Incredible experience in Puerto Viejo! The house is surrounded by nature, which makes it perfect for resting and disconnecting. You can hear the sounds of the forest and see animals from the garden, a unique experience! In addition, the beach is literally a minute's walk away, ideal for enjoying the sea at any time of day. The house is comfortable, well-equipped and very clean. The host was friendly and attentive at all times. Definitely a place I'd love to go back to. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility and connection with nature without leaving the sea!

To start Jerson is a super friendly , helpful and attentive person. And about the place you can walk to the nearest beach, to the supermarket, if you want to go out at night to eat because you prefer to stay in the tranquility of the hotel, Jerson congratulates you an express that offers you all kinds of food. The facilities are very nice , all very clean and super safe and quiet. I would recommend it to the thousand 👌🏽

Daniel went above and beyond to make sure we had nothing short of an amazing stay here in Casa Cocles! Daniel was checking on us through the trip to make sure we knew of the local spots and must-visit areas. He also greeted us with some fresh cut fruit to munch which was very refreshing! The location is at a really convenient spot that allowed for worry-less travel between different activities. We ended up visiting the animal rescuer center, countless Puerto Viejo restaurants, Cahuita National Park, BriBri tribe territory, lots of beaches , etc and these all felt very accesible and easy to get to with or without a rental car. Some tours even offer to pick us up exactly at Casa Cocles for free! We were super grateful and happy with our stay, and will definitely be coming back here for future getaways!

The location of the Airbnb is great if you want to be in a quiet place (there is little going on in Punta Uva). The apartment is located directly on the beach (across the street). There are few neighbors who are not always there, everything is Airbnbs. We found the apartment clean, spacious, it had everything we needed. The communication was great, the hosts are very courteous and nice, quick to respond. We would come again!

This is a really special place, felt very lucky to stay. Silvia was super helpful, and recommended things to do and places to eat.

This was s last minute booking and we ended up getting in late at night. Kristel was very helpful at the late hour and we had a terrific stay! It was a little difficult to find in the dark and rain but easy to find in the daytime!!

We came to the jungle villa in 2018. We were so enchanted by this house and the beauty of its surroundings that we knew we would be back again. Came back again for my birthday this year and yes it felt like home!! The people, the FOOD in the local restaurants, and the beauty of this country is amazing! Looking forward to returning someday. This home is a gem in disguise. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful. We came here for a week. It was a long drive from the San Jose international airport but well worth it. Very sweet local town. The people in the town are really nice. The food is absolutely delicious and clean. Ice cream is delicious. We had a wonderful vacation, celebrating our sister’s 60th birthday. We loved having the pool to relax at during the heat of the day. Great kitchen to make breakfast everyday. Grocery store is not far at all. The dog and 2 cats are so cute and sweet. I 100% recommend this beautiful paradise home to everyone. 🩷 Susana was fantastic!! Thank you to the owner for sharing your home

Located in a paradisiacal garden where you can watch countless animals. Marise patiently showed us around and showed us a wide variety of animals. The property is located directly on the sea and Marise even provides beach towels. Another plus is the daily housekeeping. We highly recommend the fabulous place and would be happy to come back any time.

It was a great stay. Pretty close to Puerto Viejo center and to the beach, easy to go walking everywhere. Was very clean and the attention from Jerome was amazing.

What a slice of paradise! We were able to check-in early, and instantly felt right at home. Sylvio, the host, is friendly, funny, and an excellent cook! He made us pizza one night that only compares to what we have had in Italy. He made local recommendations and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed on a daily basis. The property is private, with toucans, parrots, and so many beautiful lizards everywhere. We would drink coffee by the pool each morning and watch the wildlife. We had a Vespa/motor bike to get back and forth into the heart of Cahuita and it was perfect. Otherwise, we did not mind walking places. The beach is directly in front of the hotel and was empty every time we walked down there. We will be back, very soon. Thanks Sylvio!!

This airbnb is exactly as the pictures. It is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Things to note is that only the lower bedrooms have AC. The upstairs living room was very nice! The house is private, but a lot further out from town so you’ll need transportation to and from as there are not many restaurants nearby. The host, Jorge was always very responsive and helpful. Overall we had such a great stay and can’t wait to be back.

Enjoyed another stay at Fabian’s! Had everything we needed, in a great location, with a little walk to the beach. Nearby restaurants and grocery stores are convenient, along with abundant nature. I recommend!

Happy House is the perfect name for this oasis! Our family was so lucky to get to stay there. The property is large and private. The covered patio ( we call it a California room in California) was amazing. The indoor/outdoor kitchen and living space was a great place for our family to relax after many adventurous days in Costa Rica. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. There were geckos and bugs in the covered patio area but my boys loved that part! The beach is beautiful but there is a rip current right in front of the house but we walked a short distance in both directions and found great swimmable ocean for our kids. It was a great end to our Costa Rican vacation! Thanks Steve for opening up your special space to visitors! Pura Vida!

Our group of 4 had an absolutely fantastic experience during our trip. The unit is gorgeous and is very conveniently located close to restaurants and supermarkets, as well as being within walking distance of secluded beaches. There were wild animals within the property itself and we were able to take videos of monkeys, agutí (small animals similar to a mini-capybara), and many different exotic birds. The master bedroom is reminiscent of something from a movie with its screened doors and the breeze coming from the water while you hear the wildlife. Both Pablo and Carlos were phenomenal during our visit and were the most responsive and accommodating hosts that I’ve dealt with to date. They went above and beyond what I would normally expect and it made the experience top notch. I recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for a truly unique and beautiful place to stay while visiting the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and wants to experience the true meaning of “pura vida”.

this place is so beautiful. the location, the quiet street, far enough from town to feel secluded, even though there are neighbors. the beach is beaitoful and quiet as well. we would love to stay here again and we'll be recommending it to friends. David was a pleasure to talk to and was available and quick to respond whenever needed. we only ever rent open air homes so we are used to what comes with it -occasional bugs, occasional issues with water or internet. it's the price you pay for wanting to stay in such a location and to be so close to nature. from the house we saw agoutis, green macaws, toucans, monkies, and a variety of other tropical birds. we enjoyed boogie boarding in the ocean, playing in the waves, walking the beach, sitting and listening to the birds, playing games on the giant table, and seeing the area. we always felt safe and again, David was only minutes away and quick to respond.

Kenaki is absolutely gorgeous! It's steps to the beach, full of beautiful trees and plants, and we even saw a sloth and her baby on the property! We stayed for a month and we really felt comfortable in our temporary home. We had a cleaning service every day. We felt very safe leaving our expensive equipment at the lodge - computers & camera - as Isabelle and her family were often in the main house and our bungalow had an alarm on it. Isabelle and her family were very kind, amiable, attentive and prompt in fulfilling any requests we had. The only downside to the rental is that wifi is really terrible in that area. I had to work during my time there and almost never had wifi in the bungalow or even at the main lodge. We bought a hotspot to be able to get wifi using the cellular signal and even that was impossible with our Movistar hotspot. We ended up having to rent a car (since it's about a 15 min drive into town from Kenaki) and use the wifi in town every day to stay connected. If there had been more cellular connectivity or working wifi our stay would have been perfect. If this isn't an issue for you, and you're renting a car then I highly recommemd Kenaki and Isabelle.

It‘s the second time we were able to spend time at Jose‘s house / cottage on the beach. The house is still old, but the beach vibes complete with „surfboard-shower“, hammocks, outside living area (family room) and direct access to the beach are also still there. We are already looking forward to the next time.
