Villa vacation rentals in Playa de San Pedro de Alcántara

This is a lovely Spanish villa in the hills above Malaga. It had plenty of space for our party of 7 adults and one year old child. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the whole house was homely and beautifully presented. The outside kitchen area was much used and there were supermarkets within a short drive to stock up the fridges. The pool area, complete with hammock and sun loungers was delightful and the jacuzzi was a relaxing alternative . A car is essential for getting in provisions and making visits in the area. Jose was definitely a Superhost and always attentive to enquiries . He made some great recommendations for day trips and restaurants. We visited Malaga, Marbella, Mijas, & did the cool zip line at Sunview Pk as well as the Caminito del Rey hike. We had a wonderful week and highly recommend a holiday here.

Easter 2025 We had a very nice week. Accommodation seamless, detailed instructions provided as you go. 6 adults and 4 children. The house is very close to the beach. During our stay (April), there was 1 restaurant nearby and 1 restaurant on the beach -very good food. No complaints, drove around a bit. Nearby 2 ports with lots of restaurants, coffee shops. The house is nice, the common areas are very spacious, well appointed rooms. Very good kitchen equipment (washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, coffee maker, oven, etc.), pool and padel were basically only at our disposal. Great view of the beach from the deck and balcony. Parking spaces on the property - we had 2 cars. Contact with Jacques was very good, leaves guests free, responsive to comments/suggestions. The water pressure in the shower needs to be improved - the bath in order. I recommend a villa for large families (2+2, 2+2, 2).

We had an amazing stay at this villa! It was perfect for our group of 16 — super spacious, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. The hosts were also fantastic, really helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with a big group!

An absolutely perfect stay in Estepona, the house is beautiful, the bedding is very comfortable, the setting is magical close to the sea, a little paradise! A very warm and accommodating welcome because we were able to have the keys before 4pm, which allowed us to enjoy even more. We will come back to it with great pleasure! Absolutely stunning villa - I can’t find the words to describe how beautiful it is. Everyone on our trip was overwhelmed by it. The kitchen was well stocked and very well equipped. Couldn’t fault a thing about our stay. The grounds were fabulous and it was very useful to be able to drop our bags off before check in. There’s lovely outdoor dining in various areas of the grounds. There’s outdoor bar is very useful for pool days. 10/10

A beautiful villa - the photos didn't do it justice - the views were really lovely wherever you were in the large terrace and gardens, which were well kept with beautiful pots. And all areas to sit were quite private too, despite the fact that there were plenty of villas all around us. And we just couldn't fault the villa itself - gorgeous spacious interior, very tastefully appointed and furnished. The kitchen had everything you could need for a stay - even a great selection of herbs and spices to cook with! The gardens were really well kept and both medlar trees were covered with ripe medlar fruits, so we could even pick fresh fruit to put on our breakfasts each morning! We would all be very happy to book again.

Roger and Marie-Claude are the most charming hosts . Location is excellent with wonderful views. We were attracted to the outside spaces and swimming pool which didn't disappoint.

We truly enjoyed our stay at villa. Everything worked as expected and the pool area was marvellous for all kind water activities. In addition the table tennis was also really nice to play. Two buildings fit also very well for our group (10 adults, 3 kids). Only thing was that you always forced to use car, no restaurants/shops in walking distance, but that was also known beforehand.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Mae’s place! The villa was huge and had enough room for our family of 8. Everything was spotless including the pool and the house is very well stocked. We will definitely stay here again. Great hosts!

Enjoyed every minute staying here. The host was responsive and helped us organise a food shop as the flight we were on was late in the evening. The check out was flexible and the villa itself was lovely with plenty of space and bathrooms for everyone. We visited the restaurant nearby and also walked into La Cala which only took 10 mins. Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Had a great stay at Simon’s place. Stayed there for 9 nights. Close to bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Christian was great throughout our stay. Very helpful and friendly. We will be back

Yuri was the best host, he responded very quickly to messages/ enquiries. He was extremely helpful, the house was exactly what we expected it to be, it was clean and the people he recommended as private chefs were extremely helpful, food was the best and they even cleaned after themselves. Cannot wait to come back again!

Ivan's service was excellent, the Villa was wonderful but it has a problem of extreme humidity in the walls that must be solved immediately because the mold that comes out of them is not healthy. During our stay it was treated with a liquid or paint, but a few days later the mold came back. The problem is in the back of the house, which is buried in the garden without any moisture insulation. It's a shame.

We had a fantastic stay at Carlos’ apartment! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how bright, spacious, and clean it was. The large windows let in so much natural light, making it a perfect space for groups of friends or family to gather and enjoy quality time together. Carlos is an excellent host—he truly understands the needs of a larger group, ensuring the kitchen and dining supplies were well-stocked, and even providing plenty of cleaning supplies so everyone could pitch in. Carlos also gave us a great restaurant recommendation—Mesón Andrés—which was absolutely amazing in terms of taste! He was always super friendly, responsive, and quick to assist with any minor issues. We also tried to use the heated pool, but since the weather had been quite cold and rainy (around 10°C), it wasn’t as warm as we had hoped—still usable, but more lukewarm than truly warm.

We came for our friends 40th birthday. We were 4 families with 2 kids each. Jorge helped us so much to feel like home. The property was so lovely really felt like a home away from home. We would love to come back. Thank you very much we so recommend Jorge's place.

The villa was the perfect accommodation for a family holiday, the villa was so clean and had everything we needed for ourselves and our young children. The Villa is in a quiet cul de sac and was so peaceful and quiet. The pool was clean and warm and there was a large well kept garden for the children to play. There is a verity of shops, bars and restaurants all within close walking distance and the neighbourhood felt very safe. Overall the owners had really thought about everything that would make your stay relaxing and comfortable. I will definitely be returning when we visit Calahonda again.

We had a lovely stay, the villa is beautiful, with gorgeous views of the sea and mountains. Unfortunately, we did not have the winter sun we were hoping for during our stay but this did not stop us all enjoying the Villa and surrounding area. A short (but very steep) walk up the hill takes you into the pueblo with lots of restaurants/shop etc. The bus stop at the top of the road lets you explore the local area with lots of routes. The playroom/snug is great if travelling with children like we were. Tom was also very helpful and responsive.

Fantastic views! We had a lovely stay to celebrate 70th birthday with the family. Property suited us well, but be aware there are lot of steps and different levels so not ideal for elderly with reduced mobility or for small children. Hire car made it easy to do shopping and explore nearby attractions. I would not hesitate to book Casa Kodak again!
