You step through the back door and stop. The screened pool shimmers turquoise. The canal stretches wide and still beyond it, palm trees reflected in the water, a boat gliding past in the distance. The warm Florida air settles over everything and your shoulders drop and someone in the group says it first — this is incredible. This is exactly what we needed. Three bedrooms, a heated pool and spa, a private dock with sailboat access, and Punta Gorda waterfront living at its absolute finest.
