Celebrated our parents 60th wedding anniversary. Gary was right there to greet us at our arrival and chatted with my parents making them feel special and at ease. Property is exactly as it is portrayed in photos. Clean, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing all around! The sunsets were amazing! The family has taken great memories with us for a lifetime. Loved our time here with our college aged kids. It was so great to get away and just chill in a beautiful home with a super deliciously warm and comfy temperature pool. We read and ate and lounged, played games and sat by the water and swam and napped and watched football all together. Also loved fisherman’s village… then had some sunset family photos taken. This was our Christmas trip to our boys and their girlfriends, and it was perfect. Relaxing. Comfy beds. Well appointed kitchen. Would recommend

Very cute tiny house! If you're in your 20s/30s this is a cool place to stay, especially of you plan to depart from the Punta Gorda airport the following day (less than a 5 min drive!!!). If you're in your 40s+, not sure how you'll feel about climbing up a ladder to your bed in a small confined area. They do have a pull-out couch as an alternative though!(+). Either way, I'll def keep this site at the top of my list next time I plan to visit family in FL!

It was great home, just like the pics. very peaceful, beautiful to walk around the neighborhood, especially at night by the canal. We had great Mexican food like 3 minutes away. Not a sit down place but to order and take home. In Google comes out as Haven Fresh, but the sign says Mexican food. It's a little Hispanic grocery store. It's great eating there . Well back the house. You will not go wrong at this place . Mayelin was friendly and very responsive.

Perfect house on a Great Lake. Well surpassed the cleanliness of a past Airbnb house on lake placid that we previously stayed in. Lots and lots of toys, Inside and out for kids. Tons of space; was a great house for a big group. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Horse Creek Retreat. Marc and Meagan were so kind, friendly, and helpful. We stayed in Bungalow 2, which was tiny, clean, and just perfect for a few nights. We were very excited to see their goats, chickens, and ducks, and they did not disappoint. We got to pet the goats AND one of the ducks had ducklings! Since we came to the area to search for fossils and shark teeth, Marc and Meagan offered sifters and a shovel for us to borrow. We launched our little boat right at Horse Creek Retreat, but had a streak of bad luck while fossil hunting due to unforeseen circumstances. When we returned after a long day, we were pleasantly surprised by the crate of wood left at our bungalow. We made a bonfire with the wood and it was the perfect way to end the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better host and would love to come back again.

The home was very peaceful for a lakehouse getaway. It had everything needed, was uniquely decorated, and nicely furnished. Communication with the host and simple check-in/out was appreciated. Would recommend if staying in Lake Placid as it is close to town and the other larger lakes in the area.

This felt like a very lucky find. We were in the area to be at Sebring for work, so it was very nice to be able to get to this place and just...look out at the water. The owners had a person reach out to us about "anything you need," etc., so it was good to have that communication--they even let us know about a problem before it was a problem, as there was a local water main break so we had lower pressure for an afternoon but we knew why at least! The location is great, kind of tucked into the neighborhood there and the space is really great-- can picture how awesome it would be to be there with kids-the bunk bed room (and joined bathroom!) is amazing. Hope we can get lucky again and come back next year-

Lance's home is Amazing! It is so well stocked with everything you need all you have to bring is your toothbrush and clothes. You feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. There is so much to do that you dont even need to leave the house. So peaceful and serene. You couldn't ask for a better place to have a weekend getaway and we cant wait to go back and stay but hopefully longer next time. Lance responded quickly to any question that we had. This place is wonderful for any family stay.

My husband and I stayed at Jackie's place for a weekend getaway to check out downtown Sebring and the new renovations performed by HGTV. The home was only about 10 minutes from downtown. We enjoyed the town and the Sebring Soda Festival. Our stay at the home was so peaceful and relaxing by Lake Sebring. On our 2nd day, we spent over 8 hours on the deck and on the little private beach reading, conversating, and napping. You just feel a little closer to God while your here. There were so many beautiful birds flying about out there also. The inside of the home was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for the short stay. Jackie and her husband were extremely nice and very communicative. If you want to disconnect and unwind then this is the place to be.

Great stay! Only able to enjoy one night, but loved the location. Very peaceful and got to pet the cows out back. Not far from shark tooth hunting for fellow fossil hunters. Would stay again!

We were in the area for a wedding. The unit was perfect for our stay. We were two couples. We saw a gorgeous sunrise and were able to have our coffee out on the back patio overlooking the lake. The hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive. We would absolutely stay again when in the area.

This place was convenient to downtown Sebring, this place is exactly as the picture show. Everything was wonderfully prepared everything you need. Would definitely stay again.

the Sweeneys were great! we stayed here during a hunting trip at Babcock ranch preserve, its 20 minutes straight down the road. the house is only 5 minutes from a Winn Dixie and a gas station in case you forgot anything, the beds were comfy, the washer and dryer work perfectly, the shower and bathroom were perfect as well. very pleased with sandy's place and if we end up back in that part of town again I will be sure to book it again!

Candy and I enjoyed an awesome Sebring vacation thanks in large part to our stay in Alice’s villa. The location is great … shopping, golf, and really good restaurants are near-by. The villa was neat and well laid out and that makes for an efficient and cozy atmosphere. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and lounging the around pool…. This was our second stay here and we are very much looking forward to our third !!!
