The views are just as good as the pictures! The house was spacious and nicely decorated, clean and tidy. The little town has a couple of small grocery type shops, cafes and restaurants. (Doriane gave recommendations and offered to book restaurants which was great when my phone didn’t work.) It is a great location, in a particularly picturesque part of Tuscany and close to lots of the sites of Tuscany. Would recommend. (If you are a particularly light sleeper and like going to bed very early, I would suggest bringing ear plugs, as the old lady next door has her tv loud, but not late.)

We were greeted super warmly by Lorenzo's Mama Alba. The apartment even exceeded their pictures. Really very very nice and so comfortable. Has everything you need. Wonderful location and sensational atmosphere. Lorenzo's numerous tips were all gold value and we were able to enjoy Tuscan cuisine every day. The small town of Anghiari is fantastic, a really beautiful place in the middle of Tuscany. Everything worked out great, from the communication with Lorenzo to the " daily care" by Alba. We will miss their loving way. Thanks again all the goodies. This place and accommodation is absolutely recommended and always worth a trip, even for families (rather infants). glg Fam.Fehrmann

We had a great time at Carlo and Elena's. The fenced garden and swimming pool were a real plus. Not to mention all the little touches Carlo was able to have for us, and even a gift for our little puppy. The place is peaceful surrounded by mountains with beautiful views. We would recommend this house and its host because everything was perfect!

Lovely home within the city walls, with thought and attention given to the renovation of a historic home. While the weather didn’t cooperate as much as we hoped, the limited time we spent on the amazing terrace was noteworthy. Also rare in Italian rentals was the provision of a dryer, which was appreciated. The only drawback was the antique living room furniture, which was limited in space and comfort. Had we been able to use the terrace, this would have been less of a problem. I would recommend this rental!

We stayed here for a week as a family of four along with our 18 months old baby. Alfredo was incredibly quick to respond with anything we needed and we felt at home from the very beginning. The setting and area for me was stunning and incredibly peaceful. The views from the windows offer landscapes across the nearby hills filled with vineyards, olive groves and farmhouses dotted around. Everywhere you looked was like a painting. Across to the left you also had a great view of nearby Peccioli up on the hill which is covered with sunlight in the afternoon. The lovely house which felt modern but with lots of character, is within a small community which includes two restaurants, along with a cheese maker and wineries in walking distance just along the road. It is a few minutes drive to nearby villages and perfect base to discover all the main towns and cities. Only problem we had is that we didn't stay longer! We will be back for sure. Thank you Alfredo for an amazing stay!
