The photos do NOT do justice to the beauty of this location. There are literally thousands of archeological sites in the area and the central location is a dream, especially in the winter when it can get cold at night. You know those real estate photos that make a house look larger? Well, Lynn's photos make the place look smaller. Plenty of space for a couple with a convenient kitchen. The biggest attraction is the radiant in-floor heating in the bathroom. So nice to stand after a shower and feel the warmth moving up from the feet. Got a sense of the outdoors between the wide open space around the cabin where a buck was chasing females for hours one evening. Definitely a beauty and at an great price. Can't beat that.

This is the second time we have stayed at Marianne's and we love it. Fenced dog area right off living room so that makes it easy for us during our stay. After busy days it is a a cozy place to come back and crash. Great recliners for morning tea and catch up!!!

We had a wonderful time at this house! It’s beautiful, comfy, warm & extremely inviting! Cynthia, our hostess, was very kind, receptive & thoughtful. There was a big snowstorm coming in to that area on our day of arrival & she offered for us to come a day early to avoid the weather! Very sweet. Beautiful property, clean, well stocked for guests. We will definitely stay at this lovely house again!

We stayed with Joanne and Bill in the spring of 2021 and knew we had to go back some day. We got married last week and stayed again for our honeymoon. The property is the most unique and artistic we've ever booked, and the hosts are an inspiring and welcoming couple, making a beautiful life in the middle of nowhere. See Mesa Verde. See Hovenweep. See Canyon of the Ancients. We can't recommend this stay enough.

This amazing home was wonderfully comfortable and immaculately clean! Everything you need to have a great stay in the charming town of Dolores is on offer at this house. The delightfully comfortable beds, sofa’s, and dining areas made for a very enjoyable visit. The thermostat controlling with gas fireplace for heat was charming and gave the house a cozy, eclectic vibe that we sure found welcoming. Hope to stay here again in the future!

We loved Dan's hilltop hideaway! We had everything we needed and more. The location was superb and we were lucky enough to get snow, just enough to be really beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and playing disc golf. Thanks for everything Dan, one of our favourite AirBnB experiences.

Amber is a great host! She is friendly and provided great communication. Her guest house was the perfect place for our family of 4 to stay. It was very clean and very peaceful. Definitely recommend and would book with her again if we visit the area in the future.

I thought it was a great home. Easy to find, very clean and decorated very nice. Nikki was so helpful and quick to respond to my messages. I would highly recommend using her place and would definitely stay there again when in the area. Thank you for a great experience.

Sue has a beautiful home with phenomenal views from every room. The home was the perfect space for our family of six. Everyone had their own space and the amenities are endless. The house was great, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Nikki was so friendly and helpful when we forgot a bag in the house and let us know immediately after check out.

Great house for a family with two parents, two teens, plus one grandparent — there were a few confusing power switches and unclear how to operate fireplace in living room, but those were very small things; a great place for us while attending a family wedding in Mancos! Lorie Jean was very responsive to our few texts before arrival. The only significant surprise was that the house structure is shared with what looks like a small business or additional small residence — although it seems like there is no access to the rental house from the attached unit, we did hear people moving around in the attached areas a few times. No big deal :) Great spot in an amazing beautiful part of Colorado!
