Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Placer County

I really enjoyed our stay here. It’s really close to town. The house is comfortable and we felt right at home. She has small things like makeup towels, sharp knives, and nice pots. I also really appreciate the quality and scents of the cleaning products and toiletries. It’s beautifully decorated and the yard is big enough for a dog or your children to run around. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Cozy and affordable place, great location. Alyssa was helpful and accommodating, proving us great sledding recommendations, feedback and advice. Great spot for kids - nice without being fussy. They loved the kids ‘nook’ in the bunk room with old school video games and the loads of games downstairs. Kitchen is tight for multiple people but we made it work.

we will return! Constant communication and Racj=hel went out of her way to have us check in early as we arrived sooner than we anticipated. The house is perfect! We have a small dog, there were dog covers, a fenced yard (with pooper scooper), a sweet fireplace, a footed bathtub, and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen and lots of towels and great sheets. We really loved this place and it would be great for 2 couples and/or a family. Great for dog people.

Had a great relaxing stay, the host had a lot of Amazon packages delivered but overall it was great.

Absolutely beautiful home, well stocked and loved the kids rooms having toys. Backyard was amazing and loved it day and night. Waterfall feature is so peaceful every morning.

Jess’ place was both incredibly well designed and cozy at the same time. It was immaculately clean, had a well stocked kitchen and was a perfect distance to the main drag in town. In addition, Jess was the most responsive and flexible host - answering all our many questions and asks for local recommendations (we were staying with a big family and kids over Christmas). Would 100% stay here again!

Corina accommodated not only a one day advance booking, but also an early check-in because one us was not feeling well and needed a place to rest after checking out of our previous lodging.

Ideal home for family with kids! Great location, lots of amenities as well as fun kid spaces. We were there in winter. Shuttle picks you up at door step and drops you back at door step after skiing!Everything was well equipted and made the stay quite comfortable for all!

We had a wonderful stay at Harry's place! We loved the relaxing cabin vibe with the view of Lake Tahoe through the trees and enjoyed the hiking trail in walking distance to the house. Harry was a very responsive and accommodating host - definitely would recommend staying here!

Great stay. Super convenient to my required location and a much better choice than a local hotel. Quiet, day and night. Walkable. Felt very secure due to the established neighborhood. 👌🏼

Amazing stay at the Oasis. Everything was clean and the house had everything for a great stay. We had a special party for our son and the open family room and huge kitchen island and seating was great. As well as the outdoor spaces offering comfortable seating.

Kevin and Jennifer's stay was very comfortable, clean, and great location! they were very responsive and were flexible with our travel plans. We loved the location as we snowboarded every day and it was convenient to utilize the Northstar shuttle and be at the mountain in less than 10 mins! Rooms and beds were comfortable for our group of 8 ppl. We enjoyed the hot tub and massage chair as great bonuses after a day of snowboarding. Would definitely stay here again! We had a great stay with our 5 and 8 year old kids and family dog. Fantastic location and great value- exactly as pictured. Cozy, not fussy, right in the heart of the Northstar village. If you need a midday break from skiing or have a napping child, this location is so close that it would be easy to come back for lunch or a rest. Other guests noted the 2 flights of stairs and one elevator as a potential draw back. Wasn't a problem for us on shoulder season. We left our skiiis in the car, you could also check them at the valet if you've got your hands full with kiddos. We used the heated pool and hot tubs at the recc center. Doggy relief was as convenient as it could be in an apartment-like building. Lots of patches of dirt close by with a nice walking trail by the recc center. One note, we had some nice spring weather and the loft got warm in the afternoons. Drawing the shades during the day and opening windows and doors for the evening made it more comfortable for sleeping.

Dave’s place was perfect. Super close to Lake Tahoe and palisades resort. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

In most things, getting the details right, is difficult. Sarah knocked it out of the park. This place is so thoughtfully put together. From the well appointed kitchen, to the great bedding, and the clear instructions, this place was so welcoming and comfortable. The location is very private and peaceful. We enjoyed using this place as a base to do daily excursions to some great snowy places for snowshoeing. We said, multiple times this weekend to each other, “I love this place and we should come back here soon!”.

Lindsay’s place was great. It was easy to find, easy to check in and out of. Lindsay was very communicative and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the most amazing time in Renee’s beautiful cottage with the best view and location. Clear instructions and very responsive to all my queries.

It was a great stay that can host 10+ people. It’s in the woods, quite surrounding and just off the freeway. Home has all the facilities. As we went during winter time, we didn’t venture out.

Very clean and nice place to stay!

Chelsea's home is as advertised. My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect setting for a quiet birthday celebration for my dad. We all were able to enjoy the lake and the peaceful scenery. The bedrooms were a nice size and the restrooms were clean. The mattress in the main room was a bit too firm for me. I decided to sleep upstairs on one of the softer beds. There are grocery stores 10 minutes out so we utilized the kitchen for most of our meals. The kitchen had everything I needed. The house manual was easy to follow and included some information on pet-friendly beaches which we appreciated since we had our pup with us. I LOVED the private beach access and dock. We had our paddle board and kayak and spent a lot of time in the water. My daughter enjoyed jumping off the dock and making friends with some of the other kids there (not a lot of kids...just the right amount to keep her entertained but not overwhelm me). I hope to make this trip an annual event!

Missy and Sonny were great and super acoomadating. They even gifted us some bubbly for our anniversary. 100% would recommend a stay at their wonderful home.

Loved the property and neighborhood, we had everything we needed and it felt like we were right at home. Hosts were very clear in instructions and flexible with requests. I appreciated the peaceful environment and toasty interior. Very cozy yet modern and spacious. Will definitely recommend or visit again :)
