Vacation rentals in Playa los alemanes

An excellent place to stay! It's a fantastic location: super close to the main street and a short walking distance from tons of restaurants, the Darwin research center, several great beaches, and the main pier. The place was very clean and well-stocked with all the essentials, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The view from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The air conditioning worked well, which we really appreciated, and the WiFi was great. There's also a laundromat right across the street, which was very convenient. Overall, I highly recommend it!

We visited in April of 2025. Having a comfortable space to spread out was truly great so 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms came super handy during out stay. The location could not be better: the fish market with cute sea lions and pelicans, restaurants, bakeries, ice-cream parlors, shops, main pier, tour companies and even a fantastic small local beach with lots of fish to snorkel with right from the shore are a short walking distance away! Jennifer is a great host, very responsive and proactive. She sent a taxi to pick us up from the ferry (you need to take it to get from the airport located on Baltra to Santa Cruz Island) and take us to the apartment. She also helped with recommendations and booking of 2 wonderful boat tours that were the best part of our trip to Galapagos. Jennifer provided detailed instructions on all the steps necessary to board the flight to Galapagos Islands. Overall, Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure our trip was a success! AMAZING PLACE!!!!!! GREAT AREA!!!!!

The suite is in a great location on the way to Tortuga Bay. Quiet and comfortable, I had everything I needed for a long stay. Nestled in a residential neighborhood the suite is peaceful and close enough to town that you can walk everywhere. I did appreciate the air conditioning as it was very hot and humid during my stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

I loved that this Airbnb was in a local neighborhood, away from the tourist areas (though that area is easily a 15 walk away). We ate and shopped at local places and saved some money. Didn't get a chance to cook, as ingredients at shops actually cost the same as eating out (lots of locals places on the main avenue that offer good cheap food) but the kitchen was well equipped. The place was clean, lots of hot water, good AC and fast internet. Overall, good value for money!

We loved staying at the Dock House during our time in Puerto Ayora. It was very convenient to have access to the Ninfa Hotel for the amenities and breakfast available there. The house location is just a short walk away from the hotel but positioned very conveniently to the pier where we departed for all our tours and ferry. It was also close to the supermarket and local restaurants. We really enjoyed walking down to the pier in the evenings to watch all the sealife. The house is large and well equipped. The private yard with the hot tub, seating areas and hammocks was well enjoyed by our family when we needed some downtime after the long day tours. The bathrooms are updated and modern. They supplied a water bottle dispenser with drinkable water which was also appreciated. Overall, we think this was the perfect spot for our family of 5 during our stay in Puerto Ayora.
