Vacation rentals with a patio in Ponta do Sol

After extensive instruction on entry, parking (right in front of the door) etc, we moved into the apartment. What surprised us was the cleanliness and extensive inventory. Anything you could need was present. And also all sparkling clean. Large terrace with plenty of chairs etc. and a beautiful view over the ocean made it complete. The location is the perfect base for the whole island. You can be anywhere within an hour. In the direct surroundings, there are various eateries. The restaurant across the street is recommended. A large supermarket is about a 5-minute drive away. We had a super vacation and highly recommend Manuel's apartment!

Beautiful patio overlooking the ocean with sunshine in the morning and the afternoon. Convenient place to stay if you have rented a car! Would definitely recommend!

Just amazing accommodation! Same as in the pictures! Very quiet and peaceful. Really very nice host. It is located in a small village about 30 minutes from Funchal and close to everything by car. The place is wonderful to relax. We'll be back.

We were welcomed immediately very friendly by Connie, who gave us great tips for the restaurants in the neighborhood and some fresh vegetables from the garden. Connie and Johnny are always available for any questions, yet you have total privacy. The view is amazing, day and night. All furniture is from the highest quality, fully equipped kitchen, a perfect bed and an awesome bath. Worth every cent, just book it and you will have a dream vacation!

The apartment is veri nice, excellent hygiene, communication with the city is not difficult or if you like hiking, a nice hike of no more than forty minutes to the city center.The owner of the apartment is very responsible and answers questions quickly. Recommended for those who are active all day and want to return to their apartment to be at peace with all the conveniences they have at home.

One of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! We absolutely loved our stay. This apartment is a dream – incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated with so much love and fully equipped with everything you need. The ocean view is breathtaking, and the location is wonderfully peaceful. Filip and his family live above, but you still have complete privacy with your own entrance. Filip is such a kind and helpful host – we received great tips about the area. His wife Renata surprised us with the most delicious cinnamon rolls we’ve ever tasted! The neighbor was also incredibly friendly and gifted us fresh bananas from his own garden. Renata and Filip went above and beyond to make our stay special – they even provided gifts and baby food for our little one. It’s clear that they put a lot of thought into making their guests feel welcome and comfortable. We can definitely recommend this place. If you have the chance to stay here, don’t hesitate – it’s a true gem!

It was just the way we expected, too bad the jacuzzi needed so much time to warm up that we didnt use it.

We just had the most lovely week in Jose's appartment. Elvio met us as agreed and took us to the appartment and showed us everything. The pool was lovely, glad we paid for it to be heated as I can't cope with cold water. The apartment is spotless and modern with everything you need for a break. We spent a week at Kevin's place and it was amazing. The cozy cottage is clean, tidy and well equipped. The view from the large terrace to the sea is fantastic and in the quiet location of the house nothing stands in the way of a relaxing holiday in complete privacy. The airport is about 30 minutes by car. The house offers the perfect location to easily reach all the sights and hikes of the island. Kevin was always available, speaks our language and seems extremely professional. He allowed us to stay in the house longer on the day of departure because we had a late flight - definitely an outstanding host. We felt extremely comfortable here and can recommend this accommodation with enthusiasm.

We just finished 2 magical days at Patricia’s home and cannot say enough incredible things of her place. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL, with an amazing pool and jaw dropping views. In addition to this she was so accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time!!! Uber’s and Bolt’s are easy to call and extremely affordable. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip to her home!!

We had an amazing stay at this adorable Santana cottage! The view was beyond stunning. The hosts are fantastic. They gave us a welcome basket and provided information about hikes and local restaurants.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our week long Easter vacation stay at Alexia’s house. It’s a great spacious, modernly designed and fully equipped place with everything one needs for relaxing holidays. Superb communication, easy check in, nice personal welcome and bottle of wine/local produce made it even better! Our favorite place - the terrace with beautiful sea view for coffee and meals. Easy recommendation as it’s also good central location for exploring Madeira by car.

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

We were very comfortable here, and the welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise, perfect for an evening meal. We highly recommend this home if privacy and relaxation is what you are looking for after a long day of hiking and exploring!

Leonardo let us check in early. Beautiful clean environment right next to the water. He provided a clear and quick video to watch for instructions. Parking is a little complicated but your car is safe in a garage which is nice. Definitely recommend.

Serene sea side getaway with beautiful ocean views and plenty of food options nearby. If you want to explore the Western side of the island this is the perfect spot to serve as a launchpad for said adventures. Amazingly comfortable bed and stunning place to catch the sunset. Two thumbs up!

Very nice apartment with stunning view. Close supermarket to buy everything we needed. Parking in underground garage. Cookies and bananas as a welcome gift were very great.

Great location and views. Plane and street noise did not disturb us as we kept bedroom windows closed. Everything you need to cook. WiFi can be a little spotty. I would stay there again.

Great apartment within walking distance to the center of Funchal. Exactly like the pictures and the terrace is really amazing! Very quiet neighbourhood to stay, even with the ongoing construction sites nearby. Parking space is a real plus as well.
