We got such a warm welcome from Andrea and Frankie. Such amazing hosts! The cabin was so cozy, peaceful and relaxing. We had such an amazing time staying here. Super dog friendly too!

had a lovely, comfortable stay. carrie was easy to communicate with, kind and very accommodating. the house is in town and very close to the station, which is a helpful. we didn't have a car but still spent an enjoyable day out walking. would definitely recommend a couple of nights if without your own vehicle.

Lovely farmhouse in a beautiful setting. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The log stove was lovely in the evening. I will definitely stay here again, and happily recommend it to others with confidence.

We had a lovely stay in Darren’s lodge! It is in a super peaceful and private location, but not too far from local amenities by car. Darren came to see us after we’d checked in to make sure everything was alright, which was a nice touch. The welcome pack with a small bottle of Prosecco, milk, etc was much appreciated! The lodge itself was perfect and very spacious, with the hot tub and log burner being the highlights. Plenty of wood and fire starting materials were provided for our stay too. After a rather cloudy day we were amazed to see the sky clear up at night from the hot tub to a beautiful display of stars. We also went to Culzean Castle one day for a wander around which we would recommend, only about a 30 minute drive away. All in all, we would highly recommend Darren’s lodge to anybody!
