We had a great time at this very well-equipped, clean and as-advertised accommodation. Direct access to the sea is a real asset, ideal for enjoying at any time of day. The host, who lives just below, was very welcoming and available. Note, however: the nearby road can be noisy in the evening, which can bother people sensitive to noise. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks for your hospitality!

Wow! What a wonderful place to stay. The view and surroundings are beautiful, the room was perfect and Nikolas and all of the staff were so friendly. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and Nikolas was always on hand to help us with taxis and local recommendations. The included breakfast was exceptional and the rest of the meals we had at the restaurant were some of the best food we had on our trip. It’s a bit of a hike back from the beach up the hill but the taxis are very cheap if you’re feeling lazy! We’ve already recommended Chrissida to friends and family and we will definitely stay again next time we visit Crete :)

We had a pleasure of staying at this wonderful apartment. From the start Nico was incredibly welcoming and always available to help. Whether it was answering questions or offering great tips on local attractions and must-see spots, Nico’s helpfulness made our stay very much enjoyable. The apartment itself was very clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to find even the smallest details had been considered, like a first aid kit. The view from the apartment was beautiful, and being so close to the beach was an added bonus—just a short walk and you’re there! If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable stay with a welcoming host and a prime location, this apartment is a perfect choice - definitely recommend!

Our plane landed more than an hour late, around 11 p.m. local time. We had to rent a car and we practically arrived at the place at one in the night. The very kind Angela was there waiting for us to welcome us, I have made many trips and no host welcomes you at that time. Angela showed us the activities, the beaches to visit and the town where her house is located (Platanias), she is super kind, helpful, friendly. Responds to messages immediately. In the following days, Angela came by twice to empty the trash and change the towels and sheets. Considering that we only stayed 6 nights with her, it's incredible, it had never happened to me. We had to check out at 11:00 a.m., but we had the plane in the evening so we wanted to take advantage of the day to go to the beach. Angela was super helpful in letting us take a shower even after hours. Thank you Angela for this stay!! Costanza and Simone❤️

We spent a week at this accommodation and were very satisfied with our experience. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the outdoor terrace, perfect for relaxing moments. The hosts were extremely communicative and always ready to assist us with any situation, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the location is ideal—perfectly situated near all the main tourist attractions, making it easy to explore everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place with friendly hosts.

Located in a quiet, narrow alley in the old part of Chania. Free parking is just around the corner and, as well as good restaurants, have been suggested to us by Maria. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even fruit ready and in the fridge were the main food and water. The bed was very cozy and we could sleep well. On the doorstep we could have breakfast at a small table or have a glass of wine in the evening. Maria is a very warm host! We had very nice days at her place! Thank you so much!

We loved our stay and would definitely stay again! The apartment looks just like the photos and is really well maintained and immaculately clean. Plus they’ve also thought of everything, it’s really well equipped. The location is great, just a couple of minutes walk to all the old town restaurants and bars. Plus the rooftop is a real sun trap in the afternoon, we loved hanging out by the pool.

Nice apartment in the upper part of Agias Marina. The exterior is spectacular, with a pool, terrace, good views…The hosts are very nice and attentive. The apartment is spacious. Arrival by car a little complicated, but the directions of the landlords facilitates a lot of things. In short, highly recommended.

It was an incredibly great stay. Frank is a great host - very helpful, relaxed and likeable, and gave us many useful tips. We absolutely recommend the accommodation with the beautiful pool and the fantastic view of the sea, and we want to come back!

It is a pleasure to add our 5 star review to all those on record. The photos, location/accommodation descriptions are exact. On arrival you will discover the stunning views, infinity pool and everything is even more enchanting than you may have anticipated. Kyanon House is a beautifully equipped home with numerous “extras” that come as a surprise! As others have noted, Maryellen is an exceptional and welcoming host. A small car rental is recommended to best explore the area, parking in Chania is a challenge but over 25 days we always found a spot. Tip: Do not miss the custom hand rolled ice cream at Domenico in Old Town! Sincere thanks to Maryellen and her parents for a wonderful travel experience!

I am from the United States and my daughter and her friend are traveling throughout Europe. They both happen to have the same birthday and it worked out that it would occur in Chania, Greece. I contacted the host and explained the situation. They contacted me back immediately to discuss and were extremely helpful, sending me a ton of options from sunset boat trips to day long excursions. In the end, we agreed to have some very nice person from the team put some wonderful decorations in their room along with chilled wine, a cake, and spa gift certificates. It was perfect and was very reasonably priced. I strongly recommend when in Chania.

We have stayed in Chania 5 times and all our accommodations have been lovely, however, we love this street and so looked for some accommodation here. We could not have been happier with Casa Nova, it is just stunning , we were lucky enough to have the top floor with the roof terrace , which was amazing and we used every day. The living space was just like the photos and the bed was really comfy. The whole apartment was decorated with so much style. Vardis was quick to answer any questions we had and sent us such in-depth information about the area restaurants etc. This has been our favourite place so far in Chania and will remain that as we plan to return year on year Thankyou x

Everything was great! Beautifully spacious and clean. The jacuzzi is beautiful with the view, which is generally great to enjoy the sunset on the balcony. Really great for a few days, otherwise it could be uncomfortable with the wardrobe in the corner and the small sink. The first night was unfortunately not so good because you did not know how the jacuzzi works, but then everything was good. Bed also super comfortable! Very nice quiet surroundings in the village with animals as neighbors

Perfect location in Chania, literally in the middle of the action of the old town. Every restaurant on our list was a short walk away. It was very easy to stop back at home to freshen up and go back out at any time. The house itself is meticulously renovated with a luxurious modern feel, yet still preserving the elements of the 500 year old history of the house. Three floors, two bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms. There are four outdoor spaces if you include the ground floor patio which we enjoyed sitting and listening to the music of the bar next door. The hosts are very helpful and their family’s beach club is the nicest one on Paralia Agia Marina. We spent almost a full day there. We rented a car for two of our days to get to the beaches and Nancy showed us where to park for free for extended periods. You can park closer for a fee, and the pedestrian street is open to cars early in the morning so I was able to drive right up to the door to load out. I would definitely stay there again.

Mike was great from the start…we booked last minute and he texted me immediately. He made everything very easy and was extremely friendly when we got there to check in. He showed us everything about the apartment that we needed to know and gave us lots of tips on where to go to eat and to see the best sites. The rooftop space was beautiful and the apartment was very close to everything in the area… We were able to walk to everything! I would definitely recommend staying there… Thank you, Mike!

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. I think it was the perfect location just outside the old town - very easy to walk into old town or along the marinas to many restaurants and shops yet also easy access for tours and outings outside the city. I loved Crete and would recommend this Airbnb to others. Some of the restaurants we enjoyed in the area (easily walkable from the apartment) include Maiami, El Gato, and SALIS. We also enjoyed a cooking lesson, snorkeling boat trip, and olive oil tasting.

Andreas was a friendly and responsive host who answered our questions promptly. The flat was well equipped and in an excellent location very close to the old town. We would definitely stay again when next back in Chania!

Great stay with wonderful sunsets and a great beach just a short drive away with nice snorkeling. Would certainly stay here again. Very responsive hosts and the place was very clean and well taken care of. Also was nice to have a little emergency medicine kit, some after sun lotion, and even some food and wine for the first night. Great attention to detail and we all felt right at home. One of the nicest places I have stayed in terms design and function. Great views of the sea and surrounding landscapes.
