Beachfront vacation rentals in Playa de Punta Umbría

The stay over the weekend was very complete, we went with my elderly parents and we were very comfortable, the house has everything, not to mention the views and the good location. The hostess is very kind, she gave us useful information and was attentive to our well-being. We would definitely repeat!

We have had a wonderful week 2 families together, we so much enjoyed the property and our time for rest & relaxation. Amazing experience in this villa. The Host was exceptional always there to respond and take care of things and it shows that he cares about the place. I would recommend this to anyone. Place was clean and cozy. In a very private development. If I ever get a chance will book it again. I already forwarded to few friends in London to have that experience. Thanks Mr Helder. A great place for your visit to Sanlucar - right by the beach and an easy walk to the centre of town for the bars and bodegas. Clean and comfortable, and Luisa was always quick to respond to messages.

The best location. One step away from the beach and the promenade. Shopping area within a 5-minute walk. Rocio was helpful at all times and super quick to answer. Everything was easy. We're a married couple with a girl and two dogs, and we've had no problems. Cozy house with all the necessary utensils. Thank you Rocío for hosting us at your place. See you next time

The apartment is excellent, in very good condition, clean and equipped with everything. fantastic views and well located to visit PN Doñana, the beach, restaurants. the only problem but it is a common thing in Matalascañas are the stairs, for people with reduced mobility it can be an inconvenience. we will definitely be back again Thank you Victor and Paqui

Lovely place with a large terrace overlooking the harbour. Beautiful place to sit in the evening and have a drink. Everything was great and would come back. Only word of warning is that we followed the app's directions and ended up in the wrong place. Make sure to get a PIN from the owner who is very responsive.

It was wonderful from start to finish. It was exactly what it said it would be. The house was clean , well presented with all that you need in terms of kitchen utensils and crockery . The roof terrace was amazing with a covered seating area, large table and bbq. The local area was super easy to navigate, all on the flat and the square with an abundance and variety of restaurants was a hop, skip and a jump from the front door but far enough away that it wasn’t noisy. A local shop had all you needed and there was a fish and vegetable market a short walk away. The bikes, beach chairs and parasol were a great addition. Will be heading back next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loft. It really felt like a little piece of paradise! We loved how immersed in nature it felt & particularly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, being able to watch the sunset every night from the terrace & being able to make our own freshly squeezed orange juice from the plentiful oranges. The daily visits from the dogs was also a joy. Jurgen & his parents were lovely hosts. Lots of places to visit nearby & great eating recommendations too. We will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The highlight was the incredible view of the Ria Formosa—absolutely breathtaking. The secure underground parking was a great convenience, and the location couldn’t be better, with fantastic seafood restaurants just a five-minute walk away. A perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Had an enjoyable stay at Cristina's place. The pellet burner gave off lots of heat, and was much easier to use than we anticipated. It's a short walk to the village centre, all the shops, bars and restaurants. The outstanding feature for us was the close proximity to the marisma nature reserve. Lovely walks around the reserve, in beautiful surroundings amongst the relaxing songs and calls of all the birds. Also close to the river, where we could watch the local fishermen at work. The locals are very friendly, and Cristina and Pepe were very helpful and responsive at all times.

If you want an oasis of peace and tranquility then this is it. We spent 4 days here and loved the quiet and the nature, yet only 5 minutes from Tavira. Guilherme was a perfect host, always quick to respond and very helpful with access and checkout. He also provided a long list of great restaurants which we used every day! It is a beautiful Quinta, very well presented and maintained - we shall return.

We thought Bruno's place was great from the start, just as we expected. A little paradise surrounded by nature. The SZ was relatively large and the bed nice and wide, so 2 adults could sleep well in it. The living area with sofa, dining table and kitchenette was large enough to stay in and prepare breakfast in the kitchen, which we ate on the large chill porch. We didn't cook, we preferred to visit various restaurants in Olhao and Tavira. Day and night it was very quiet. We slept very well - thanks to the air conditioning. It wouldn't have been possible without them. June was hot. She cooled all the rooms. The bathroom and the separate Toilet was small but ok. Everything was picobello clean. We fell in love with Mimi, the house cat, and also with Mia, who had just arrived and was always hungry. We used the pool to cool off. Bruno and Sara are extremely sympathetic and lovable. We will be happy to come back!

A Perfect Stay at Casa Clara! Our stay at Casa Clara in Santa Luiza was nothing short of magical. The house itself is stunning—elegantly designed, spotlessly clean, and filled with natural light. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, blending modern comfort with authentic Portuguese charm. The outdoor space was a dream: peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing mornings. We especially loved the proximity to the charming village of Santa Luiza, which feels like a hidden gem. There are good restaurants, supermarket/bakery & pharmacy 2 mins walk from the house. Check in/out was seamless & communication with Patricia was excellent. We felt truly at home and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend Casa Clara to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in the Algarve.

An unbeatable stay. Manolo and Carmen are a married couple who took great care of us, we felt right at home. In addition to their proximity, they were always available for whatever we needed. And the location, the price, the place... it's a bargain

The location is just perfect for those who prefer spending time actively. The beach is just 1 minute away from the house, and the nearest supermarkets are 10-15 mins by walk. If you have a bike, don’t miss an opportunity and have a ride to the natural park Doñana which is only 15 mins away by bike. At Alberto’s place you can find almost anything you need to spend your time and enjoy the vacations.

Wonderful apartment, right on the beach, close to many restaurants and wineries. Very clean and fully equipped. The Host will always be available to help. On top of that, and without us knowing in advance, the Feria de la Manzanilla was taking place right next to the apartment. Wonderful

This is a gorgeous apartment, overlooking the fabulous Monte Gordo beach. The weather was a bit chilly until the last couple days, so we didn't get quite as much "sitting on the deck" time as we would have liked, but that is Mother Nature at work. Odete's apartment was perfect for the 4 of us, but it would easily accommodate twice that many. We loved it and had a terrific time.

Fantastic location right in the center with everything close by, super clean and cozy stay with a great terrace. I traveled with two friends, we had a great time and the host's attention was great, we felt super good, we hope to return.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, very well-equipped, and had everything we needed to feel at home. It’s in a perfect location , just a short walk to the boat that takes you to the beach, which made everything super convenient. The area itself is incredibly charming and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the outdoor BBQ area where we grilled a few meals, and the beautiful lemon tree — we picked fresh lemons and made delicious lemonade! The bathrooms were clean and in great condition too. We truly loved our time here and can’t wait to come back next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, Rosa was very accommodating and friendly, when we arrived she gave us a full tour. The accommodation and surrounding land is stunning, such beautiful views from our villa. The pool was such a nice addition. Plenty of seating around the pool. The local village Tavira is a lovely place to visit, and only 10 mins by car. The villa is very private and remote. And the river/lagoon is a short walk to enjoy - there are many crabs to watch too! We found our time here very peaceful and enjoyable. We barely encountered other guests, it was so quiet. Our coffee machine stopped working during the time, and Rosa came straight round with a replacement. She is a credit to the accommodation!

The apartment is much better than what is described, it is super close to the beach, it is very spacious, very comfortable beds, it has everything you need to feel at home with all the amenities. We traveled with 3 friends and our little ones, ages 4 and 5, and I can say that it is ideal for the little ones, super safe, comfortable, because it has an outdoor space to play inside the house. The parking inside the residential area, within walking distance of the apartment, has made it a great place to stay, with small children, all the facilities are appreciated. The host left us a wonderful welcome basket designed for the type of travelers we were, and the children were delighted. He was also super flexible with the checkout, so I was able to enjoy the day of checkout on the beach until late, when we left. Next year we will definitely repeat our mothers' getaway and I will also come with my husband, because I fell in love with the apartment and the kindness of the host.
