House vacation rentals in Playa de Punta Umbría

I stayed with two friends and as soon as we arrived we felt at home and relaxed. We had everything needed and there were nice extras such as water bottles in the fridge, local biscuits and coffee pods for the machine. The weather wasn’t great when we were there so did drive to the center but it wasn’t far and in nicer weather we would have walked. There was a large hyper market near by with everything we needed. The house was large and spacious but felt cosy and friendly. We really enjoyed our time there. Thank you.

Olga’s flat turned out to be exactly as described and exactly as we had hoped. It is just inside the gateway into the Convento, which seems to have a lot of other holiday flats in it. The building is beautiful, the (unheated) pool is beautiful and a very cool place to hang out on a few sunloungers or the grass. Olga provided bath towels on request at no extra cost. The apartment hosted us as a family of 5 very well. At times a little damp, but it was very clean and well equipped. Check in time was flexible (Olga allowed us to arrive early at 2pm) and check out was easy as we left the keys in the flat. The location is a walk of less than 10 mins to the centre of Tavira, it is just round the corner from the fresh indoor market, 5 mins walk from a small grocery shop and on the doorstep for the salt flats and walk/road out to Caia Quatro Aguas. We ate (& drank) well at The Black Anchor Irish pub (try the onion rings), O Noel (try the clams) and Mira (great tapas). We hope to return!

We loved our 5 night stay here. It’s a beautiful house in a wonderful location. You’ll need a car to travel around but it’s just around 45 mins from Faro/airport and very easy to get to other nearby places. Local amenities are good for food shopping. Beach around 25 mins walk. Stunning views from the property, great to have use of pool and we loved the bbq and breakfast outside option. Fantastic break. Mateus a very responsive host.

We stayed for four days, everything was perfect, clean and comfortable, Juan Antonio was aware of everything anticipating our questions, a ten stay, we will try to return, we have been in the area several times and we love it...

We loved our short stay at Casa Boa Vista. The weather was great for February, so we even got to use the pool. The beautiful views definitely do justice to the name of the house! Communication with Gabriele and the managers went smoothly. Very friendly and always available. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home Gabriele. The house was superb for a group of friends to spend the week. Excellent rooms. Bathrooms are large. Kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. It was super comfortable to hang around in and just be with friends. The area was quiet but close enough to Tavira and other towns. while we were there the hot water quit, I notified the owner and within 2 hours it was fixed. This is first class.

Great villa, really spacious and super well equipped! The pool was lovely and the communication from the host was perfect! The villa is located walking distance to a number of restaurants, supermarkets and of course the beach! I’d stay here again :)

We had a fantastic stay at Ana’s place, such a peaceful & quiet place. In less than 2 minutes we were between the trees with our dogs. We had everything we needed in the house, clean & cosy.

excellent location, away from the noise of the city. the beach is a few dozen meters away. the pool is the right size, the children enjoyed it. Laury, given her job, was a big plus by advising us around Mazagon to visit. the stay s:went very well and Laury is very responsive and respectful. finally, we recommend this address for those who wish to alternate beach and pool.

Nuno and Ana are wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. The house is equipped with all ( and even more) comforts; really everything you need is present. We enjoyed the house, the garden and the location!!!

We were greeted by a woman who showed us how to use the TV remotes, pointed out features around the unit, gave us keys and answered questions. The place is located conveniently for using public transportation. Easy walk to the bus and train stations. Full grocery store and the mercado are within easy walking distance and a small convenience store is even closer. Bedroom was comfortable with plenty of linens, living room had a selection of books with throw pillows/blankets for rainy days. The bathroom was clean and larger than expected. We used the kitchen appliances regularly - everything was clean and worked properly. There is a rack for drying clothes on the rooftop terrace. It was very quiet at night. We enjoyed a snack and glass of wine on the rooftop terrace a few times and sipped morning coffee on the lower level patio. It was a pleasant stay and we are happy to recommend this airbnb.

La Maison Citron is a beautiful house to stay in the lovely village of Santa Luzia. Quirky!Nicely decorated! Walking distance to everything. Kitchen is very well equipped. We've had a great communication between us, Valérie was very responsive. Didn't get to meet her but met Armenia who was very helpful too. Totally recommend a stay there. Merci Valérie & Armenia!🤩

Inês was quite communicative and available before, during, and after our stay. The house was in line with expectations and is close to the beach and the central area of Altura. It has a good space and plenty of entertainment options. In general, we liked it very much and recommend it!

House with a lot of charm, it is difficult to translate in words the magic that it feels to be inside and outside, the wonderful pool. A lot of taste and affection in every corner.

Location,location,location! In the heart of a truly authentic Portuguese town. Some good restaurants, fantastic fish market and plenty of good supermarkets. Lovely beaches and towns nearby and a 15 minute ferry to Spain is a must. Well appointed accommodation which would be ideal for 2 couples or a family with older children. Finally the roof terrace is fantastic!

Fantastic apartment, more like a villa in truth, with lots of outside space for laundry, barbecues etc. Wilson was a brilliant host who responded to all our questions in a timely and polite fashion. Ideal place for 4 adults or families with 2 beds and bathrooms, good wifi and easily walkable to all the facilities of a very nice beach resort. Thanks again for a great stay.

We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the tranquility of the accommodation very much. The view in the garden and on the terrace are very nice. The beach is fantastic and the kids had a lot of fun in the Bimmelbahn to the sea. The park is very well maintained and offers many leisure activities, the staff are very friendly. We recommend this place.

Lovely 3 night stay. Great location in the heart of Tavira. Ground floor apartment in a traditional house, with an enclosed garden. Main bedroom is light and comfortable with view of garden. Good shower in bathroom. Large living room with French doors onto the garden patio, Kitchen is functional and well equipped to allow self catering. There is construction next door and some noise on weekdays, but it was not intrusive. Very quiet in evenings. Maria was friendly and a great host. We had an enjoyable stay.
