We loved our stay at the cottage over an extended Easter weekend. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us (teenage son, my wife and sister-in-law). We went there to get away, enjoy nature and each other and the mission was 100% accomplished! Jennifer's gardens are beautiful and the birds sang to us each morning and evening and all day. We got a tour of their yard and gardens and saw the chickens whose eggs Jennifer shared with us. Also, we loved the art around the cottage. They have some great paintings hanging in there as well as board games and books. I take day trips to the area often to visit some wildlife areas and it was so nice to be close by and easily visit those areas for sunrise and sunset. We all really enjoyed our stay . Kitchen was well-supplied. We were comfy and happy.

I had a wonderful stay at Stephen’s AirBnB! The apartment was beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly clean. It looked exactly like the pictures and had all of the amenities described in the listing. Just a few minutes from downtown and the highway, so it was very accessible to everything, but also tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Stephen sent a lot of great information about the apartment and check-in/ check-out processes, which made it an easy stay. Overall it was a great value for a safe, comfortable place to stay. I absolutely recommend Stephen as a host and will look to stay with him again the next time I visit Edenton.

I've stayed in many AirBnB's over the years and I am so happy I took a chance on this Airstream rental at Big Mill. My hostess, Chloe, has perfected the gift of making you feel welcome and completely at home almost immediately. And, having actually grown up on the farm, she was a valuable resource for whatever I thought I needed. It is an experience I will always treasure, from the peaceful, beautiful location to the kind and welcoming local people. Plus, it was such fun to live in the vintage Airstream!! At any moment I wished, I could simply walk outside and be surrounded by nature. In the cool spring mornings, I would open the door and let the breeze and the bird songs float by me as I worked remotely. It has truly been a welcome respite. I feel blessed and grateful to have been able to enjoy this experience.
