ride to the malls and shopping centres in Basingstoke Susie is attentive without being intrusive, always making sure your stay is comfortable while keeping any disturbances to a minimum. The only minor downside is that the dining room doesn’t get much natural sunlight—but that’s a small detail in what was otherwise a truly wonderful stay. This is my second stay at Gail's place. I need a slightly long term place till I sorted out my plans and I didn't have to think twice before booking Gail's place. As usual she was nice to accommodate my check in time, the place was nice & clean. It is quite close to the city mall and train station. Gail & her family are helpful and non intrusive. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Best value for money as well esp. for longer stay.
