Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Poole

We had a lovely stay at at Angus and Anne's home. Comfortable beds, clean bed linen and towels and fully equipped kitchen including milk and prosecco in the fridge upon arrival. The quay and town centre just a 10 minute walk away. I would definitely recommend Angus and Anne's home to anyone visiting Poole.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The home itself is lovely—very spacious, beautifully decorated, and in a fantastic location that made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. It had everything we needed for a comfortable visit, and we especially appreciated how much room there was to relax. The only downside for us was that, being a dog-friendly property, there was a noticeable pet smell. We're not pet owners ourselves, so it was just something we were more sensitive to. That said, it's a great spot for anyone travelling with dogs, and overall, it didn’t take away from our stay too much. Would absolutely recommend to others, especially those with pets!

What a find! Highly recommend. Set in a beautiful, peaceful area of Poole, 20 mins walk down to the beach through the woodland chines. We felt at home immediately for our long stay. Comfy bed and sofas. Great shower and modern kitchen. Private lodge and garden that is a suntrap in the morning. Easy walk to restaurants on the coast and to Westbourne with great places to eat including Chez Fred's famous fish and chips. Richard and Lana were wonderful hosts.

Lovely stay at Maple Lodge - very peaceful and relaxing. Lisa was great and communicated well with us when he had any issues and checked in with us throughout the stay. Would recommend to a friend.

Andy and Rachel's house was outstanding. Very high standard & nice of them to leave wine & welcome basket! Linen very high quality & towels. Perfect location with lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance

A lovely (and large) apartment in a good location. We only used it as a stop-over before getting the boat home but we could have stayed there longer. There is a private enclosed courtyard (great for the dog) and it is walkable to get to the Poole seafront. The car park is across the road but is not far on foot to get to. We parked alongside the property briefly to unload the car (it was tipping it down when we arrived!) and then moved the car to the car park. The only slight negative is that the bath is built into the eaves and the shower head is really low - I had to crouch to use it! I would stay there again.

Had a great stay for my husbands' 30th birthday, we arrived early and Jj allowed us to check in early. Gave recommendations on places to eat etc and was a lovely house. Definitely recommend

This beach flat is just in the perfect location for exploring the beach, Rick steins and pig on the beach in studland (5 mins ferry ride). The number 50 bus takes you to all of these . Michelle was very friendly and met us on arrival and showed us around the flat . We would return x

We really enjoyed our few days at Paul’s lovely property, so peaceful with great outside space to relax, we would highly recommend this location with access to all that Sandbanks has to offer, we will be back soon.

We didn’t stay long enough to really appreciate the lovely little apartment for what it was, but for the night we stayed it was very homely. Barbara was a superb host and checked us in with flexibility. The house was very clean and had inviting decor. The small kitchen equipped with welcoming biscuits, milk and coffee whilst the rest of the apartment was more than enough space for our family of 3. Our daughter loved the child themed bedroom and took great joy in rummaging through the selection of toys and books. Great nights stay and extra thanks to Barbara for tending to our extra needs! Would recommend to any small family’s looking for a hub in the Poole area.

Cat was extremely helpful she greeted me on arrival and had supplied bread, croissants some very decent coffee and advised on the best pubs to visit. Nothing was too much trouble, a very friendly couple indeed.

Great stay - flat was very clean and practical with 2 very similar bedrooms with ensuite bathroom to each. Short walk to Bournemouth pier / attractions. Everything v clean, new and modern. Jon was very responsive by email, which was really helpful

Lovely and comfortable space, great dog friendly pub 2 mins away. Welcoming of our dog with a water bowl at the ready. Clean and spacious living space, with garden. Would book again 100%

Very sweet little cottage, beautifully decorated with everything you would need inside of it. Great location, with a nice pub down the road. We would definitely stay here again and recommend for all. The only downside is that it is situated on a busy road so at night you can sometimes hear the cars, but we didn’t mind.

I had a great stay in Rebecca’s flat. It’s clean and tidy and well stocked with all you could need for short and longer stays and with some lovely, complimentary goodies. The flat has its own dedicated parking space and the location offers easy access to local shops, cafes and restaurants and is within good access to the beach. Rebecca was flexible in amending my stay duration which I appreciated, thank you.

Really enjoyed my stay had everything I needed. Great location, less than a 10 min walk from beach and centre. Couldn’t have been happier, really felt at home. Host was so friendly and super accommodating. Will defiantly be recommending this place to friends & family , and also revisit myself 😁

We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful and very spacious apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and worked well. Claire's communication was great - quick, clear and understanding. We love the West Cliff area of Bournemouth and highly recommend for families. The only downside was that it being on the second floor of a tall, old property - there were lots of steps up and down!

Lovely stay at Kathryn's flat. Myself and my two small boys spent 2 days here over half term and we had an amazing time. We found parking directly outside, we didn't need to move the car for our whole stay, everything was walking distance. Beach, restraunts, Pier, parks, cinema etc. The flat had all the amenities we needed and it was like a home away from home. I will be sure ti book again next year! Sash

Well…what a lovely stay we had! The views are lovely, even on a grey day and the location was perfect for a stroll to the golden sands of the beach! You can also walk along the coast to Bournemouth which we also did. The apartment is well kitted out and looks just like the pictures. It’s a really lovely place to stay. Comfortable beds, quiet surroundings and enjoyable games to play for children and adults alike. Gemma and Louis were very responsive and friendly and gave as much information as possible about the area, the apartment and anything else you could think of relating to the apartment. We were thrilled with our stay at the Turret Apartment and would definitely recommend to friends and family. We would also return if staying in the area again. Thanks again!

We had another lovely stay at the Coast House and will hopefully be back soon. The house is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Kelly and Scott are quick to reply to messages and are always helpful. We love the Coast House. We use airbnb often but it's the only place we've stayed in more than once.
