The Darling of Blackwell

Have fun with the whole family at this newly renovated place. Enjoy the porch swing out front porch, or the covered back patio. It has a full kitchen (granite countertops) with a dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer. It is perfect for a short or long term stay. The beds and pillows are extra comfy, and this home has all the extras that you might need such as a Keurig, BBQ Grill, toaster oven, and more. There is a park close by within walking distance which is perfect for young kids.

The Pecan Cabin is in the middle of a pecan orchard. It is built out of pecan wood. There is much wildlife around the cabin. We often see deer, wild turkeys, armadillo, squirrels, hawks, racoon, and coyote. It is very quiet and peaceful. A great place for star gazing. This is a working pecan orchard. You may see us, mowing, pruning and generally taking care of the trees. There is no hunting on this property. The land is leased for hunting, but they do not hunt in the pecan grove.

This place is super cute. We stayed while a family member was in the hospital. Natascha also let us check in early due to our circumstances. We really didn’t mind all of the noisy traffic and train…. We were exhausted. If you’ve ever lived in a busy city you’ll be fine. Place was perfect for what we were needing at the time.

The home was very inviting and had plenty of sleeping arrangements for a large family. The host has thought of all things when welcoming guest into their home. It’s always the little things that go a long ways. We will be returning and enjoying this home again. Also the furniture/mattresses were top notch quality and very comfortable. The host did not cut any corners when putting this house together. I highly recommend this home.
