Cabin vacation rentals in Pipe Creek, Bandera County

I can't say enough great things about Micky and Vicky. They were awesome from start to finish. The day before our stay we found out that the original cabin that we booked had been accidentally double booked. We had originally booked a two bedroom cabin for my wife and I and another couple. Micky and Vicky called us and said that, due to the double booking, they were going to put us in two other cabins. One for my wife and I and one for the other couple. When we arrived and saw that those two cabins were too small for us we called Micky and Vicky. Understanding our problem the quickly offered to trade with us. Micky and Vicky would stay in the small cabin, and they allowed us and our friends to stay in their private 3 bedroom residence. That's right. They allowed us to stay in their own private residence while they loaded up their animals and personal belongings to move to the small cabin during our entire stay. How's that for customer service. They were absolutely the best hosts ever.

David and Athena have done an absolutely amazing job with this place. We came here for our first wedding anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations. David and Athena put thought into every detail, and it shows. Very comfortable, very clean, very peaceful location. David and Athena are also very warm, welcoming hosts. We will definitely be back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. They have a great thing going with rescue animals and birds. Micky took us on a tour and told us heart warming stories how they adopted these animals. This was an “experience “ and not typical Airbnb accommodations! Highly recommend!

Home Away Ranch is not just a place to stay, but a place to rest fully, to meet amazing animals, and to enjoy a beautifully appointed cabin in the most beautiful place on Earth. Vicky and Micky have created a sanctuary for animals here, but it is also a sanctuary for human beings, a place of profound healing and beauty. I've never seen a more beautiful place. They offer gourmet meals, horseback riding lessons, gun range lessons, and expertly selected wines and mixed drinks. The goats are so fun to watch, with babies climbing trees! But truly what makes this place special is Vicky and Micky, living angels whose loving faith lives in their works and not just in their words. If you need a deeper rest that a simple "place to stay" can offer, Home Away Ranch is where you want to be!

It was so quiet that’s what impressed me the most And within 20 minutes, you could be right in town Which was nice I love animals. It was awesome.

Tamra was super responsive and very kind! The pool area alone makes it worth every penny. Tamra sent helpful suggestions prior to our arrival and the detailed instructions for getting there really helped us. Will definitely be booking this place again for a summer getaway! It was so peaceful and relaxing.

Would absolutely stay again! Great trip, this was our second week staying! Highly recommend. They have an amazing app to help the process be seamless! We had to reach out with a question and they responded immediately. As far as AirBnB hosts go, they are top tier!! Would recommend them to anyone! Just had our second stay at Rhonda's place. We love it there! Secluded and peaceful, but just a short drive to Kerrville. The cabin is clean and nice. Outside behind a little fence are three friendly horses (pet-able). Our dogs also love it here with good space for taking walks and lots to sniff. Highly recommend!

The cabin was perfect for our needs with space to spread out our things and comfortable for our short stay. The river trail is literally just a minute walk away and it's beautiful to get out for some fresh air. Deer all over the area which was fun to see on our walks. Coffee place, dive bar/restaurant, gas station/convenience store all within easy walking distance. Short drive to Fredericksburg for a nice day trip. Finding the place is easy enough with the cabins all labelled with a number on the door. Keyless entry was great! If you need internet access for work though you may consider bringing a hotspot. WiFi was available but was not super fast and the signal cut pretty often. The TV in the cabin is a bit older and slow but we didn't really use it much at all. The mini fridge in the room works great unlike a lot of places I've stayed. We didn't grill (this time...) but there are several BBQ grills around the property that seem to be open for use. Looking forward to our next stay!

Linda's cabin near the river was a perfect getaway spot! The cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our stay truly memorable. The proximity to the river allowed us to enjoy nature and relax. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Beautiful and peaceful. Wished we had more time to enjoy the wonderful property. We took the opportunity to lounge outside in the afternoon visiting with the ducks and watching the river. Melanie even accommodated us early which we appreciated. We were grateful for the Zazenberg Tavern restaurant recommendation, it was simply amazing and we could have walked there. Thank you Melanie.

A cute, cozy hideaway to just chill and relax!! Perfect for a getaway weekend for 2!!! Carlos was super friendly and so helpful. He made us feel right at home. This is definitely a place that we will return to next time we are in the area.

This centrally located cabin was clean and comfortable. It was a great value, considering our last minute plans for the final four weekend. It’s in a nice and quiet neighborhood with easy access to lovely San Antonio spots like the Pearl, downtown, and the quarry.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay! We were in Bandera for a rodeo and was looking for a place to stay where we could keep our horses. Nancys place was fabulous! Everything was extremely clean and well kept, the house was even more charming than it looked in the pictures, and to make it even better (if possible) there were fresh baked cookies on the counter when we arrived! She had everything you could need! Nancy and her daughter were so kind and welcoming that made us feel right at home. If you are looking for a place to stay with horses this spot is perfect! The barn and feed troughs were clean and sanitized and the stalls were spotless! They even had a fan in the barn for the horses. The property is absolutely beautiful, you cross a creek and pull into the most well manicured hay field with panoramic views that make you never want to leave. So quiet and peaceful! We could not have asked for a better place to stay! We will most definitely be back!!

Brent was an excellent host. The place was easy to find and accessible. Clean and had all the amenities as listed in the ad. Grateful to get an affordable place to stay near Fredericksburg on such short notice. Don’t forget to visit Stonehenge II before leaving
