House vacation rentals in Placid Lakes

Great location for our family gathering! Lots of bedrooms each with its own bath is a must for us. We were very thrilled with wildlife right at the Windy Point property. Like having our own private nature preserve. The Osprey were so active and some were nesting, the Great Horned Owl greeted us every morning and the baby alligators and turtles came out for sun later in the day. The number and variety of Herons was spectacular! Not to mention songbirds, Egrets, Cranes, Limpkins, Ibis, Cardinals, Swallows, on and on. Perfect place for our family to gather, make food, play board games, relax. The folks from Alaska and Michigan really appreciated the winter climate here and everyone enjoyed having a clean pool and hot tub that actually work as advertised! Went by so fast. We are keeping Windy Point in mind for a future family gathering for sure.

Joe was great, the home suited our needs, the neighborhood was inviting. Pool was fantastic. Weight room in the pool house was a pleasant surprise, I used it several times. Lake Placid is in the middle of nowhere, but it has a quaint downtown and has very reasonable pricing on food, golf, etc. Found plenty to do in the area, actually was surprised at how busy we stayed. Found really great food, a winery, and liked the lack of crowds and heavy traffic.

The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, providing a spacious and comfortable retreat. Very impressed by the attention to detail of this home that had all of the amenities you might need. The host‘s availability for prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone looking for a relaxing Airbnb experience!

The home was amazing. It has a beautiful view of the lake and offered perfect sunrises. We enjoyed coffee on the open, spacious back porch. The bar top and tv added to the fun while enjoying the pool. The kids were thankful for the firepit to enjoy the lake at night. The house was spacious and the living room couch was too comfortable. The layout makes it easy to have fun with your family while taking in the views of the lake. It was a perfect landing spot while visiting family. We would most definitely choose this house again when in the area.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The check-in process was a breeze with the keyless lock, and the host provided clear instructions ahead of time, making our arrival seamless. The house and pool were both exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The master bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept so well, I don’t think I moved all night! The heated pool was a definite highlight, and we enjoyed relaxing in it well into the evening. While we didn’t use the grill or firepit, the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The location was wonderfully peaceful and private, making it a perfect getaway. Overall, this home was exactly as described, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Sebring!

We spent a weekend at Jessica’s place, it was located perfectly for us to fish on Lake Okeechobee, the house was very comfortable, and quiet. Never had worry about our boat or fishing tackle left outside. Would definitely stay at Jessica’s again.

Don’s place is a fisherman’s dream! He was very flexible and responsive when I had questions about his rental. Super easy check-in, very clean house, and nice area to stay in. Plenty of room for your truck and boat. I would highly recommend booking! We plan to be back!

I have stayed at this home many times. it feels like home away from home. If you scour reviews like I do, you will see that I’ve repeatedly exclaimed this home is so clean and organized and comfortable. The backyard is absolutely gorgeous and everything is maintained so well. Patty and Michael almost always respond immediately to any questions I have-a nice warm couple with a very nice Glad” House.

We stayed here for 3 weeks and really enjoyed our time here. The house was very clean and has a lot of space with plenty of natural light. Lots of seating on the back deck to enjoy the sunshine as well. The kitchen was nice for cooking and we were happy to have the washer and dryer. TJ and Sylvia were very responsive and wonderful at recommending good places to visit. Everything about the house is cozy and comfortable and it’s also located in the perfect spot. Right across from the lake and a short drive to the circle in down town Sebring. A few miles from 2 hiking parks that we went to every day and several golf courses along with several places to eat. There’s also a great wide smooth walking sidewalk across the street along the lake that shows how pretty the lake is. We would stay here again in January of next year but it is booked already!

David is a great person, his house is well located and has all the amenities, I would definitely come back again.

Amazing little getaway location. Great for unplugging from society. Hosts did a really good job at making you feel at home, with complementary snacks and coffee. Air conditioning is great in the house, and the amenities are awesome.

From the time I booked until check-out, the host was very helpful. My family and I drove from NC and arrived much earlier than anticipated and the host was very understanding and helpful. She allowed an earlier check in that worked perfectly for us. The house was very clean and clutter free and I would highly recommend 5/5

Lovely lakefront home, exactly as described, matches all the pictures. Very convenient to the town of Sebring as well as the Raceway. Was great to come home from a long track day and sit on the dock and watch the sunset. The view of the lake was very peaceful. The home itself was spotless, a real challenge with a pet friendly home. Bathrooms were absolutely sparkling clean, with plenty of towels and washcloths for everybody. Nice extras with the coffee service and some surprise snacks! Well stocked with indoor and outdoor games, kayaks, life vests and fishing poles. Even had extra pet leashes and bowls! Janet was great with communications, check in/out was very easy to understand. Will certainly return!

This was the top notch Airbnb, great value for the price. The home was clean, beautifully, furnished, and spacious. Kitchen was very well stocked, there’s a laundry room, showers were large with good water flow. The hosts were very kind and responsive. We came down to hunt fossils in the peace river, and it was great to come back to this place after a long day on the water. Will definitely come back next time and thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay. The inside was cozy and comfortable ,the backyard and patio was very peaceful and serene.Any minor issues were handled promptly. Autumn's house was a great value!

We very much enjoyed our long term stay at this fun, wonderful home on the lake! It was very well appointed, extremely comfortable, and had everything we needed. Our host Rusty was very cordial and always available for any questions we had.

Very nice little place on the water. I was in town for a race and found everything to be just as described. Nice selection of cookware and there were some toiletries in the bathroom, which was much appreciated. Definitely will be looking this place up again when I come to town next time.
