Cottage vacation rentals in Plettenberg Bay

Teachers cottage way exceeded my expectations! Private, peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature. Well decorated and has everything you need. Candy and Ritchie were both wonderful hosts, friendly, very responsive and always willing to help. Loved my stay at Old School Farm!

Great cottage in a great location. We visited in winter and the wood burning oven warms up the entire house. Great bedrooms, comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to be self sufficient. The deck looks out over a fantastic magic garden. The garden has all sorts of hidden corners that must be explored. We picked our dinner veggies, grape fruits, oranges and lemons - there is loads more. If we could give this place 6 out of 5 we would have. Loved it

Linda was amazing- going out of her way to help us with additional nights after we ran into some issues. the units were lovely and the staff so helpful and friendly - moving our luggage to different units due to the additional nights. thank you!!

The host was great, helped when we needed a doctor. The place was private and peaceful.

We stayed two nights at Benny’s place and would’ve stayed longer if we could’ve. It was a wonderful stay - kitchen may be rustic but it is all part of the charm. The photos do not do it justice. Benny’s place is paradise The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. We cooked in the communal kitchen mostly and braai’s out by the communal open braai pit and spent all our days exploring and swimming. There are shops and restaurants close by but we didn’t bother leaving the premises. Benny had so much patience for the kids, and his goats and pack of giant dogs entertained them for hours. The boys even got to take home a bunch of bananas freshly harvested off one of his trees. Thanks so much for the stay, and for the bananas!

Our stay in Knysna was absolutely magical! The surrounding views were breathtaking, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere throughout our visit. There was so much to do – from relaxing in the jacuzzi and enjoying the pools to spending time in the game rooms and park. My toddler had an amazing time, which made the trip even more special for us. Linda’s place was spotless and well-maintained, with the added convenience of being able to arrange extra cleaning if needed. The location is perfect, as it’s close to everything you could possibly need – shops, restaurants, and the most beautiful beaches. We highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a memorable getaway in Knysna! Linda is amazing!!!!

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad! Taryn heeft alles perfect geregeld. Onze verwachtingen waren hoog maar in het echt was de cabin/lodge en omgeving nog zoveel mooier. Écht een dikke tip.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Well kitted out, quiet and peaceful. Rob & Denise were a wonderful help with any requests.

We loved staying at Sue’s place! Was a beautiful secluded spot that made us feel like we weren’t in the hustle and bustle of season but still not a very far drive from beach, hikes, restaurants, etc. My senior dog was able to stay and had a little fenced garden for when we had to leave her at the bnb which she loved! Great spot for a family or a few friends :) Sue was also very responsive and gave clear instructions so everything went smoothly! We will definitely want to make this a regular spot we stay ✨ highly recommended x

Picca is an attentive and considerate host who sent us local updates about weather, closed/open beaches etc. throughout our stay. we ended up not bringing our dogs, but Picca had paid extra attention to ensuring they would also have a great stay. Lake Brenton is magical and perfect if you're keen on a quieter holiday with all the perks of having Knysna super close by.

We love staying at Paula's place, it is a divine cottage complete with everything one needs. Set in a beautiful garden, which our border collies just love. We thoroughly enjoy our holidays at Paula's place and will definitely be back again.

wonderful home in a beautiful location with a kind and responsive host

Es waren wunderbare Tage, die wir bei Gudrun und John verbringen durften. Es war sehr ruhig und erholsam und wir genossen die Tage unter dem Schatten spendenden Avocadobaum; kleine Restaurants in Laufnähe und eine kurze Autofahrt nach Knysna zum "fine dining". Leisure Isle hat einen kleinen Strand zum.Schwimmen und man kann wunderbar spazieren gehen, also alles perfekt. Vielen Dank

Beautiful and cozy cottage. We arrived on a rainy day and the fire place was just what we needed. The garden is a nice touch, we loved having our morning coffee outside. Robin and Priscilla were wonderful hosts, very responsive. The little guide they put together to help guests get around was super helpful.

Gary and Lynne were incredible hosts—kind, attentive, and always mindful of our needs. We had a wonderful time, and our kids absolutely loved the pool, which is beautifully surrounded by nature. The accommodation was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Gary also provided us with a detailed itinerary, which was incredibly helpful for exploring Knysna. We’ll definitely be returning!

My friend and I booked for three nights. I left a day early to spend it with family in a nearby town. Belen did not hesitate to accommodate another friend of mine in the bed I vacated. The unit was small but perfect for our needs More importantly, it was budget friendly and excellent value for money when the cost is split between two friends. Everything was nice and clean, the beds very comfortable and the heater made it a cosy place on some cold nights. Belen was very friendly and helpful with information and instructions. I would recommend the place to anyone looking for a place to sleep in Knysna.

Peaceful vacation, functional home and friendly host. Stayed at Heidi’s home with kids and we LOVED our stay. The pool was a highlight and the parents really enjoyed the coffee maker. Great retreat for a few nights!

Claire was absolutely brilliant she was very attentive to our needs no matter how obvious. The only thing I can complain about is how on top of the neighbour’s we were. Other than that the accommodation was perfect

Lovely stay at Lisa cottage ! Lisa was a lovely and friendly host . Love the small touches of the tea , a chocolate and a little sachet for breakfast . It’s a cosy place and blankets were super warm. Will definitely come back

We really loved staying at Wayne’s place and would return without hesitation. He’s a great host, we knew he was around and contactable if we needed him and he was very responsive and proactive to questions or comms before we got there. It’s a lovely cottage, had everything we needed in a great location.
