Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Playa Hermosa

What a wonderful stay. Can't say enough about this beautiful house. Absolutely perfect for our family. The rooms were spacious and clean, the AC worked wonderfully, and the kitchen was full stocked. Definitely recommend utilizing their service to have the house provisioned before arriving. The daily housekeeping was amazing. We had rented a car, so we didn't need the golf cart option. To be honest, it might be too far a trek for the golf cart to the private club, but that's just nit picking as the weather was 90 degrees plus when we were there. The use of the private club was awesome, and we used it everyday. Right on the beach, great pool side service, and dinners tasted great. Honestly we have zero criticisms. If you are headed to the Tamarindo area, stay here and avoid an all inclusive hotel. You won't regret it.

We traveled seeking a very private and secluded place to do some healing working and book writing as well. And Casa Skov did not dissapoint! Incredible place to truly get away from it all. At night the stars in the sky are so bright, you feel you can reach out and touch them. The sunrises and sunsets are unbeatable over such a sweeping, beautiful view. The house itself is beautiful clean and very modern. Good hot water, water pressure and all the things you want in a home (kitchen very stocked, plenty of dishes, towels, comfortable beds, even some sunscreen and other beach items!). The host was incredibly responsive, never leaving more than 5 minutes before responding back about anything (even our questions about the property or our curiosity about local signs and animals that they graciously answered). Anything you want they will help you with. Lovely place and lovely people. Highly recommend.

We came here with our kids for a week and loved it! The pictured go not do it justice- The home and views Absolutely gorgeous! There was a home under construction next door but looks to be done in the coming few months. We turned up the music on the back porch and didn’t skip a beat! The home had everything anyone could need and the hosts were incredibly responsive and kind! A great stay, Just enough off the grid to be private but still an easy commute to Coco Bay Area!

Lilliana was an excellent host. She had great recommendations and helped with getting groceries and lining up reservations for the resort restaurants. She recommended golf carts for our stay which was a must and had them ready for us when we arrived. Her response time is so quick with any questions we had. The house was perfect for our stay with 5 adults and 5 kids. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a great layout. The air conditioning worked great. They provide plenty of towels for the pool and for showering. The outside area was incredible. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and waterslide. The resort access is a nice bonus. Restaurants were delicious and the gym was more than adequate. Lastly, Lilliana recommended our tour guide Paul Petruchi to help with airport pick up and drop off as well as excursion/tours. He was the best!!! Highly recommend him. Between Paul and Lilliana they made our trip the absolutely incredible.

The Enclave is the perfect little escape in Avellana. Steven, our host, was the best! The very first night he showed up and helped us set up a pack and play for our little one. He was helpful throughout the entire trip and a real highlight. My wife and I agreed the unit looked even better than the pictures. Great amenities, super safe, and the perfect spot if you’re traveling with the entire family. The pool is gorgeous and felt very safe with 24/7 security. You will definitely need to rent a car to get around the area and I don’t recommend driving much at night as the roads are filled with pot holes. Our 14-month had fun but I wouldn’t recommend traveling in this area with a younger child.

The outdoor space in the house is absolutely wonderful! Spent a lot of time in the pool, hot tub, and lounging in the hammock. We had some difficultly finding the place and Jennifer was very helpful. We used Google Maps with no problem in La Fortuna, but I would use Waze here. The house has a ton of security features which made us feel super safe. It’s a great location to the nearby beaches and the grocery store. The house could use a little TLC (some kitchen cabinets falling apart, doors that don’t latch well, toilet paper holders that were loose, and could use a paint job), but none of these things took away from our wonderful time at this house and we would definitely return. Pura Vida!

We were delighted with the location, amenities, and service by Eden Properties - especially Chiara who was always available for questions, and recommendations for activities, tours, and nearby beaches. She made our vacation so enjoyable!

Great location in Tamarindo, clean and comfortable.

This villa was very spacious and relaxing. The kitchen and gas grill allowed for us to make some meals at home which we enjoyed. It was always handy to catch one of the shuttle buses to get around the complex… Or sometimes we would just walk either was fine. We enjoyed some karaoke and the hotel pool. The beach was so quiet and serene, and we were able to do some fun activities straight from there. We had one glitched with a shower that did not drain, but our host did everything she could to get the service people in there and fix it as soon as possible. We enjoyed our stayed very much even the wildlife that walks around your backyard!!

This property was spectacular!!!We loved the location and the views were so beautiful. The infinity pool was a highlight. And the house itself was so clean and modern. The water filter inside the refrigerator was so useful!! Well equipped and the beach chairs and boogie boards were a nice touch! Perfect for 3 couples with plenty of room.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. It is so nice! Very secluded and peaceful yet only 5 minutes from town with the golf cart (big hills to get there so you need some type of transportation!). Communication with Marco and Todd was above and beyond, they made sure we had everything we needed. We hired the private chef for one night and it was amazing! Really loved our stay ♥️

Fantastic beach compound. Christelle's house is the very northernmost on Brasilita where its quiet. House is directly across the road (as close as you can get) from the beach. This is a new house with all the conveniences you would expect on a higher end listing. The outdoor is exactly as pictured and makes it easy to eat outdoors and lounge at the pool. Good security with locking gates and an electrical fence on the wall and an alarm system for the house. Just a great spot if you want to get on and off the beach fast and not be surrounded by lots of people yet be very close to some of the best restaurants in Guanacaste.

The view of this house was breathtaking. We enjoyed visiting the town of Tamarindo & seeing the sunset. If you are looking for authentic Costa Rican food make sure to visit the Sodas (what all their small restaurants are called). We enjoyed every single one of them & are very reasonably priced. We visited playa Conchal which was my favorite beach & not far but also did the Leona waterfall hike and zip lining which was so much fun & beautiful. After our activities we were able to come home to our fresh and clean airbnb and dip in the pool then end the night with Netflix or a TV series. We didn’t have the swing which would’ve been a nice photo prop, but that’s alright. We hope to come back again but with our family or friends, we love Costa Rica so much. My husband really bonded with John the security & would enjoy their night talks. We loved how he greeted us with a smile. We will miss him. Gracias amigo y saludos. Three generations of our family (parents, children and grandchildren) spent 9 days in the Villa enjoying the pool, patio and roomy house. Our cleaner kept the house incredibly clean. The gardener did the same for the pool and yard. The well equipped kitchen had everything we required. The beach chairs and snorkelling equipment was put to good use. We can’t say enough about Ilse. She responded to our questions very effectively. We were very pleased to meet her in person when we arrived at the Villa on the first day and not just exchange texts as so often happens with Air BnB rentals. All in all, we enjoyed swimming or simply lazing in the yard. On other occasions we took day trips to several national park, beaches and zip lining. It was a relaxing holiday in a gorgeous setting. Father Rooster was the perfect setting to celebrate two birthdays. We recommend Villa Alicia for your home away from home.

We had an amazing stay this location! The condo was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The location was perfect - close to restaurants and the beach. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The place is very conveniently located, 12 minutes from Playa Avellanas and about 30 minutes from Tamarindo. The hosts are amazing and Gabriel, in particular, is super open to making sure the customer is comfortable…for example, after check-out we went to the beach. Since we got covered in sand, we asked him if he would allow us to use some showers that were in the Airbnb parking area. Gabriel very kindly allowed us to use it, and even let us use the bathrooms of the place before we left for San José again.

Great lodging here. The treehouse is charming and full of character. The surroundings are filled with nature and beautiful animals (including the separate and well-attended doggie rescue). This was a very pleasant retreat and I would return there if I was back in that side of Guanacaste. Also, the beaches are close from a driving perspective.
